    Armstrong Cable over the last year or so is slowly forcing Cable users to utilize their EXP Stream TiVo. Since the removal of cable to the sets the WIFI system is by far one of the worst in the Industry contrary to their claim they have been recognized by PCMag,com as the best overall cable provider. You cannot watch a complete show without signal interruptions. When that occurs you of course miss a portion of the show during the search for signal. When you contact customer service they advise that you unplug the service for 1 minute to re-boot it then plug it back in. When the service technician shows up he states there may be a problem with your router or Internet speed. I have 3 enhancers throughout the house and they tell me the speed is far more than needed and should be fine. The last three nights around 8:30 the Television goes into a lock mode as though it is searching for the signal. That is an Armstrong Issue not mine. I currently pay well into $250.00 a month for all their services and am getting service from a $20.00 company. I have now filed a complaint with the Ohio PUCO as I am tired of the excuses and the half ass responses and service I get from Armstrong Cable in Mahoning County. I have now been directed by the PUCO of Ohio to contact the FCC which I will do shortly.

    Just dropped my cable had enough of them over charging. $222.00 and going up again no thank you. I am now streaming

    MONOPOLY! Outdated equipment says all the techs that work there. Good guys but service is a joke. Oh and my Internet is out again right now!

    Every other day the signal goes out. I am definitely looking into other cable companies. Com cast wasn't even this bad.

    Pricey but reliable & somewhat weird. So I have mixed feelings. I'm paying considerably more for…read moreservice than when I began with them towards the end of 2015. To start, I got what seemed like a very good price. After a year it rose somewhat. After two years it shot-up like Jack's beanstalk. I eliminated the DVR service & cut back my broadband to a lesser speed, to limit the price increase, which was still a lot anyway. But it's always on. I have a DirecTV dish in front of my house from a prior occupant. Maybe some day I'll switch to it for TV & just keep Armstrong for internet, But I know that with DirecTV, the slightest rain will disrupt the signal. Armstrong, has been nearly flawless. There are some channels I wish they offered & a whole bunch I could live without, but that's the same with any cable TV provider. What's weird, at least to me, are their "packages" or bundles of channels. I have an HD-pack that includes an assortment of certain channels in HD, which is sort of fine. There's also a Variety-pack that I don't have that costs twice as much as the HD-pack. The Variiety-pack is also a variety of un-related channels, such as kids channels & sports channels. At the time of this writing, I wish I had FoxSports2 for the Women's World Cup Soccer Games, but that's part of the Variety-pack, 90% of which I'll never watch. My history with other providers is more focused bundles, such as News & Sports pack, Movies pack etc. Armstrong seems to pick assorted random channells & combine them in packages, which may be their strategy to get a subscriber to have to buy more bundles to get all the channels they really want. Their customer service is decent. It's also all USA-based, which makes talking to them easier than with foreigners for technical issues like I've experienced with DirecTV. When needed, I've never had a problem getting someone out to the house & there's never been an extra fee for any on-site visit. I've also had no billing issues (except the price, which is a different issue). There's another local cable/internet provider I could join here, but their internet speed offerings don't compare to Armstrong & though they offer a better selection of TV channels, the internet has become more important than the TV at this point. So, I'm living with Armstrong, somewhat begrudgingly. (NOTE: I'd put here what I'm paying, but there will likely be another price increase soon, so there's no point)

    Sky Satellite was contracted to install our Hughes Net satellite internet service. The technician…read morewas pleasant and professional for the most part. I am happy with the internet service however I do have an issue with how they installed the cable coming into our home. Technically the install meets all requirements from Hughes Net but I currently have a hole through my white siding on the front part of my home. In addition to the hole I have a foot of black cable running vertically up my white siding before entering the house. It looks hideous! I called the office and the gentleman in charge apologized but said the job was done to specifications although the tech should have done a better job of concealing the cable coming into the house. His words of wisdom were that if I had strongly insisted the installer find another way other than "the standard way of drilling one hole" that the boss would not let him leave the site without doing the job to customer satisfaction. So - be very firm on what you will or will not accept as far as putting holes into your siding for cosmetic's sake. Be very outspoken and demand that they spend a little extra time to conceal lines as they should. I'm hoping this review helps someone else avoid what we are trying to cover up now.
