This was my first time using their service. I called AAA for a dead battery. I can't believe it but the mechanic was at my site in 5 minutes!!!! The mechanic's name was "Mo" from Jordan. You need to request him by name. He informed me how my warranty was ready to expire. He really took care of me!! This is the towing service that I would always call! read more

The technicians with Armada were awesome. Two were sent out (1 for battery service) and (1 for two service). They were prepared. I love it! Very professional. Thank you so much! read more

After running over wooden debris on a Houston highway, we ended up getting two flat tires. We were staying in a hotel, so I had to call AAA to get a tow to a tire shop. They sent Armada Towing. The dispatcher from Armada Towing called not much longer afterwards to find out what was going on. She was very friendly. Jaime was the tow driver. He was. A nice and friendly guy. He was there to tow our car for us almost right away. He called when he was on his way and when he was about five minutes away. My husband road with him to the tire place and my husband said Jaime was one of the nicest guys he had talked to. Armada also called later that day to make sure we were satisfied with the service. I'm not sure about the value for money as I get towing for free through AAA. However, this company was so good, I would probably use them even if I didn't have AAA. read more

This towing company was given to us twice by AAA. I would not recommend this company to anyone because they show up with tow trucks that are inadequate. As a business, you should always be prepared. read more

We have been waiting since 7:30 pm and were given a two hour wait. it was just changed to midnight. over a four hour wait. I am a female waiting alone. they do not answer my calls and AAA has not been able to reach them for confirmation. I am very unhappy. Triple A should have more dependable companies and I am writing to company headquarters now read more

AAA really needs to reevaluate the companies they contract. On March 31, 2026, they sent Armada Towing (Houston, TX) for my lockout service. I was given a one‑hour ETA, so I went 15 minutes down the road to a gas station. The tech showed up early, called me, and when I told him I'd be back before the ETA, he got an attitude, said he "wasn't waiting," and hung up on me. AAA had to re-dispatch someone else, which doubled my wait time -- all because this driver couldn't act professionally. This is unacceptable customer service, and it speaks volumes about the leadership at Armada Towing. I'll be filing complaints with the BBB and their headquarters, and I want others to be aware of how this company treats people. read more

Just needed my battery removed to take to autozone for charging. Robert or Frank, bigger guy with no work ethic can't remember his name, was dispatched and didn't even want to touch my battery stating it would mess with all the electrical stuff in my car which was not the case at all. He was really lazy and didn't know anything about anything. Then just left without saying anything else. Super unhelpful. read more

Heck no. Absolutely not Worse service. They NEVER arrived. Do Not Use this company Armanda towing has a female dispatcher that is the absolute worst. She doesn't listen or comprehend. She is quick to argue when she is in the wrong. She lies arbitrarily. A driver also mentioned how pitiful she is. I waited 2 hours for a tow. AAA should cancel this contract. This company is the best. Osman came out to pick up my car and was so helpful!! Really appreciated him.

If my car gets stranded for whatever reason, I call AAA and they'll send Armada Towing. They're usually pretty fast and polite. Lately, I noted they proactively call or text me as they acknowledged a request from AAA. The text message also include driver's ETA on real time map on glimpse.net. So far so good. I had a not too good experience over 3 years ago. I remember the month because that's when my battery says when was replaced - April 2018. I drove to H-E-B for a quick grab after work. When I about to leave, my car won't turn. So to find out the battery went dead. AAA sent me someone not knowledgeable about the problem. He didn't test just talk. He was gonna get me someone else to help at 1 am. He showed for me and it would be $490. It was a while ago. Everything seems to be correct. read more

Completely incompetent- they have no idea how to load a Motorcycke or even charge a battery on one!!!

It had been a long day at work. You get to your car. Hit the remote. Nothing. Try to turn on the car. No response. Call AAA since you are one of the last to leave. It will be 45 minutes to an hour, they tell you. Uggh.... Fortunately, I got a text message 5 minutes later. Someone will be there in fifteen minutes. Bonus, a way to track their travel. Twenty minutes later, David Salinas was at my car. Ran some diagnostics. Alternator okay. Battery was dead, but partially covered from my last battery issue (which was at the Galleria parking garage). Out of warranty, but a significant discount. Very professional service. David wore a mask the entire time. Offered me hand sanitizer after handing me a pen and paperwork. Five star service and I was finally on my way home after a long day. read more

Contacted through AAA. Unfortunately, this viking company is ruthless and careless with your vehicle. The general manager 'Omar' is ego driven and will coherse a payment from you or lift you in the air to threaten towing. read more

This was a tow service requested through AAA. Although the first flat bed tow truck and the guy driving it did not work out at all. The second tow truck, a jerrdan truck, driven by Julio was above and beyond perfect. He was very professional, knew about the quirks of our foreign car, and quickly and safely towed the car. Good communication with their dispatch office. Highly recommend. read more

