On Saturday morning, my first day, I made a foolish mistake but Continental Cycles bailed me out. I filled my tires with air. Five minutes later, the rear tire deflated--psssssst! I did not bring an extra tube or tools. I read some reviews on YELP and came up with Continental Cycles in Ocean Pines/Berlin area. I removed my wheel, hopped in my car, and strolled in. I told the two men I recognize this is the busiest season. I showed them the tire and said I checked Zizzo online and it said inflation should be between 85 and 110 psi. I had filled it to 90 psi. "If you can help me, great. If not, I understand." The young man looked at the tire and said I over-inflated it. "This is not the original tire." (I had put fatter tires on for gravel). "The air rating is 40 to 65 psi. It's a BMX tire. If you leave it with us and come back in an hour, we'll have it ready for you. It will cost about $18." I was absolutely delighted! When I returned in an hour, my wheel was ready. I paid with a little extra gratitude. The older gentleman walked out with me and re-installed the wheel on the back of my folding bike which had been in the car. What did I experience? Two men willing to help which included efficiency and a great attitude. Also, I might say, a fair price.

Made appointment as I can't be without it here around the farm. 2. They postponed me due to too much work. 3. Dropped in off as instructed on a Saturday ready to be worked on the next week. 4. Heard nothing from them for two weeks then got a call saying it was too dirty to work on...........duh, you postponed me so I used it after I'd thoroughly cleaned it for your......charged me $125.00 to wash it!!! 5. Heard nothing for another week, called them, was assured it was coming in the next week to work on and be done end of next week (already well over a month after it was originally scheduled for the work.)!!!! 6. Heard nothing, called the end of that next week was assured it would be done next week. 7. They called and said the easy work was done like tune up but the upgrades were probably not going to be done as the bolts were rusty!!! I blew up.......told them the easy work was supposed to be done after the upgrades, not before. They said they'd do the upgrades but it would double their estimate......I said "whatever, just get the the d*^m thing done. 8. Went to pick it up, one of the upgrades was a new skip plate system. They handed me a big box of parts they said didn't fit my machine and sent me off. 9. Turns out they'd only installed 2 of the 5 sections they were supposed too. I had to install the other parts!!!! Their excuse............they work on 7 different models and sometimes they don't see each model often enough to remember what they're working on!!!! SO SAD!!!!f In the end I got it back 2 months after it was originally scheduled and cost me twice as much............NEVER AGAIN.

When I called him to ask him about the status, he said he would have to make some inquiries. I then heard from the guys I ride with, that know him, that he complained about me calling all the time, blah, blah. I called only once, he aligned the expectation, and did not meet it, and then complained about me to my friends about something that never happened. With that said, the work on the bike was fine, but the professionalism was non and customer service was non-existent. Apparently, he likes to make up stories. I recommend ACE in Millsboro.
