After the first night our group was disgusted. We checked around but no large property was available at the last minute since we already paid in full and if we found another place didn't have the immediate funds to rent another place so we stuck it out, made a list of deficiencies with extensive photos and filed a Compensation Request Form online. To date there has been no response. A letter outlining the issues to Destination Arizona at the listed address of 7077 E. Marilyn Rd STE 130, Scottsdale AZ. was mailed. It was resent twice but came back "RETURN TO SENDER-VACANT UNABLE TO FORWARD" At this juncture I went to the website DestinationAZVacations.com to the chat. I saw the house,52nd Gateway, on the site. The chat response was they couldn't help with anything except booking. My last try will be to send our complaint to another address with the same name though it appears to be a residential single family home. If no response I will contact VRBO with my serious complaint. I am a VRBO Premier Host in Florida and would be ashamed to rent a house in such poor condition.

We requested to meet to discuss the Sojourn Properties accounting methods and the high OTA fees charged that did not align with the contract we signed. In addition, we requested to be added as an Airbnb co-host to our property (to have line of sight into our booking). This was declined by Sojourn Properties, LLC. After multiple attempts to handle the alignment to our contract behind-the-scenes, we did not receive communication back.
