We met Tom with Ark roofing in Nov, 2025. He showed up on time and inspected our roof. He then came in and detailed the state of the roof to us. He spoke calmly and clear about the all the details involved in this big decision. We immediately liked him and felt like we could trust him. He showed us photos of work that the company had completed and brought in real examples of material to be used on the job. When he was done speaking to us he had outlined what to expect in our future project. He answered all our questions and while confident, did not push us to make a decision. We thought about our visit with Tom and made the decision to sign up for a new roof with Tom and Ark roofing . We signed 4 days later. Tom put together a whole package for us with many details. We met Janine who manages the scheduling and wears a lot of hats. She was very kind and helpful, and very patient with us leading up to the day the project would begin. The project began on March 4th . First our solar power grid was removed from then the work on the roof begin. The crew lead by Pedro was very respectful super hard working , and cleaned up thouraly at the end of each day. Each team member worked very hard and displayed a feeling of confidence and pride in their work.Tom would come by daily, some times twice to go up on the roof and Insure that the work plan was being followed to a T... Tom kept us well informed and when we sprung a surprise request for a new sky light. Tom made it happen! Pedro was there updating us and reviewing all the work being done. He was always happy and cheerful. He was very positive and professional. The end result was a thing of beauty and we are forever grateful to Tom, Pedo and the crew. We also feel like we recieved a lot of value in the quality of the work performed . Every one involved proved dedicated to doing a great job. My roof was leaking over the last year due to poor installation from the last owner. I received several quotes with most being in the very high range and out of my budget. Guy (the area manager) for Ark roofing was the second the last person who came out to gave me a quote. He arrived early for our appointment and took 1.5 hours to assess the roof/talk with me about the quote. He even went up into the attic to gauge the boards from underneath (no one else did that). He sat down and explained the process. He was very professional and easy to talk to. Once Guy discussed about the roof with me, I knew he was the company I wanted to complete this project. His quote was very reasonable and not absurdly high. From the beginning, guy communicated so well about each step of the project. His office called to set the initial date to tear off the roof (which they completed in part of a day). After each day, the team would clean up around the house. Guy sent pictures from his drone during each part to show me the progression. He would call me to inform me of the progress and what was happening. There was only one mishap where the power went off during the tear off but Guy was on it! He called an electrician that guided his team on what to do and they had the power back on. He genuinely was concerned and wanted it fixed right away. After the tear off, they came out and completed 95% of the roof in one day. Then, they had the last day to fix up a couple of spots before the inspection. Guy communicated with me about when the inspector would come and my involvement in the process. Guy from Ark Roofing was so awesome. I reached out to him from a sign I saw while driving. I gave the company a call and set up an appointment for someone to come out. Guy called and stay in communication with me the whole time. Guy also explained everything that was going to happen step by step. He informed us about the price and how much everything was going to cost upfront. No hidden surprises and even though we did need the extra we already know the cost ahead of time because Guy already told us. I really do appreciate You Guy. We had to put our project on hold a few days and told Guy we wasn't going to go through with it at the time. He was understanding and let us know if we decide later just let him know. Guy, the project manager, was very professional how he explained and presented all details regarding the replacement of my roof. Ark uses Owens Corning shingles which Consumer Reports (January 2020 issue) considers among the highest quality shingles available. In taking bids, prospective roofers would not paint the undersides of the eaves (plywood) which needed replacement due to dry rot. Also, the gutters needed attention which ARK took care of, no problem. In short, Guy took care of everything I wanted. For awhile, I didn't think I could find a roofer that would do what was needed and the results I wanted. Guy delivered everything he said he would and then some, Thank you!
