Having had good previous experiences, we again contracted with Berryhill to return in May of '24 to do a our gutters, interior and exterior windows. They did an excellent job. They job cost $125 for gutters, $111 for interior and $300 for exterior for a total of $536. In addition, we tipped each of the two techs $40 each. We had company coming so we reached out again in September of '24 for just an interior and exterior window touch up. Imagine our surprise when, without the gutters, our credit card was charged $613 for just the window cleaning. Obviously a mistake, right? (Oh, and this time it was just 1 tech, he did a wonderful job. Shared that he was getting married in a week, so we tipped him very generously). When we saw the charge, we reached out to Chris to point out theit mistake and request she refund the overcharged amount. Here is her reply, "I understand your confusion. Unfortunately we had our sales guy who is no longer with us, not price things accurately. He priced the windows a few hundred under how we would charge for a home with the amount of windows you have." "Sorry for the confusion there. But that must be why." WHAT? Chis refused to refund the difference from what we were quoted and paid just 5 months earlier. IS SHE REALLY MAKING HER MISTAKE AND POOR MANAGEMENT OF HER SALES TEAM OUR PROBLEM? Weeks later, I was contacted by Berryhill's marketing director (or some title similar) with a request that I post a review. I shared with her my concerns and told her she probably didn't want us to post anything right now. She asked why, so I forwarded Chris's reply for her, as she said she would look into it. CRICKETS! Nothing. Ran my business for 41 years with the understanding that it how you solve your mistakes, never the mistake itself, that will cost you clients and future business. If the job was underquoted, we should have been made aware of the issue prior to the work being done, not after. This is not acceptable! Berryhill has drawn a line in the sand and refuses to refund the amount charged in excess of their quoted price. So, writing this seems to be our only recourse. It's not worth my time to take them to small claims court (where this would be a slam dunk win) but about them putting their reputation and their ethics above all. They failed to do so. They continue to blame us for their mistakes. So, here is my wife's and my first negative review of any business. Ever. We don't believe in it. If we ever experience an issue that deserves attention, we handle it 1 on 1 with the manager or the owner. Give them the opportunity to address the issue. No one else needs to know - that's neighbors or friends helping local business to do business better. In this case, I will continue to repost until the situation is handled in the professional manner all customers should expect.

We have alot of windows and many of them were left with streaks on the glass. The window sills were not thoroughly cleaned, despite asking specifically for that and agreement that it would be done. After I complained to the office manager via phone, they said a crew would return to correct the issues. Three days later they showed up without the necessary equipment and blamed that on their manager misinforming them. (A crew that badmouths their manager?!) After I expressed to the crew my disappointment at wasting my time, they decided to give up instead of going back to get what they needed. At that time, I sent a text to the office manager and never heard back.
