He made the assessment himself, spotted the problems then gave me an estimate on the spot. He then texted me a contract which I Docusigned. We set up an appointment for March 31. On March 29 Ezekiel called me if I was available Monday, March 30 for the roofing job. He said there's a rain in the forecast starting Tuesday through Thursday and he wanted to get the work done before the rain. Of course I agreed because I was worried too for the rain because it will cause some leaks inside the house again. So they came and worked on the roof today from about 10 am to 4pm. He sent 4 guys for the job. After the job was completed, he sent me pictures taken by the workers and I compared them to the pictures he had taken when he made the assessment himself. My husband and I are happy for the service they had done. They also cleaned our gutters!! They cleaned the surroundings of the house for the debris and dust. Very Satisfied customer here!!! That day I got the estimate, which was right in the ballpark of my other estimates. Fortunately I only needed maintenance. He excepted my negotiating price and on the next day two workers showed up ahead of time. When they were finished for a total of eight hours, I was happily surprised that they fixed more than what we discussed. I found out later by Francisco (the owner) that he instructed them to fix EVERYTHING on my roof, at no additional cost. You gotta love a guy like that, he takes care of his customers needs not just what they want. His workers worked tirelessly until dusk, were punctual and explained the work with photos. Stay Away!!! I can't give less than 1 star or I would!…read more David is quite charming, don't be fooled, his work is suspect. He did my roof in April 2026 and failed to protect the roof adequately during a rainstorm and I sustained nearly $200,000 of damage to the interior of my home. Fortunately, my insurance is paying, but I will be unable to live in my home for 4-6 months. When he finished the roof, I was concerned about the quality of the roof work, so I hired another roofer to inspect Golden Top's work. The new roofer reported about 10 items that were incorrectly done or below industry standard. Armed with this report, I was able to get Golden Top to fix the items. If I hadn't gotten a new roofer to inspect and report, I never would have known how poor the work was. The worst of these was that Golden Top they had roofing nails penetrating through the exterior eaves all around the perimeter of my home. This is a major source of potential moisture damage. David agreed that is was not up to Industry Standards and agreed to repair it and he did. But he did a crappy job, and when I told him I was not satisfied, his comment to me was, "well, we are not painters. If you want to hire a painter to fix it, you can, but I am not paying for it." See photo of my finished eaves below - crappy paint job and left bare unpainted wood. All this and the roof and gutters with guards cost me over $90,000!!!!! You have been warned.
