I bought a home almost a year ago and looking through some paperwork I found the home doctor…read moreinspection report and got mad all over again. The inspector did not tell me verbally or include photos in his report regarding a board screwed onto the HVAC unit. Shortly after purchasing the home I went to use the A/C and it didn't work. The Home Doctor refused to file a claim to their insurance and because this was not taken care of prior to the purchase of the home the owner wasn't responsible. But when my warranty company contacted Home Doctor he provided pictures of the damage from his cell phone so that my claim would not be covered. Underneath the board that was screwed on to the unit the copper pipes had holes from the screws-so no Freon. He had to of known that a board screwed to an HVAC unit is not typical. Waste of $350.
