It's such a relief not having to trek all the way to Philadelphia for a truly satisfying cheesesteak. What makes it even better is the variety. There are so many options, including a chicken cheesesteak, which I really appreciate. The location couldn't be more convenient, and the portions are massive and easily enough for multiple meals. I brought a friend visiting from Dallas who isn't much of a foodie, but even she was blown away by the chipotle cheesesteak. She usually doesn't have much of an appetite, yet this dish was a total hit. The spice packed a bold kick, definitely not for the faint of heart, but absolutely delicious. We also tried the Cajun fries, which were bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The experience left such an impression that we've already pinned the menu to our fridge, and I can see us ordering from here regularly!

Maranucci's Deli serves one of the best sandwiches I've had in Philadelphia…read more This is likely to poke the cheesesteak or roast pork purist out there but I'm gonna say it anyways... The corned beef hoagie at Marinucci's Deli is incomparable. It is layered with paper thin slices that are rich but never heavy. The dressing is balanced, the coleslaw adds a nice tang, and the shredded lettuce brings a fresh crunch that ties it all together. That's not enough. If you're from Philly you know that none of the above matters if your bread sucks. Well... Marinucci's offers seeded and unseeded rolls that are incredible. Please join me in thanking baby Buddha for this crusty, chewy yet fluffy vessel of perfection. The hoagie is massive, about the length of two of my hands long, and consistently excellent from first bite to last. When I first unrolled the hoagie my immediate thoughts were that I would never finish this in one sitting. I was right but you do you boo. The service matches the quality. It is an old school deli line that moves fast, with orders handled quickly and accurately even during a rush. Key word is ACCURATELY. Who knew that in 2026 whether or not a business can make your order accurately would be a thing but here we are. It's an important mention because this little detail tells me that they actually give AF. Ambiance: think classic Philly deli but without the attitude or aggression. Add chips and rice pudding to complete your order :)

It's lovely Italian deli a block away from Rittenhouse square, where they have a wide assortment of fantastic sandwiches. I chose the Vesuvius today and what a treat it was. Bread is fresh, chicken cutlet crispy on the outside, and great veggies. I've had a few other sandwiches here and honestly, you can't go wrong. Highly reccomend the Soprano and Gabagool as well. All are big enough that I can eat half a sandwich for lunch and another for dinner. The people working there are also very nice and friendly. Sandwiches come with a free bag of chips and the staff often hand out some delicious bread pudding cups. Highly reccomend this place. For…read moremonths, I have passed by and wondered what they serve inside without stopping in to see for myself. While trying to determine what I wanted to order for lunch last week, I took a look at the Yelp Page for Tortice's and saw some of the most mouth watering options ever. I could not decide between the Philly Special and the Rittenhouse. I went for the Philly Special because I was more in the mood for the sweet taste of a balsamic glaze and eggplant. I ordered my sandwich directly on the Yelp Page and it was ready when I got there to pick it up. The prices are super fair, I managed to get a drink and chips too for less than $25 for everything. The highlight of this sandwich was the chicken cutlet. I am PICKY when it comes to chicken cutlets. The seasoning here was absolute perfection. The portion was generous. I was full well past dinner time. The staff inside were very friendly and kind. I can't wait to return and try the Rittenhouse Sandwich next!
