I couldn't understand why as the box stated the same size as all my others a size 6 regular fit. I sent them back and was told they wouldn't refund me as they were worn outside... it's Alberta winter with mud and snow. They shoes are still Snow White... Upon looking it appears they sent me either a man's shoe or a wide. And are unwilling to assist in the matter. Don't trust your getting your shoes the way you ordered them.

Shoe shopping, probably one of the most complex shopping experience I go through. One because…read morethere's hardly ever my size and two bc there's poor customer service. I've been a long time customer of The Shoe Company. This location in particular I feel deserves feedback for anyone thinking of shopping at ANY Shoe Company retail store. This location has a huge parking lot, just be careful bc plenty don't know how to drive in this area! Public Transit isn't but a few minutes away due to the bus "station" Staff varies there some are very helpful some are too shy. Their prices are reasonable considering the wide range of name brands they have. Sizing can be an issue, so don't contemplate for too long bc once you find a size and shoe you love/like you better grab them! They definitely don't have them on the shelf for too long. Now, here's a particular experience I just had. They didn't have the size I needed so we ordered it as it was available from their website. HOWEVER, the cashier did not mention why the shoe was discounted for ordering it than the price it had on the shelf but a size a couldn't use. We then placed the order. it was delivered to my house for free. Turns out the wrong size came in, apparently a stupid mistake bc I didn't realize nor did she... that the size was a half size too big. When it came in the mail.. we noticed it was too big of a shoe. I went back for an exchange. The exact same shoe. but, different size. They could not honor the price I got originally. and they also said its from the time I paid not when the shoe arrived.. so it was "too far back" do them to honor the sale price. I had to dish out an extra 50$. The weird thing is the cashier insisted to have the supervisors look at why the price from the new size IN STORE was a higher price... they went back and forth in discussion and literally said they will not honor the price I paid. Sigh... had I know all these little rules/ policies I would have paid closer attention to the order and not trust what the cashier was doing.

I brought in a pair of boots that I had contacted customer service regarding a refund. The customer service rep informed me that he had put a note on my file and that I can just bring the item to the store and get my refund. Ingrid did not even try to help even though I explained what happened. Not only that, but she would interrupt me every time I was trying to explain what I was told by customer service. She didn't even offer to call customer service and speak to them; I had to do that and return with "proof" of the refund authorization. She didn't even come to the front to apologize or speak to me, was hiding in the back. How did she even get to be a manager, her communications and professionalism are horrible.

My friend and I dropped off our shoes for store owner Vahid on a Wednesday. He had a customer at…read morethe time but was quick to assist us as soon as he was done. Our shoes include a range of men/women shoes: Gucci loafers, Ferragamo loafers, Hermès sandals, Louboutin loafers, YSL Chelsea boots, Alexander Wang ankle boots and some other pairs of shoes. Most shoes are damaged at the bottom where the wood panel, leather bottoms or heels are wore out. One pair is more severe as the leather is detached from the sole. Vahid has done a fantastic job to give new life to the pair by patching some leather and reattaching the leather to the soles without much trace at all. Vahid is professional as he not only quickly identified the problems with each pair, he is also helpful in advising us how the shoes can be repaired and offering options for us to choose. Some shoes require new fully protected bottoms whereas some can last with just protected heels. Vahid chooses the best color to match the original shoes' bottom so that the layer is unnoticeable from the side. Overall we are very happy with Vahid's professional work!

They said the glue of the sole to the boot was really old and has expired and needs to be re-glued. I told them that they were given to me by my late mom and I am from out of town and I had to get them fixed. Normally it would take them a few days, but they were so kind that they expedited the repair and I was able to pick them up within a few hours. I am so impressed with Professional Shoe Repair. They are quick, and did an impeccable repair job. I highly recommend!

It was a bit overwhelming for me to browse, as some items were placed high up/racks packed, but this is just my personal preference. I was really impressed with the variety of ladies' Converse Chuck Taylors for about $30. The store was organized but a bit tight between the aisles. The one thing that I was NOT impressed with was the security guard watching me like a hawk. I guess they must have theft in there but it was pretty insulting.
