I lined their pockets with $3,000 of work in two months and then they treated me like total crap. Dr. Noot was great until he backed up his abusive and narcissistic biller, Julie, who gaslit me about the damage to my teeth due to this medication and frequently, if not always, sends my claims improperly and I almost always have to call to follow up. She is rude and if Dr. Noot weren't so amazing I'd go somewhere else just because of her. Julie yells at her customers and hangs up on them. She is a b****! Stay out of her way. Dr. Noot backs up her disrespectful behavior and doesn't protect his patients from her so I feel need to warn the public. Also they are way, way overpriced. You can get the same biomimetic work done elsewhere for way cheaper. No one should have to deal with someone like Julie for any price. Unfortunately I'm likely going to have to file a BBB claim against them because of Julie's actions and her failure to follow through with what she said she would do. My husband went for DR. Noot for a sleep apnea mouth piece. The device works. However, get the cost and billing details up front and in writing. We paid $600 up front. We were "told" our insurance will cover the process and mouth piece. They only paid $465 and we received a bill for $1,635. I recommend this device over a CPAP machine, just be ready to pay a big price. read more

I have sleep apnea and was referred to Dr. Noot for an oral device. The oral device was approved through Medicare one time every 5 years. I have used the device for under 2 years and it de-laminated. I went to the Dr's office and was told I needed a new one. I asked if it was under warranty and they told me only for 1 year. I asked why they would not stand behind their product if it was supposed to last five years. The woman in the finance office, Whitley, was so incredibly rude. She said that its not their fault the lab only covers it for 1 year. I asked if other people had it de-laminate after less than 2 years, and if so, why did they use that lab. She said no one else complained. I responded that it must be faulty. She said it was simply wear and tear. I asked how it could be "normal" wear and tear. She said "you signed a contract". I do not even know what that means. This Dentist office will sell you something they know is faulty and not stand behind it. When you ask them about it, they will be very rude. She said she would give me a cut rate to buy a new one. If I am on Medicare, how can I afford to buy a new one every other year. These are $3500 a piece. Whitley also told me I should owe them an office visit for simply looking at the device. When I told her I did not like the way she was treating me and that I wanted to leave a phone message for the Dr, she said he did not have time for me because he was seeing his patients. I explained that I WAS a patient and just wanted to leave a message for him. She said she would just write down my name and leave a written message for me. She proceeded to lie to me during the course of our conversation and when I called her on it, she hung up on me. Avoid this Dentist at all cost. read more

