L'Occitane En Provence is a specialist boutique store perfecting the art of specially made fragrances, face and body products, hair products, and bath and gift packs. I love it because its exactly the sort of store my nan used to take me to. She instilled her love of fine fragrances and beauty products on to me.
As the name suggests L'Occitane originated in France, and was making organic and natural beauty products decades before the organic revolution. Pure perfumes and fine fragrances are based on the essences of nature, as are almost all other things.
And considering its a French label and quite upmarket, products, for what they are, don't necessarily break the bank. For instance, I love the L'Occitane Pivoine Flora Eau de Parfum for $69.95, and Neroli Eau de Parfum for $89.95. Naturally scented, floral, soft fragrances that continue to develop as the day wears on. And because the formula is based on a solid extract you get a beautiful scent that lasts all day (and night), without having that stale alcoholic smell.
At the moment I particularly love their range of gift sets for Xmas, I'm planning on getting one myself! There are plenty to choose from and give you the opportunity to sample a range of products at a reduced price, all contained in a gorgeous, keepsake gift box.
L'Occitane is pure, natural French luxury. The scents, the results and the fact that everything is natural or organic based are all reasons I love this boutique. And the fact L'Occitane haven't foregone the pretty, feminine bottles and gift sets we girls love in order to move with current marketing trends. read more
