I purchased a Porsche Macan in June 2023 along with a warranty. Unfortunately, things did not go as smoothly as expected. Chris made an error by recording the wrong odometer reading, which caused a delay in processing the paperwork. It took nearly a month to correct the mistake, and I had to send multiple follow-up emails to get it resolved. In August, I had questions regarding the warranty coverage for my vehicle and the possibility of canceling the policy. It was extremely difficult to get a response from Chris. On average, I waited two to three weeks for a reply, and sometimes there was no response at all. Recently, I decided to cancel my warranty and reached out to Chris again. However, I was told he was busy assisting other clients. I left a message requesting a callback, but he never contacted me. I ended up canceling the warranty through another representative. Since Chris is the financial advisor at Aristocrat, I still had to deal with him for certain matters. When I inquired about the check that was mailed from the warranty company and asked him to explain the process and the actual refund amount, he couldn't provide a clear answer. Instead, he put me on hold and then hung up the phone. Throughout this entire process, it felt like Chris was either disinterested or simply didn't know what he was doing. After many attempts to reach him, we finally spoke on the phone, and I asked about the check. He told me to come pick it up at the dealership. When I inquired about the refund amount, which I expected to be around $3,000, he mentioned $1,300. I asked for an explanation, but he kept saying, "Sorry, I don't have it on me right now. I will go and check." My experience with Chris Abuhl has been one of the most frustrating in my life. As someone who works in the healthcare industry and sees nearly 30 patients daily, I question how someone with such poor communication skills and follow-through can be a financial advisor at a dealership. I have all the recordings and emails from our interactions since the day we met, and I anticipated these challenges. I hope this serves as a lesson for Chris and a warning for others. read more

I live all the way in the west coast in Beverly Hills ca. I tried negotiating with several local dealerships to which I couldn't come up to a deal with. I decided to shop for a car out of states for the first time. During my search, I stumbled upon aristocrat motors. During my negotiation, I dealt with Tony and Peyton. I offered them a price and after going back and forth a bit, they accepted my offer. I told them I'll come in person to sign the paperwork and drive the car back home. I put a small deposit down and took a flight from Los Angeles to Kansas the next day. They arranged a shuttle service to pick me up from the airport and took me to the dealership. From there, I was greeted by Tony. He showed me my new car, all clean and ready to go. Lorri took on over for finishing the paperwork. From being inside the dealership to being on my way out, it took about 10 minutes! There were no hidden fees, not once did she try to sell me or up charge me for anything! We had agreed to a price and it was a very SMOOTH and PLEASANT experience. This was Something that I've never experienced at any other dealerships before. Thank you again to Peyton, Tony and Lorri for the great experience. I purchased a new 2019 Maserati loaner car with Moe. He assured me that the car has no scratches, damages and looks "brand new". I trusted this dealership and made a purchase of 65k from out of state without seeing the car in person. The car arrived with scratches rims, botched paint job on a scratch, and scraped up rear bumber. Even the interior was dirty with hair, dirt marks in dozens of places, and water bottle cap right in the front seat cupholder. It's safe to say the car wasn't washed before being shipped? Robert Hellweg a manager promised to pay for the repairs, but a few days later got an email from him with Marion Battaglia (President) CC'd that I already accepted the car and basically "good bye". I was trying not to write a bad review but I feel the public should know about the poor customer service I received from the finance manager, Ben Jones after purchasing a brand new Porsche. He doesn't read emails or listen to his voicemails. When you call, it either goes straight to voicemail or when he picks up the phone he seems very agitated and bothered by the phone call. He does not apologize, he says "sorry you feel that way". I don't live in the area and have not been into the dealership so everything has been done over the phone and email. I mentioned to him many times that I do not normally purchase cars out of state and do not know the rules of out of state purchases. However he does not explain any of the process. I did not know that I needed the KS registration to register my car in CA. I found out after my first visit to the DMV after he yelled at me on the phone. I had to beg him for my receipt of payment for the car and extra maintenance I had to buy to buy the car which he sends with no salutation or words on the email saying the typical thank you for being a customer or we appreciate your business, nothing! It's infuriating that a company like Porsche would allow a