If it doesn't help with cat smell, I won't blame TS. They just sell the stuff. Fingers crossed.

I always have better luck, and feel like there is a wider variety of clothing options here versus other stores. I think thrift world in general is the best thrift store for clothing in town, but I especially like this location as it isn't as crowded as some other others others. I had medication in my purse due to a recent surgery and they bombarded me asking to hold it and I said no. They then kept coming up to me until I put my purse back in my car which made me super uncomfortable. Service was poor and the prices here keep going up. Why is a pair of torn and stained shorts priced at $12??? I used to come here for the decent prices and good vibes, that's not the case here anymore.

This place is huge, and so much fun to shop in!!…read more I came in with friends on their half off sale for national thrift shop day, and we all walked out with some great deals!! Although the space is big, they have so much that the aisles are pretty tight. My only complaint is that there is only one dressing room for the whole store, so you can expect to wait in line for this. I do appreciate that they have a bathroom on site and available to the public. The cashiers were very nice and personable--they are always friendly, no matter what location I go to! I have also noticed that they are willing to haggle a bit and bring down the price if you see a noticeable issue with an item. You just gotta ask (ie. stain, rip/tear, etc.)! I really appreciate that part because it really helps to eliminate waste, especially from clothing if they can be fixed. I find this particular store to have fairly organized sections, especially the clothing and linens. They could work on larger pieces and furniture, which are just kind of haphazardly placed in the rear of the store. The cleanliness of the store is pretty good compared to many local thrift stores, and they have recently done some remodeling that has helped to open up the space. One of my critiques would have to be that I feel most items are on average $1 over-priced across the board (just my personal opinion). For instance, a pair of lone, unmatched toddler pajama pants were $3.98 when I was looking yesterday. Seems a little steep given you can get a brand-new complete set for $9 or $10 at Old Navy or Carter's.

Time to update since this Goodwill location has moved into the former Canfield's space since 2015…read more I have mixed feelings about donating here since I'm not entirely sure it's "not-for-profit". The conundrum is that when you are looking to get rid of stuff quickly, it's super convenient - you just roll up and someone is there to help you unload your vehicle. Today I ventured in to look for some children's books to fill a free little library my company maintains. The books were .99 each which isn't bad unless you need a whole bunch. The place was actually really crowded for a summer Saturday afternoon. The merchandise was organized well by size, color, holidays, etc. They had many brand new items - for example a full set of sheets for $19.99. However, as I have seen on IG these days, there is a big markup on some items. There was a small Fossil brand purse that was pretty beat up going for $24.99! That would be unheard of back in the day. I'm sure one could find some great buys for cheap but that requires some time commitment sifting thru the stuff. Overall, I'm glad they are here although I donate my most prized items to other places.

At points in my life I have collected comic books, other comic book related items, movie related merchandise, and diecast. This place has all that and more...! Shop smart and take your cell phone to stare and compare. I found a few items reasonably priced, but I found quite a few more that were well above what they could be purchased for online including shipping. One thing about collectibles though... Sometimes it's worth a few dollars more to have it in your hands. I've been surprised a few times when I received items that weren't as described or packaging was damaged in transit. Antiques and collectibles are a different market as a buyer... If you see something you want it's better to buy it right then if it's priced within reason. You may never find that same item again... Old Market is what Old Market is... It's geared to tourists and things are often a little high priced in areas like this. So is their rent usually... These areas attract a high volume of people and if you don't want to pay the marked price...someone who comes in right behind you just might. Some of the items here are a little dusty, but I guess that's to be expected with that many surfaces. Pretty hard to stay on top of all of it... The Imaginarium Old Market Mercantile is defintely worth the stop if you are into collectibles and/or nostalgia!
