    Comfort food!

Authentic Italian food! Locally owned by three brothers since 1971. The pizza was delicious. The right balance of cheese, sauce and dough.

okay so let me start this by saying i'm sort of a pizza snob. like franchise pizza does nothing for me. i love pizza so much i literally went to Italy specifically for the authentic experience. i think the best pizza is in the New York/ New Jersey area by far. now with that being said i moved to South Jersey and i'll be honest a lot of the food i've had down here made me miss North Jersey a lot. i ordered a pizza from down here recently and the sauce was ON TOP OF the cheese. disaster. so when i came across this place on yelp i saw the pictures and i decided that it looked good for all intents and purposes so i would give it a try. i called and placed a pick up order for a small pepperoni and sausage. oh btw i highly dislike the sausage crumbles some pizza places do so when i saw sliced sausage in the pictures i knew i would enjoy this pizza. took about 20 minutes to be done. walked inside and gave my order number. every one was pretty friendly and wearing masks which i was very pleased about. i got home and y'all... this pizza was so good... it reminded me of pizza i used to order every Friday from my hometown in North Jersey. the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. the crust was good. that sliced sausage was something special. i was so happy that when my best friend said she wanted to have a pizza and wine night later in the week i called them and ordered again!! i feel like it was even better the second time around so i knew it wasn't a fluke lol. overall it was obvious to see how they've been in business since the 70s. good food at good prices. i'll definitely be back

There is a huge bar bar in the center and a second bar in the back room. Lots of different setting areas. We scored both along the window. I would not sit at these booths again. The service was incredible. The servers use hand held devices to take orders. As you order an item, the photo pops up which the server would show us. They were also able to make any special requests on their device which we took advantage of. There were several menus along a gluten free menu for those who need. The food came out exactly as ordered. We had the fried artichoke, calamari, and mushroom truffle pizza. The pizza was incredible and our favorite thing we tried. It was cooked perfectly and the flavoring was perfection! There was no entertainment on the Saturday we went but they do have a live music schedule. They also offer a happy hour bar menu during the week. The pricing is a little higher than I expected so I'll definitely be back to take advantage of the happy hour food specials. I will definitely be returning and ordering that mushroom pizza again!

We waited close to an hour for our entrees while the restaurant continued to fill up. With a hungry toddler, the long delay made it difficult to enjoy the visit. After waiting so long, we ultimately asked to have our food packed to go because staying any longer wasn't practical for our family. We also noticed that several nearby tables appeared to receive their entrees before we did, despite arriving after us, which left us feeling overlooked. As Asian and Puerto Rican customers, this made us wonder whether we were being treated differently. We can't know for certain what caused the delay, but the experience left us feeling unwelcome and overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable meal. Neither of us love lobster, so it was never something we got anywhere more than once together as a couple. At La Superba, the lobster raviolis has been indoctrinated to be our staple. It was flavorful and had bits of lobster. Two of us had chicken parm and pasta which was hugh. Both took 1/2 home. They both enjoyed it The Brussels sprouts and apples was also tasty. One of my friends had the pasta carbonara which was more like caci Di peppi. It didn't have a lot of pancetta. The gelato was yummy. It came with three big scoops-chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. We had 2 servers-a man and a woman. The woman was very nice. The man rushed us for the minute we sat down. He didn't give any time to look at the menu before asking if we were ready to order. While we were eating dessert, he told us people were waiting for the table. It's not the place to go if you want to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal with friends. Street parking is available but it was pretty full. People park in the shopping center next door but two of the hostesses said they do ticket and tow cars. One told me it was in to park in funeral home or school across the street.

All of the issues were food related, not service. I ordered the chicken parmesan. My friends order the salmon and the seafood manicotti. My friend's salmon was perfect, the rest not so much. I could not cut the chicken parm with my knife, that is how tough it was. I demonstrated this to our server who offered a steak knife but I declined. The chicken was just as hard to chew as it was to cut. My friend's seafood manicotti was very fishy and clearly not fresh seafood. She ate half of hers and ended up just not finishing the rest. The server did offer to get us other options but we had a show at parx and didn't have time to wait for new entrees. I do think this location is beautiful. The garden room where we sat was lovely and the waterfall outside was a beautiful view. The prices were a little higher than most local Italian places. Between the higher prices and the food issues I described I probably will not return.