representative of their brand treat their customers in this way. Then 3 weeks later, I finally get the KS registration with a check to the CA DMV for the sales tax I paid which was the wrong amount because he didn't care to look up my tax rate or even look at my email or listen to me on the phone. Since the amount was over what it should be, the CA DMV would not accept check and that I would need a new one. When I called of course it went to voicemail. I called an hour later again and he essentially yelled at me again that he was with a customer and would call me back when he has time. When he called back, I told him how I was treated by him and why I was upset, and he says "yeah, we never clicked". I honestly don't ask for much in terms of customer service. I just would like some basic courtesy and professionalism and a little guidance for something that he does everyday. I took my Porsche Cayenne in for a transmission oil change and when I arrived to pick up my car, I saw a huge oil spot on the ground under my car. I had them take the car back and they found that the mechanic cracked my transmission pan when reinstalling it. had I not seen the spot I would have drove away and destroyed my car. When I returned they told me I had a weak starter and wanted $1800 to replace it. I went to start my car and found the battery was dead not the starter. They had to jump start my car. There is nothing wrong with my starter and it is a brand new battery. Today I did an oil change on the car and found that they did not reinstall several bolts on my skid pan. I will never go back there. You would think with the price they charhe They would have better service. read more

Edited 11/10/19 - Back to one star, and here is why... I own a 2014 GLK 350 in Mars Red. Back in 2018, during the end of the original full warranty period, I noticed that my paint was starting to blister. I did some research and found many others who were reporting the same issue, specifically with Mars Red / Fire Opal paint colors. So I did what anyone would do and contacted Mercedes about the issue, with the assumption was that they stood behind their warranty and cards. (I think you know where this is going). I contacted Mercedes USA directly because dealerships can be kind of sketchy about dealing with this stuff. They told me to take my car to a certified paint shop, get and estimate and then take it to the dealership for their representatives to look at, which I did. Long story short, they got together and decided to give me the figurative finger, telling me this was not a big enough issue to warrant doing anything. Now, about 1.5 years on, my entire car is covered in paint blisters, so much it almost sparkles in the sun. To make things worse, if a wet leaf falls on my car for just a couple hours then it will leave a permanent white blotch on the clear coat. Mercedes should have fixed this. The dealership should have fixed this. They should have stood behind their warranty. There have been class action lawsuits filed over this issue, so I am not an outlying case here. I used to truly love my car, but this has been the worst car owning experience ever, and I've owned a classic Fiat if that tells you anything. Pictures below of what a Mercedes factory paint job looks like. No polite call from the service center is going to fix this issue so please don't bother Aristocrat. You should know better, and your handling of this with MB USA was shameful. ------- previous review ------- Originally one star, but revised up thanks to a courteous call from the dealership. Would have saved me a few grand had they been identified while still under warranty, but unfortunately it didn't happen that way. CUSTOMERS BEWARE Love my 2020 Range Rover but really hate the fact that this is my choice of where I have to take it for service. First, I made my appointment for an oil change with a loaner 2 months in advance and they called me a week before my service to tell me they over booked and have to reschedule then i come in the next week and they said they can't provide a loaner, when I work and can't be without my vehicle, so l had to leave and reschedule again. Then they text me the day before my service and tell me they have to reschedule, AGAIN. I called 4 or 5 times before I got a hold of anyone and then they said i can come on in for my scheduled appointment with a loaner. I go drop it off and they said it will take 2 days. No one mentioned anything about me having to fill up my loaner with gas but they took $50 deposit in case of damages. Later after i get my car back i was only refunded $29. Confused, I called them for an answer and the receptionist said it's because i didn't fill it with gas. No one EVER said to put gas in it, i've serviced my cars at multiple dealerships in the past, including Audi, and never was charged for gas. I didn't even drive the loaner that much. Especially not after paying $160 for just an oil change. I tried to get ahold of my service advisor Nathan, but got a voicemail. She proceeded to transfer me to 4 different people but i never got an answer. Eventually the receptionist stopped answering my call clearly because they have caller ID and knew I wanted to speak with someone. They answered on the first or second