In addition, they installed pavers in the patio area. I am so relieved and happy that I finally have a yard that my family can enjoy. I would definitely recommend King to my family and friends. One tree was dead, the others were showing signs of age and a large root was growing towards the house. That, coupled with overgrown grass/weeds from recent rains was creating a nightmare scenario. Afraid the trees might topple onto our house we decided the time had come to remove the trees and give the yard a haircut. Out of a couple of estimates we received, Espitia's Tree Service answered my quote request in a timely manner, was able to promptly come by to make an assessment and proposal. The yard service was included as well as stump/removal. Alejandro explained the process, the options and time table. He kept us in the loop and I was quickly informed when timing had shifted a bit because a prior project was taking longer than expected. Work was done in a timely manner, the fear of trees toppling over no longer an issue. They removed the stumps and a large root that was growing in the direction of the house. After I received a prompt reply to my inquiry and a reasonable estimate from Jon/Oahu Tree Preservation, I contracted them to do the job. Jon and his employee were both personable and professional as they went about their work (very quietly, I might add!). They understood my concern about not disturbing bird nests, and, also at my request, they left untouched some branches that provide a screen between our side yard and the neighbor's windows. They cleaned up after themselves, leaving two airy, well shaped trees. Jon also planted a young grapefruit tree for me and continues to provide advice.