I was stuck on a skinny shoulder on a busy highway for 30 minutes with no gas. Yes, my bad. My car said i could go 90 miles and i only needed to go 70 but it quit before i could get to my destination. Sitting there with 200 cars flying by, nobody stopped and my "roadside assistance" was difficult to understand and didn't get there. BUT then a wrecker pulled up beside me and this nice young man, Josue, asked me if I needed help and I told him, just out of gas. And he quickly parked behind me, blocking my car from traffic with his truck, grabbed some gas, poured it in my empty tank, asked if there was anything else I needed, and waited until i had pulled into traffic to take off. My Super Hero. I took a picture of his truck so I would know where he was from. He was very kind and thoughtful and didn't have to stop and refused payment. What a gift. Thank you to Josue and to Armada Towing who employs him! Y'all are lucky to have such a man working with you! read more

My car's clutch was messed up and so my car was just sitting in the garage with no way for me to drive it. Obviously I needed to get it towed to the shop, right? I called AAA and asked them to send me a tow truck and they assigned me Armada Towing to come to my place. I made the call to AAA around 11:35 AM and the CSR gave me a one hour window for the tow truck to arrive. Within around 10 minutes, I received a call from Armada telling me that a tow truck was coming my way; and after another 15 minutes, a flatbed truck had arrived and parked outside my garage. The tow truck's driver took a quick look at the car to see if he could maybe figure out what was wrong with the car. After a couple of minutes, we all agreed that it wast best to have the car taken to the shop. The driver asked me to jump in the car and steer it out the garage while he pushed. Once outside, it took him probably around 10 minutes to get the car on the flatbed and on his way. Since I had already given the name of the shop and the contact person at the shop, I didn't even have to go with him. Absolutely no issues with these guys! read more

I had such a great experience with Armada! Dispatched by AAA, I was initially a little concerned because they were about 15 minutes later than AAA quoted, but once he arrived, the technician diagnosed my problem and offered to fix it on the spot for less than I had been quoted by any place I had called. And I have three year warranty! Service was fast and friendly and I am so glad that AAA chose to send them to me. read more

If I could leave a minus zero rating I would but sadly Yelp doesn't have that as an option. Apparently, I drew the short straw when I called AAA for a tow and unfortunately was forced to deal with Darrell from Armada Towing. After waiting for nearly two hours, when Mr. Personality finally arrived, he was rude (which is putting it nicely), abrasive, condescending and just an overall a-----. In fact, when he dropped my car off to the auto repair shop, he just left it there, and didn't bother to tell anyone. Do yourself a favor stay far AWAY from Armada Towing! There are way too many options in Houston to deal with this crap! read more

AAA called out Armada Towing to replace a dead battery. They showed up before the predicted time and replaced the battery in less than an hour. We called AAA, and they called Armada. They estimated his arrival to be 1 hour, but Carlos arrived in 45 minutes. Before arrival, he was in contact with my wife. I received towing from this company through AAA. First I want to say I was highly dissatisfied with Triple A as well during this experience. I got a flat tire I told both triple A and the dispatcher when she called me that I had a flat tire on the rear passenger side. I waited 4 hours for a tow truck. (let me just say the driver was nice and trued to make my unfortu bad experience and pleasant as possible. He kept apologizing for the time that we had to wait.) However they did not send a flat bed for the tow and the driver had to remove the flat tire from the rear and put it in the front, but I later found out after we drove 12 miles on the tire that it was out on and was not secured correct. He did not tighten the bolts and after I finally got my flat tire replaced but I was still stalled because of the way the tire was put on and I had to get it tightened or I would have been in an even more difficult position. I called the towing company and of course no one knew what to do nor was anyone available to assist. Trust me Triple A and this towing company has heard my complaint I'm telling you this was the worse night ever read more

Both times I've needed my car towed through aaa this same company has come out and been unable to tow my car ... which if you don't feel comfortable towing it please don't.. that's not the problem; the problem comes in when they're literally lying to dispatch saying i don't have my ID BOTH TIMES when i literally did. The service was outstanding! I called AAA to open my car, because I had managed to lock myself out. The key had slipped down between the seat and center console without me realizing it. Out of habit I locked the car. Armada was assigned by AAA to bail me out. Lucky break for me. Help arrived in about half an hour, and was excellent. He quickly unlocked the door and actually found the key for me. I regret not getting the driver's name, but it was hot in Houston, so we were concentrated on getting the A/C going. read more

DO NOT get a battery from these guys, ever! I've had Triple A forever so when I needed a new battery, I called them for convenience and they sent these guys. Purchased a battery on 3/15 which came with a 36 month warranty. Six months later, battery completely dead, they came out again and replaced it because its still under warranty. May 2016 the new battery is completely dead, they come out and replace it, again under warranty. I take it in for a second opinion because the original battery lasted me 7 years with zero issues, my mechanic tells me that battery is the wrong size for my vehicle and Armada should have never sold it to me, I finally had enough and went and got the correct size battery from somewhere more reputable. Never again will I purchase anything else except tow service from Triple A, and if Armada tries to sell you a battery, run. read more