ring typically but now when I call all it does is ring and ring. Aristocrat Land Rover is trash and DO NOT CARE about their customers. He was so accomodating to me and my wife, showing us all the features of the car and assisted us in setting up numerous tech features along the way. The entire process for this beautiful vehice was the easiest car purchase I have ever endured. Endured? Because usually buying a new car is like a root canal. This was pure Bliss. Initially I took my very nice 2005 Jaguar XKR convertible into Aristocrat's Jaguar Service for a recharge of the A/C system on which their shop performed well and the system is now cooling fine. However that was the end of that success. Upon "inspection" several items were "found" to be in need of repair one of which was the replacement of the oil cooler although the engine oil level has never dropped or has there ever been any oil dripping from the garage floor. The estimated cost for this was $2,700! On this I did receive an estimated cost from another shop of less than $1,000, i.e. 2/3 less! The other items that I was told were needed to be addressed were suspension wear issues and an alignment. A service appointment was made. Upon picking up the car from Aristocrat, I heard a loud screeching noise that had not been present prior to dropping the car off. the noise had developed while at Aristocrat after 18 years, but with one day at their shop. "Bring it back in." The noise was diagnosed as the left wheel bearing needs replaced. So this was scheduled for a week + later. Picking the car up after the (assumed) bearing replacement, one short drive around the parking lot easily revealed this screeching had not been reduced at all. So, the car remained at Aristocrat and this and other issues such as control arm busings were replaced. The recommendation was that the control arm itself needed to be replaced, but wasn't as this "OEM part was no longer available." In doubt, I went online and in 10 minutes (!) and found a wide choice of the part, some new, some used. Aristocrat coulnd't be bothered to do the same! My total bill for these fiascos was nearly $4,000 with over nearly a month period and seven trips back and forth to Aristocrat! Tony Tutera, the Jaguar/Land Rover Service Advisor is a pleasant young man, but never lacked for excuses (lame) for the incompetence of the technical staff. They either are stupid or think I am, probably the latter! However, on a positive note we have had some excellent service on our MB S 550 when Rodney Parker was the Mercedes Service Advisor and now on our Porsche where Mr. Parker is now the Porsche Service Manager. My MB dealer back in Chicago should take a page or two, or heck, they should take the whole book from Artistocrat Motors as they treat you with respect from the second you pull up into their driveway. I hate going for service calls on my MB almost as much as I hate going to the dentist. I'll admit it. I don't know much about cars but I expect mine to be dependable and I expect those who service it to be upfront and honest about what service the car needs and doesn't need. The service team at Aristocrat Motors was great during my recent service visit. I was warmly greeted and given it was my first time here, when I asked where to park, I was directed to the proper spot without the condescending attitude I expected. My service guy was running a little behind but no problem as one of his colleagues stepped in, got me set up, asked if there were any additional problems with the car and then sent me on my way. And then, a woman named Jayne, was super gracious and showed me to where I could wait for my colleague who was picking me up. Seriously? When does that level of service ever happen? And throughout the service, I got texts that kept me updated along the way. Even better? When my meeting ran late, and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get back before the service department closed, my service advisor sent me payment options by text and told me where he would leave me car. Easy peasy. In today's age of technology, word of mouth advertising sometimes gets lost in the shadow of on line reviews and on line surveys. We went for a Charity event that Aristocrat puts on each summer to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank. On this day, from 11-2pm, the dealership pays for all food from (today) six food trucks. Attendees buy tickets for $2 per plate. Not having ever eaten from a Food Truck kitchen, this was a time of education and making new friends. The truck kitchen staffs were very professional, handling probably 200+ people efficiently and courteously in a very short time. The foods are according to the 'theme' of the truck and in this case the themes available were: Tacos/Tex-Mex; Asian; BBQ (it's KC of course); Cajun; Sliders and the singular 'Sweet Truck' by 3 Women and an Oven. Aristocrat provided plenty of often replenished free bottled waters! Thank you! The last food truck mentioned above (3 Women) was the most popular of all because if you wanted food--you had five choices, if you wanted sweet tastes, you had one. Unfortunately, they sold out of all of the cupcakes they had by the time we had stood in line (that happens with any food truck--often just