This one is open most days during winter season. They have a pretty good selection of produce plus some jams and salsas and that type of stuff. There roasted peanuts are pretty good too. They looked leaves from a Giant Gunnera plant, commonly known as Dinosaur Food. I only brought one bunch home 'cus I had to fold them both vertically and horizontally just to fit them into the produce sleeve. The leaves measured 15" across. Unbelievable and delicious, I hope to find more from Joe Heger farms in the future.

They had plenty of vendor stands set up selling everything from fresh fruits and veggies, homemade soaps, jams, lotion, clothing, yarn, handmade jewelry, leather works, arts/crafts, blankets, fresh lemonade, and more. The prices of the fresh fruits and veggies seemed pretty reasonable but some of the other vendors were quite steep I think. There was plenty of convenient parking right in the church lot and they had sanitizing stations available upon entering. They are open from 9 am to 2 pm on Wednesdays during the late fall, winter, and early spring, but close for the summer months beginning early April so go while they're still here (only a couple more weeks this season!).

Since COVID so often such methods of procuring Groceries has been wrought with a little uncertainty. Now that we are on the other side of the pandemic era I am happy that I can still drive up and park and have my order loaded. I understand that stores miss out on the financial benefit of our tendency to impulse shop by being in the aisles impacted by displays, advertising gimmicks etc.... But I believe that many of us have become susceptible to impulse shopping while we shop online. So be that as it May I still enjoy both methods of shopping.

They also farm bell…read morepeppers, blueberries, dates, green onions, brussel sprouts, grapes, parsley, broccoli, avocados, cilantro, radish and spinach with fields in Mexico and Peru. GREEN ASPARAGUS: I buy them at our local Costco. The bag is 2.25 lbs. and costs around $8, a good deal compared to smaller grocery stores. The spears are also on the skinner-side which I prefer, meaning they came from young plants. When preparing them, most people break off the bottoms at their weakest point but I prefer them cut exactly at the halfway point because anything below that is too hard and tough, IMO. Aside from the boring steamed variety, I like to stir fry them (especially with fresh baby bellas) with fresh garlic, garlic salt, pepper and oyster sauce. It makes an excellent side dish or vegetarian meal in itself. OVERALL: Fresh and delicious!
