OK, first off, my bad, I stupidly STUPIDLY paid them before they were done. After the first day they had most of the work done and Tom told me they would finish up tomorrow. Then he let me know he wanted to be paid. So, stupid me... Anyways, they did not come back tomorrow. Or the next day. I finally had to call them. They eventually came back and did a half-assed job finishing up. My main issue is that they did considerable damage to my property. They left oil stains in the street along the curb from one end of the property to the other, they put a couple of gouges in the street, they put a substantial crack in my sidewalk and tore up several patches of grass. When i called to have them look at the damage Mr. Tom told me he did a walk-around with me after they were done and everything was OK. We definitely did NOT and he essentially called me a liar (Nice PR there, Mr. Tom!). So he didn't have the decency or the courtesy or the courage to even come out and look at the damage. Plus where they removed the stump looks like crap...the dead tree looked better. I have 2 bits of advice: DO NOT use this guy. But if you do, DO NOT pay him one red cent until the job is done. Once he had my money he was done with me. I'm sure he would not accept this type of unprofessionalism from anyone, he certainly should not give it.

Oh, and it is also remote controlled. It was so cool watching the trees come down, and how quickly and efficiently all the brush and limbs were chipped. Also, they were easily the most cost effective. We got three bids, and two others couldn't even get to the trees with their chipper. It was a pleasure watching this team work. Will hire them again if we need to take down any other large trees.