in front of you prior to being waited on) so not wanting a smoothy or coffee, we passed on visiting them. Lovely surroundings with Maserati's, Mercedes, BMW's and the like providing scenery, and a well organized and executed event was enjoyed by all! We purchased a GLA 45 from Aristocrat Motors a couple years ago. The buying expierence was excellent. Since then all I have dealt with is the service department and I am not nearly as impressed with their service. A while back we had an issue with a flat tire. Come to find out they don't maintain service consumables for our vehicle. Took 5 days to get a tire in and we still don't have a replacement fix-a-flat bottle. We have only had to take it in for a couple services. On both instances, I have called to schedule the service displayed in the car, only to get there and be told there is other maintenance that needs to be completed and since I didn't mention that I would have to reschedule. Most recently it was Service A for the vehicle, evidently the vehicle also needs a transmission fluid change that isn't part of Service A (likely because it is 1,100 dollars for for a transmission service at 30k miles). So that didn't get completed and I now have to schedule another trip to their service center or take it somewhere else (more likely) to get it completed. Another tip. Don't bother calling on the weekend. I called on a Saturday the weekend prior to when I wanted to schedule the work and never got through to anyone and just had to leave a message. After a couple days it was obvious I wasn't going to get a call back so I had to call them again and work their phone tree just to set up a partial service. read more

They consistently try to worm their way out of fixing warrantee work. They come up with all kinds of excuses why things are not covered. I don't recommend buying anything from them! I purchased a Porsche Carrera a few years ago. It still makes me mad when I think of it. I was driving a Mercedes SUV at the time. Loved it, in great condition and very very low miles, like under 40,000 and it was a 2010. Anyway, I went in with my best friend and I was not even looking for a car. anyway, she test drove an awesome get up and go one and I did as well. Then I thought if I get a good deal with my trade, I may trade and get this car for my husband. It was awesome. So we got the deal together. My husband and I went the next day to pick it up. This was A surprise for him. Our salesman, who for some reason I think was named Paul. One of the guys that dealt with me I believe was that name, and he had the first office on left I believe. Never once did he say now this is a different Carrera or this one doesn't have the options the other one did. No, I sat there and asked him about some of the great options on the one I drove the day before and he said oh yeah, this has all that. Just what you wanted. Of course he told us everything we wanted to hear. I though he said either he or his family owned the dealership. Then I belive the guy that came out congratulate us said he was, totally nice and like the other would do anything we need, if not happy, call them and we will work it out or ... So at that time, I was so happy my husband had that car, that we got in it to go home. I kept getting this feeling and then things weren't on it that was supposed to be, etc. I told my husband this is not the right car. He switched to this one. So we started making phone calls. Of course, they sold my Mercedes immediately so I could not get it back and everything there and on the Mercedes side cost a lot and didn't want to do that after I just, wanted my car back or one just like it or the porche we were supposed to have gotten. This salesman had or has been there forever, so he was really good at his sales pitch. All kinds of awards. Well, when I called him back, he didn't answer or return calls for 3-4 days, so I wrote to them and said I thought he did a bait and switch. Trust me, I know car salesmen. Then said he needed to get with the other guy. Days went by. Then when I finally got to the other guys, Oh I'm sorry, but time has expired because you have had it for and he salesman said oh no, this is the car you wanted. I knew better. So needless to say, I got it royally. I didn't want a downgrade from what I wanted and since they took all my 40,000 trade and any downpayment otherwise I may have done, which I doubt I did, I lose it all. I hated this Porche and every time I got in it, all I could think about was the lies they told and promises they didn't keep. This was an expensive buy. Got caught up in it. But still to this day, I think I deserved better service. I am a very nice person and my husband is even nicer and we don't like getting the shaft. looks like he may no longer be there because I don't see his picture on their site. I don't remember if Chuck was the manager or whatever you call the guys that comes out shaking hands after the sale. Terrible service, I had been calling for weeks about an issue my brand new Mercades and they finally called back and said there is nothing they will do. I absolutely hate the service. The salesman was great and answered my calls when I was shopping for my car but what happens down the line is terrible quality. read more
