Yaron came to our house, listened to our objectives about what we wanted to accomplish, lower energy bills! From the beginning of the job, until the end, Yaron was in constant contact with me daily about ETA of various crews, status of work being done. He stopped by a lot during the entire process to make sure everything was running smoothly. We are beyond thrilled with the work done. In just under two and a half weeks, all of the work was done. At the end of each day, the respective crew would clean up, no messes were left behind. I was very apprehensive about the new roof going on because it involved removing our solar panels and having the panels reinstalled. The day after we passed inspection, Yaron had those panels back on roof, working perfectly. I was stunned at how fast and smooth everything went. I would highly recommend Yaron and Landmark. I'm going to miss having Yaron stop by to say hi. He is just a wonderful human being and loves what he does.

My suggestion is to please check out your contractor before you hire one. Save yourself some time and money and don't hire this contractor.

STOP! Do not call this company! TLS was brought in as the…read moresubcontractor although we were led to believe they were a direct crew from our General contractor. They then hired their subs with David Chazen as their foreman and our $400,000+ addition to our home was a DISASTER! There were so many huge mistakes throughout the process and yes, I have photos to back up my claims. Examples such as having windows arrive that were the wrong size and was pointed out to the foreman, David, which was obvious since the framing was done and didn't match. He said new windows would be ordered but then changed the framing and installed the small ones anyway. We had them order new windows per our plan and they had to start over. We supplied a Mr. Steam Steam shower and paid extra for a valve that discharges water from the tank when finished and was told by David that there would be no problem and they would install the unit in the attic as they were very familiar with these. Luckily I checked with the manufacturer who told me that the attic in So Cal is too hot for this unit and needed to be installed in a cabinet. After the installation and pipes already run and concrete slab dried, we realized that the flush valve had been installed using PVC instead of copper which could now possibly melt under our foundation. When we pointed this out we were told that, "Oh, well that flush valve is an option". Yes! We supplied it... and paid extra for it! We now need to manually turn on the valve after water has cooled. Not what we had planned. During the framing process I went out one weekend and checked some measurements and realized that an entire wall separating the new bathroom form the next room was 18 inches in the wrong directions making the bathroom too small and off center from the windows and fireplace. I was told it was no problem because they would just move it. It was not a problem because I caught it! I kept imagining what would have happened if I had not seen this and they continued the build. Also, the addition had an opening between 2 rooms and I decided to make sure the plan was clear so I ran a line of tape across the top of the frame and marked in felt pen, "57" finished opening" and then a line on both ends to mark the edges. I still have the ridiculous picture of the tape and markings still there and the opening off by 2 inches on either side. Although we were promised that this was an important job and they were sending their best crews, there were subs that told me they had never worked with TLS before and were asking me about getting paid even though we paid all of our progress payments immediately. About a month after they were gone we received a Lien on our property from the electrician who had not paid. Luckily we had a small balance due waiting for the General Contractor to supply statement and proof of warranty and subs paid so we paid the electrician and deducted it from our bill. I am now receiving phone calls from their unlicensed subs asking me to pay them directly as they were never paid by TLS even though we have now paid our contract in full. We have been very patient for a job that started in July of 2023 and was to be done for Christmas, but finally was close enough to call "completed" in April of 2024. The word completed is in quotes as we just gave up on certain things and wanted them out of our lives. As of this writing on 10/2/2024, we are still getting called by the plumber that was hired by TLS and hasn't been paid. I called TLS owner, Shalva, this morning and as I told him about the plumber, he hung up on me! I also see that their license has been suspended by CSLB so I must not be the only unhappy customer.

His character is upstanding, respectable, and highly professional which my family and I can certainly vouch for. Reasons: Excellent communicator - Pascual was extremely proactive in calling and texting daily updates not only to me and my husband, but also coordinating with the head contractor to minimize delays and stay ahead of schedule. Professionalism - Despite our issues with our head contractor's project manager (not Compliment Builder), Pascual never badmouthed the company who subcontracted him, and instead found workarounds, even strategizing with our main contractor on our behalf to push for earlier scheduling. Honest and Reliable - Pascual always informed us of any pricing changes or lead times in advance so we could make informed decisions, and proposed alternate solutions to help us reduce the price, such as installing metal door frames vs. wood. Pascual even has done gratis work, which is so appreciated and practically unheard of today, when everyone is so busy and starved for time. This speaks volumes to his character.
