    Pizza was great.
    Vikash K.

Pizza was good, and food came out pretty quickly. Pleased with the menu selections and the funny waitress. But service was really slow. I get that having one waitress for 7 tables is a lot. But they should have more than one waitress helping out people over the weekend. Had to ask few times for glasses of water and plates. They cleared our tables after the appetizers which included the dirty plates. But then didn't give us new ones after we got the pizza. So we had to wait about 10 mins before she came back and then another 5 mins before she came back with the plates. Food was good, but not top notch.

    Sunday Brunch!

While I have been here before for dinner a couple of times, this review is based on the Sunday brunch. The website suggests making reservations, which I'm glad we did, since this place was super busy. Before I go on about how good the food was, I just wanna say that the service was great. The waitress had an awesome attitude and was constantly at our table collecting plates and refilling beverages. We were a group of 8 and everyone loved it. There was an amazing selection of items on the buffet. There was your typical breakfast items...bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes. There was also waffles that they make to order. Other items included, breaded shrimp, rice balls, potatoes, deep fried pickles, pasta with tomato sauce or Alfredo, chicken limone, fish, beef carving station, salad, grilled antipasto vegetables, shrimp, cheese tray, mini ciabatta sandwiches. As for dessert, an assortment of cake, pies and pastries, as well as fresh fruit. For $20 it's well worth it. I took some pictures of what we ate, but I don't think they did the buffet justice. So check it out, especially if you have a large group of friends/family.

    Mediterranean pizza with chicken

Finally ordered their pizza for lunch. It was incredibly delicious and fresh. Made to perfection. Nice thin crust. Appropriate amount of toppings (except it was light on the chicken). This is now my favourite pizza sharing lunch date place. The patio is really nice as well. Next time I eat here, I will have a difficult time choosing between, pizza, burgers and salad because there are all fantastic@!

This family-run joint has been slinging Windsor's legendary thin-crust pizza since '59, and I'm dying for more. That crispy, cornmeal-dusted dough is straight-up addictive--crunchy, chewy, and topped with their fiery, tomato-packed sauce and melty Galati mozzarella. Toss on that shredded pepperoni, and I'm starving already! I got a split pizza--Angry Hawaiian and Angry Canadian with extra basil. The Angry Hawaiian was a spicy-sweet dream with juicy pineapple. The Angry Canadian? Oh man, bacon, mushrooms, and that peppery sauce had me eating non-stop. The taste vibes were unreal. Every crust was golden, crispy perfection. And to top it all off those fresh-made cannolis with my Italian espresso? Creamy, sweet heaven--I think I'm going to go past there tonight and get some more! The vibe's warm, the staff's like your best buds, and curbside pickup's super quick. I also noticed in the menu some Gluten-free options to keep everyone happy so that was nice too. Antonino's is really a Windsor pizza done right. I'm counting down to my next slice!

Would come back, especially for that. The vibe was lovely and fun on a Saturday night. We started with the burrata, which was excellent. It wasn't just a basic arugula and burrata situation, it was well seasoned with a really nice olive oil, lemon, and balsamic combination that made it feel elevated. It also came with baguette slices, but those are made with their pizza dough (which contains eggs). Once we mentioned my egg intolerance, our server was incredibly kind and checked with the kitchen, and they were able to make alternative slices using their gluten-free dough. Really appreciated that extra effort. The Grandma's Pizza (we did it on the gluten-free crust because of the egg) was pretty good. The crust itself was solid, especially for gluten-free. The toppings leaned heavier on the cheese than the sauce, and I didn't love the cheese as much, but it was still an enjoyable dish overall. Service really stood out -- everyone we interacted with at the bar was friendly, attentive, and accommodating.

I remember when it was just a carry-out place before the built up the restaurant on the side, when we would just eat pizza out of a box on the sidewalk. On this day, we eat at their restaurant, and it is always so good. I have been craving a salad, and their rucola salad was so refreshing and delicious. I have been seeing people eat a kale Caesar salad, while this is not exactly like it, it seems close and such a good balance with the rich pizza. I got a limoncello drink, and an Aperol spritz, both nice a refreshing. The spritz was not the best I have had, but still worth trying. The limoncello drink was really good, definitely get this one. We also tried the red ale, very nice and drinkable. We had two pizzas. One was a red sauce cheese pizza with spinach, and the other was a white pizza, the Marguerita, with roasted garlic. The crust is so good, so thin. This place was on Food Network for a reason ( I remember so long ago seeing this place featured on TV). It is such a classic place. We sat down and we waited for water for a while and then it took a while to get our order taken, which was already inconvenient. I could see that we were the inconvenience because the bartender was already cleaning up so we weren't getting as much attention as we could have gotten. Even though we didn't really want anything except to put in an order for food. The bartender acted like we were stopping him from working to close the bar, which I can understand. At the same time you're not supposed to let your customers know that you feel a way about them sitting down. The food came super late as well so that also was not really a good experience. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to get one pizza pie out of the oven especially when it's an empty restaurant, just about because everybody's about to leave so there wasn't a crowd. The only thing that I give 3 stars as a par for is just because the pizza was pretty good but for everything else I wasn't super pleased last time I was at home. It was opening day weekend the last time I was there and I am sure that everybody was taking a beating because downtown was so lively but at the same time you never let your customers know.

I don't know what this man's intentions were, but he could've came up to me and just simply asked "are you doing okay? is there anything i can do for you?" instead of scooping me out as if i was getting ready to commit a crime. as I spend more time being back in my home in Detroit, i'm just not understanding why it's too difficult to receive decent and humane customer service. i'm just in complete concern & dismay due to this experience, do so much better.
