I believe Great Oaks Dental is Very High Priced & Not that Great at Decision making with U, where the patient's Best Interest is First & Foremost. I saw No Heart with this Dentist & her 2 Locations in Arlington. I found a very Narcissistic environment & very high prices.. I paid $5,000+ for One Front Tooth Implant & she never cleaned or checked my other teeth for the 9 months in between healing. Then, After I mention this to her she did check them and asked me if I wanted to know where my next problem was going to be? It was for the other front tooth that also was decayed. Oh Brother!! I paid less than $1400Cash at DDS Denture & Implant for the other front tooth & was as treated like a Queen.. I could have gone to Africa, shot an Elephant, brought back his Ivory Tusk & Had thousands of Faux Teeth made from it for the price some of these Dentists are charging for one tooth. I received a coupon in the mail for a new patient visit that included x-rays, cleaning and a consultation for $59, which prompted me to go ahead and give them a try. The service was great from beginning to ending. The hygienist was very friendly, gentle and thorough. We chatted throughout my appointment like we've know each other for years. I think her name is Kassandra. My experience with her was so great that I made an appointment for my son on the way out. They also give you a goodie bag which includes a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste and small bottle of Listerine. She also schedule my 6 month cleaning before leaving her suite.....great visit all the way around.

I was having shoulder surgery, after the cleaning, so I had to have the polishing a few months later. I went for the polishing and after that, I was on my way out, the lady at the desk told me I owed another $100.00. I told her that I had pre-paid everything. I began to get bills for the money owed, and interest on top of that. I was on the website "Nextdoor" and found 35 people that had problems with this dentist! All about money and services charged for things that they didn't have done!

I chose this office because it's closer than my usual dentist and had great reviews. But after my experience, I seriously question how those reviews are being generated. The office is noticeably dingy, dust on surfaces, worn furniture, stained x-ray aprons, etc. The standing X-ray machine wasn't working, and after a few attempts and a computer restart, they just skipped it entirely. While I was waiting in the room I started noticing more off putting details, some bugs on the floor, dirt around a drooping plant, and what looked like damage in the wall with some sort of debris and a few bugs on it. At this point I was already questioning if I wanted to stay but it was the interaction with the dentist, Dr. Miller, that ultimately made me leave. He came in, and spoke to me from behind while looking at a computer screen. I had mentioned on the form that I sometimes had an issue with dry mouth and he asked if I wanted a "paste." When I asked what it was, he gave vague, non-answers like "something to help dry mouth." I had to ask multiple times before he vaguely mentioned fluoride and "other things." At that point, I stopped the appointment and said I wasn't comfortable continuing. Two things really bothered me about this interaction: 1. Either he didn't clearly know what he was recommending, which is concerning. 2. Or he chose not to explain it properly, which is equally concerning. Patients have a right to understand what is being recommended or prescribed to them. After I said I was leaving, the dentist immediately exited without another word. No explanation, no attempt to address concerns, nothing. The staff member did apologize, which I appreciated, but I will not be returning.

Both Dr. Flanagan and Tammy are incredible--kind, friendly, and excellent customer service. Dr. Flanagan is a conservative dentist and doesn't recommend unnecessary treatments in order to make money. His patients truly come first and that's why I will only see him. Plus, Tammy runs an extremely smooth operation and is bubbly and wonderful. Can't recommend this crew enough!!

When I arrived, a high-pressure sales pitch for deep cleaning (not covered by insurance) was given citing deep bone loss. He gets his teeth cleaned every six months and has never been told anything about bone loss, so he was skeptical and declined the deep cleaning, but asked the lady with the clipboard (who wanted the procedure approval) if he would still get the regular cleaning today if he didn't agree to the deep cleaning and she answered yes. However, they only polished and flossed - no plaque scaling was done at all. He felt pressured and when he didn't give in, they seemed to not care and only wanted him out of the office. A call to the office manager gave conflicting answers and a general disinterest in making it right.
