On his first visit, among other things including a thorough vacuuming to remove moving dust, Dan astutely noticed that one of the hinge pins was not installed properly by the movers and narrowly avoided my piano's untimely death (!) Dan is veteran piano technician, an absolute wealth of knowledge and expertise, and is responsible for maintaining many fine pianos in the DFW area, from restaurants, to jazz clubs, to churches, to museums. After his deft maintenance and voicing, my piano has NEVER sounded better... he makes the piano easier to play, evening out how the hammers strike the strings as well as the tone, removing obstacles as the musician.
