I found this business online as I was looking for service for my electric lawnmower. It's a mower about 7 years old and I needed the blade sharpened. I went to another business in the West Valley that advertised blade sharpening and outdoor lawn equipment service. When I went there with my blade, the man - who seemed rushed - said that he couldn't sharpen it - that t was "too far gone". So I asked if I could replace my blade to which he replied that he didn't have one and that I could probably find one at Home Depot or look online for one and "sorry I can't help you". Discouraged that he couldn't help me a bit further, I went to Home Depot and Lowes in search of a blade for my mower which no longer is manufactured. No luck. I then went online to Amazon and confirmed buyers there directed me to a blade that might fit. I received it the next day and installed it. It worked for a while but then began making a horrendous noise upon start-up and not too long after, was chopping the grass and getting stuck. I checked my blade and it wasn't on correctly anymore. I tried to remove it to reinstall it, but it wouldn't come off now rendering the mower useless. So I searched for another repair shop and found Az Tree and Turf. I dragged the mower into the car, drove the 30 minutes and brought my mower in. Dan came out from the back. I explained what the issue was and the first thing he said was that he didn't do repairs on electric mowers (my heart sank)... but he also said he would have a look! Dan graciously fixed the blade within 5 minutes. My installation of the blade would not get a 5 star rating .. but Dan removed it and reinstalled it the correct way. And refused to accept any payment. AND in the 110 degree temperatures, brought the mower out and loaded it into my car. I can't tell you how grateful I am and would highly recommend this business. I was very pleased with Daniel's Lawn mower repair. I brought my Teoy-built push mower to his store as a walk-in (no appointment). Daniel offered to help me talk my mower off the pickup truck. He sharpened my mower blade, and had the correct foam air filter and spark plug to get my well on my way with an almost fully tuned mower. All I have left is to change the oil now. I was in and out of his shop in about 10 minutes and prices at AZ Tree & Turf are very fair! read more

Bought a chainsaw online that wouldn't cut anything. Took it in thinking the chain needed to be sharpened. Took him about 10 seconds to tell me the chain was sharp, but it was on backwards. I'm not a chainsaw guy, I was clueless. Forgive me that I don't remember his name, I'm terrible with names, but he took it apart and fixed it and then would not accept payment, at all. What wonderful customer service, refreshing in this day and age. So, I highly recommend Arizona Tree and Turf, he will treat you right. read more

On August 27, 2012 I bought my McClain tiff mower to Arizona Tree and Turf for service. I had just purchased this mower used and had never used it on my own lawn. At the end of September I picked the mower up from the shop and brought to my home. The mower was not used until April 2013 due to the fact that grass is dormant during the fall and winter. I used the mower on my Tiff lawn and after 30 feet, I realized that the mower was tearing out my grass. My neighbor who is the head of grounds keeping of a large resort looked at the mower and noted the mower's spinner blade and c blade had a 1/2" gap between them which is way too much space. This large space was causing the grass to be ripped out, not cut. I then contacted AZ Tree and Lawn. I person I spoke with on the phone said that the only reason blades would be like that was if the mower ran over rocks. My yard is Tiff with no rocks whatsoever. I told him this and that I had only ran the mower 30 feet since I picked it up last September. He told me to bring the mower in but if they believed I had ran over rocks I would be charged again. A week latter, I bought the mower in and had their service man looked it over. He proceeded to point out several areas on the mower where there was rock damage. I told him this could not be unless their shop did not do the work I paid them to do last August. Reinterated that if the damage was due to rocks, I would have to pay for the service again. I decided I did not want to pay this shop again for a service they were already paid to do. read more
