I spent over 400 to receive what I was told would be a "highly detailed and powerful resume" and LinkedIn "facelift." The first draft I received was unbelievably disappointing. The words used to describe my job description aren't words used in my field. The job skills included are skills for an entry level position and excluded skills that showed me being at an advanced level, after 15 years of being in my career. They couldn't even spell check the draft and they had repeated sentences under the same job. It looked as if someone had quickly thrown sentences together without reading or spell checking it with NO knowledge of my job. I notified Lindsey, the first person I spoke to in creating the first draft, with absolutely no response. It was an assistant who would only communicate with me and that got me nowhere. I took the mess they sent me and rewrote the resume in its entirety. Almost every sentence had to be rewritten. They NEVER started or completed my LinkedIn. I'm super disappointed. I didn't have the time or the energy to write my resume and in the end I paid 400 to do it myself and I have all the documentation showing this. I emailed William, the account manager and expressed all of this to him and it went nowhere. I'll be filling a complaint with the better business bureau along with all of the proof.
