I called Legacy Dental on a Monday morning and they were able to get me into the office by 3pm that same day. I absolutely HATE going to the dentist, so I had incredible anxiety about going, but the staff and Dr. B were so nice and welcoming. He answered every question I had (I had tons of questions). I was able to get a temporary crown and meds to help my pain for a couple of days, and then I came back to the office to get my permanent crown on Thursday. I love that this office is able to make your crown within the same day. Dr. B was extremely gentle with numbing my mouth, he walked me through everything that he was doing, and his staff was the exact same way, kind, gentle & patient. I was able to walk out of the dentist office with my mouth restored. I would recommend this office to anyone within the Burleson, Crowley, Joshua area.

My family has gotten 6 month check-ups for over a decade and we've moved a few times so we've been through several practices - good ones and scammy ones. We had a great doctor for the last few years before this last move and we've all had healthy mouths. We're well aware of our preexisting conditions and patterns so when we went to a local dentist in our new city and were told we needed a total of about $10,000 worth of treatment (AFTER insurance!), I knew we were at the wrong office. He was recommending treatment - some quite extreme - for 5 out of the 5 people in my family. I went on the hunt for a private practice (avoiding chains) and it was hard to find someone that would take our insurance, or they'd tell us that they could only let us know the day before our appointment. I scheduled one of those as backup, but Lifeway informed us right away (thank you!). When the backup dentist called the day before our appointment and told us that they didn't take our insurance but we were welcome to pay out of network fees, I told them no thank you. At this point, Lifeway was my last hope, aside from driving far away. Dr. Patel was very patient working with our concerns about being taken advantage of. My husband was able to talk personally with her in a separate visit before committing and she was accommodating and candid. Everyone in the office was helpful all the way from booking to visits (and I ask A LOT of questions!). Beverly, the hygienist, gave me the gentlest cleaning I have ever had. Really, it was almost like a spa treatment! I didn't even need to wear my headphones and go to my happy place. And finally, Dr. Patel didn't invent any "necessary treatments" or overreact to some preexisting issues that my previous dentist was keeping an eye on. I know we'll have some treatments coming up, and I am fine with that as long as they're necessary and I have a dentist I can both trust and talk to. Being personable and gentle are a huge plus, especially with my autistic son coming in next. Dr. Patel has a playful demeanor and I love that too (I saw one reviewer be rather insulting about that - thank God she hasn't lost her spunk!). I appreciate that she's young (I think that was the same reviewer). I started my own business at 26 and was well-educated and equipped, which I can honestly say 16 years later. She is an artist and a perfectionist when it comes to her work while being very conscientious of patient comfort. She also has a great sense of humor. Her office is full of very nice staff, and she runs a tight ship. Appointments are prompt, the waiting room has a computer with internet and a plethora of magazines including a few for the guys, the facilities are state-of-the-art technology and operating-room clean, and well laid out. This may be a bizarre thing to say, I actually look forward to my appointments because Dr. Zamora and her entire staff are so nice, the setting is relaxing, and it's usually a break from a hectic work day. This practice engages in high-pressure sales tactics and appears far more interested in profit than in patient care. I deeply regret not reading the reviews beforehand -- many others have had similar experiences, and I now understand why. Both my adult son and I were targeted with what I can only describe as scare tactics. Despite my son's clean bill of health from a reputable dentist just six months prior, he was told he had serious gum disease and urgently needed multiple expensive procedures -- including deep cleanings, laser treatments, and diagnostic tests -- none of which were previously deemed necessary. He left confused, alarmed, and out of pocket for one of the deep cleanings that they managed to convince him he needed. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I returned myself. The exact same playbook was used on me: dire warnings about the condition of my gums, an overwhelming list of treatments, and a price tag in the thousands even with insurance. I declined all upsells and requested a standard cleaning -- which was then performed carelessly and in haste. Several teeth were missed entirely during both the cleaning and polishing. It was clear that because I refused the costly add-ons, they no longer valued my time or care. I told the dentist that I was very disappointed and she said she would continue to work on me. I allowed her to work a few minutes longer but it was still evident I was not receiving even a moderately thorough cleaning. I have never in my life had a dental cleaning that was done so quickly and haphazardly. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional -- it's unethical. Patients deserve honest evaluations and transparent care, not manipulative sales strategies. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) and hope others do the same. Please protect your health and your wallet -- stay away from this practice.