We LOVE Dr. Noot. We found him last year referred by a friend. I have referred everyone I know to Dr. Noot. We have had some undesirable results from choosing our dentist based on our insurance coverage booklet and i decided I was done with dentists until we were referred to Dr. Noot. Never even made it to the chair! I've heard such great things about the new technology Dr Noot uses and how he trys to preserve your natural teeth. Thats why I was so anxious to see him after another dentist told me i needed 4 root canals. Trying to work with the receptionist was a nightmare. She wouldnt work with my busy schedule at all (mother of 5 kids, going to school and working part time). She Never returned my phone calls when she said she needed to ask the Dr if they could work in a quick consult on friday afternoon. When I did finally make an appt which it turned out i needed to reschedule to a later date, they wouldnt ever answer the phone!!! I tried calling multiple times for 4 days straight and EVERY single time it went to voice mail. I left several messages. I finally just called their sleep apnea office and told them to transfer me because no one will answer. Which they then did and once I FINALLY got someone on the phone, the ONE DAY that worked for my schedule was filled up..... when i first tried calling it was a week and a half out with plenty of openings.... it was so frustrating dealing with them that i just said, cancel the appointment... my teeth needed to be fixed two years ago, whats another 2 years.... After everything i have to take care of in my life, all i wanted was someone to take care of me who could save my teeth, which is supposedly this Drs motto but i guess they dont actually live by it. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Noot to anyone looking for an exceptional dentist. I have never had a dentist take so much time with me as a patient in examining my teeth and explaining his techniques and methods he uses to save teeth that most other dentists want to simply do a root canal on then cap with a crown. I had already had three dentists and an endodontist tell me I needed a root canal and crown on my #30 tooth before I met with Dr. Noot. The previous dentist I had seen came into the room and within less than a minute of looking at my X-rays from halfway across the room stated he knew exactly what I needed--a root canal and a crown. He referred me to an endodonist who I went to for a consultation and he concurred. For serveral reasons, I wasn't ready to bite off on everything these dentists were telling me. First, I had never had a root canal and really wanted to avoid the experience if at all possible. Second, I'm not impressed with dentists who are so quick to diagnose without even looking in my mouth and just at an X-ray. Unfortunately for me, my tooth was hurting so I could no longer put this off and had to take some sort of action. I called my previous favorite dentist, who had now been retired for several years, and asked him what he thought. He highly recommended I see Dr. Noot and described his conservative approach to tooth repair as well as some of the techniques he uses to help save tooth structure which also often results in avoiding root canals. My previous dentists also told me all of his family members see Dr. Noot and there are many dentists that also see Dr. Noot. Therefore, I figured whatever the cost for the consultation it would be worth the visit. After explaining my situation to the receptionist, I was grateful they were able to get me in within a week--which was great because my tooth pain was increasing each day. The first thing that impressed me with Dr. Noot was how much time he took to introduce himself, get acquainted with me, and talk about the techniques he uses and research he has done to provide the best quality dentistry. The second thing the impressed me was the thoroughness of his exam. Unlike pretty much all other dentists that work without magnification, Dr. Noot uses a microscope for his exam as well as all the dental work he performs. He also took hi resolution pictures of my teeth with his Nikon camera to document my teeth and later show me at a computer monitor. The third thing that impressed me was Dr. Noot took over an hour with me during this exam whereas other dentists spent only 10 or 15 minutes at the most. Fourth, I was absolutey thrilled when the consultation only cost me $54 (I am uninsured). I really couldn't believe this extremely friendly, warm, and most importantly, highly competent dentist was so generous with his time in helping me understand my situation and how his methodology could benefit me. I won't go into explaining his techniques and philosophy since you can learn about that on his website or even better, just go see him. Of course, Dr. Noot couldn't promise me that his technique wouldn't keep me from needing a root canal but because he was basically going to remove the decay and rebuild my tooth first (rather than having it done second, such as a crown after a root canal--the way it is typically done), that even if I later still needed a root canal, the tooth structure would already be repaired so I wouldn't need a crown later. I had nothing to lose since a root canal would cost $1,000 and a crown would cost $1,000 but his technique using a composite onlay woud cost less than $1,000. His techique costs more than a typical filling but that is because it takes longer and he is EXTREMELY meticulous in his work. Well, it has now been over two months and I have had no more tooth pain since he repaired my tooth so it appears I won't need a root canal afterall. Instead of paying $2,000 for a root canal and having most of my tooth ground away for a crown, I still have a healthy tooth that still has all the good structure still remaining. One thing that made the difference, Dr. Noot said, was that the decay really hadn't contacted my nerve as it appeared it had from all the two-dimensional X-rays that has been taken. I hope my story gives you a little insight into why I so strongly recommend Dr. Noot. I'm having my wife and children see him now and am recommending him to anyone who wants exceptional dental care from a dentist who really cares about you and your teeth. read more

I also found out that I probably never needed the four crown that I have gotten from other dentists over the years. They never told me there was an alternative--tooth preservation. After having many decades of experience with other dentists, I have found Dr. Noot is incredibly thorough and careful, and goes out of his way to do high quality work. He preserves as much of the natural tooth as possible, so that you won't have to get crowns down the road. It's 180 degrees opposite from the typical "drill and fill and bill" approach taken by so many dentists. It's kind of funny to say, but he loves teeth, and he loves to keep them healthy, and it shows. I am extremely curious, so I ask all kinds of questions, and i love to learn all about the amazing techniques, machines, materials, and approaches that they have. My wife and I stopped going to our local dentist about three years ago, and we have been travelling over 20 miles to see Dr. Noot ever since, and haven't looked back. The one improvement i would suggest is to have a little less turnover on the staff, but that seems like one of the bugaboos for all dental offices around the valley. read more

I was referred to Dr. Noot by my sister. She let me know his philosophy of avoiding root canals and preserving teeth as best as possible. Right away he told me I needed a root canal and by the next appointment the root canal was completed. The price was the cheapest around town and it wasn't until later that I found out why. That night I tried to floss between the recently worked on tooth and found I couldn't cause he literally made the filling connect to the neighboring tooth. The next day the filling fell out. It was the weekend and come Monday I didn't want to drive another hour to go down there and have him put in another crappy filling only for it to fall out again. I kept a close eye on the tooth and cleaned it numerous times daily to ensure it wouldn't get infected. I went to another dentist who took a look at it and let me know the whole entire root canal was done horribly and the tooth would have to be pulled. Well before you take drastic measures get a second opinion... which I did and was told the same thing. Now I know why Dr Noot tries to avoid root canals because he doesn't know how to do it. Take my advice its worth it to spend a little more money to get dental work that will actually fix the problem. Please Please Please take this into your consideration when choosing a dentist.
