I was messaging the salesman, Gabriel, about the car details, when to arrange a time to come up to see it, even the possibility of trading in my car. I was able to exchange messages with him on 08/14 and he asked for the info about my current car so that he could look about a possible trade-in. I gave him the information with no response. On Friday 08/15, I was trying to confirm a time to be able to come up to take a look at (and buy) the car. I wasn't getting any response throughout the day, so finally I called a few of the numbers listed on their site. I was able to speak to a man who said that Gabriel was off of work that day, but he would let him know I called, and said I could come by on Saturday 08/16. On Saturday morning, I got a text from Gabriel at 10am and asked if I could come up there at about 4:00pm. He said that would work great and gave me the address to come to. I left Springfield (200 miles away) to be able to arrive up there even before 04:00pm. I was halfway there, and at 02:01pm, he texted me and said that he was just informed that one of the other sales people sold the vehicle half an hour ago. So I called to confirm this with him that it was actually finalized and sold and he said when he went to get the keys for it to bring it around to be ready for me to check out, he was told another salesman sold it. I told him I had already driven half way up there. He said "Oh yeah, sorry. Safe travels home." I completely understand making sales and getting money ASAP, and I understand if other people were buying the car -- what I am upset about is that I drove more than halfway to Kansas City before being texted that the car had sold with basically zero regard for the fact I had been trying to communicate about this car for several days and set up a specific time to come up. I know there's always a "risk" someone will buy it before I am able to. The lack of communication throughout my entire experience with them was so poor and they almost acted as if I was an inconvenience to be calling and asking questions. I had to call/text 5 different numbers before I could even get a response from anyone. Then the communication with Gabriel was very limited. Had to call a different person on Friday just to make sure it was still good for me to come up on Saturday. Re-confirmed with Gabriel on Saturday that I should come up there and he said yes, that was a "perfect time" for him -- only to be texted that it sold after I had driven over 100 miles to go see it. Extremely disappointed in the customer service, lack of communication, and very little regard for my time, when I arranged an appointment and had to travel in order to go up there, only to be met with a casual text of "it sold". If they aren't communicating well with you, just don't even bother with this place. They clearly didn't care about a potential customer who was going to be paying them thousands of dollars for a car. Do better by people, because this was ridiculous.

I discovered HAWK Auto as I was looking for a used hybrid sedan online and found a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid in excellent condition. I called the number listed in the ad and Sean (co-owner) responded to my voicemail within the day. I must admit, at first I was hesitant about this dealership which was simply warranted by appearances of the facility, which are rugged and more shop-oriented. However, the associates and owners at HAWK have a high level of integrity which is shown through their excellent customer service, the quality of vehicles they choose to carry, the extremely high level of product knowledge, and their desire to build relationships with each of their customers. Sean & Mario both were willing to spend the required time with my wife & I to ensure our questions were fully satisfied and that we were comfortable with the transaction. At no time did we feel pressured to make a purchase, nor were we made to feel like we were a burden when our due diligence took longer than might be typical. My experience listed here is most definitely worthy of a high review, but the extra-ordinary aspect of my experience with HAWK comes in to play several months following the purchase of the vehicle. The title of the purchased vehicle was delivered via certified mail the very week I was moving houses and tragically became misplaced. After months of looking through papers & boxes, we deemed the title lost. Unfortunately, the vehicle had not been registered and now we had to get a replacement title. After contacting the DOT, the insurance company and the lien holder, all counsel suggested the dealer would have to request a replacement title. What made this extremely difficult was HAWK purchased the vehicle through an auction house in GA, who purchased the vehicle from a leasing agent in FL. Each transfer in ownership was hand-written on the title, so the last recorded registration was still in FL. In order to get the replacement title, Sean was required to spend a tremendous amount of time researching, tracking down involved parties, and initiating on my behalf the request for replacement title. This process spanned many months, involving multiple hours of work on HAWK's part in order to remedy the issue, and Sean was always quick to respond and very professional with each correspondence. At no time was I ever made to feel like I was a nuisance or inconvenience, which I know this issue must have been a large source of frustration for Sean. I do not know of many used dealers that would have put in the time and effort for a single customer who had already made a purchase. This, to me, goes way above and beyond the typical expectations of a used dealer and Sean has demonstrated his dedication to me as a customer. For that I cannot give him a high enough rating and I will always go to HAWK Auto for all of my used vehicle needs in the future.

It was at Country Hill Motors in Merriam, KS, so I reached out. I found all staff members, from sales representative Debra to financier Jason, to be exceptional. They provided remote vehicle videos and overnighted all necessary documentation, which constituted a truly first-class operation. They were a five-star company across all aspects of their business! They also maintain a 90-day policy; if any issues arise with the vehicle, it can be returned, and all necessary repairs will be covered -- unheard of in my experience! But simply means, they genuinely stand behind their products, which ultimately led me to choose them as my preferred dealership. Consequently, I entrusted them with my business. Given that they are located in Kansas and I reside in Washington, DC, they recommended a reasonably priced shipping company that provided a white-glove delivery service. Upon receiving the vehicle, it was more beautiful and impressive in person than it appeared online. As I had purchased it sight unseen, I brought it to a local Land Rover dealership for a comprehensive 300-point inspection, which revealed three minor issues. Since Country Hill Motors offered to cover repairs within 90 days, Jason suggested utilizing the bumper-to-bumper extended warranty that he had recommended during the purchase. Jason expertly negotiated and handled all warranty claims with the warranty company on my behalf, which he certainly didn't have to do. The level of service was exceptional, exceeding all of my prior experiences. His actions were truly above and beyond, and the warranty company covered all expenses without issue. Jason, Debra, and Country Hill Motors are all remarkable, and I wish I could rate them even higher than five stars. With over four decades of experience in purchasing vehicles and nearing my sixtieth year, I can unequivocally state that this dealership surpasses all others I have encountered. Their performance has left a lasting impression, prompting me to provide a review that accurately reflects their outstanding service. Waited a month later and bought the bike for a lower price Bought the bike and ride it home and immediately notice a oil puddle on the driveway also was leaking from the front left caliper. I did check for oil leaks and touch the bottom of the bike to see if it had oil there the first time I checked out the bike.

I know very little about cars, but I do know and appreciate working with a good salesperson. I can promise, if you walk into Hendricks Toyota and ask to work with Alijah N. you'll have a great experience! He is a sales person who really knows the product, he knows how to talk to people, and communicates information clearly. Plus if you are stuck at the car lot all day, he is genuinely an enjoyable person to spend the day with. He was so nice in fact, as we pulled away, after being there for a long 5 hours, I joked to myself, we should probably add Alijah to our Christmas card list. He took the time to answer all of my 80 year old Mom's questions. He treated her with respect and kindness the entire day and honestly was a "great host" to us- offering tea to warm up or a drink of bottled water. He stayed late to set up her phone to the car, which I'm sure is not uncommon, but then he impressed me once more. He was holding my Mom's phone, showing her how it works with her new car and he noticed the phone beeped. He must have someone in his family with diabetes, because he instantly knew the alert was my Mom's blood sugar monitor and without skipping a beat, he politely offered to get her a snack. I thought it was so nice that he acknowledged it, instantly offered a solution, and did it all without making it a big deal or making my Mom feel uncomfortable. The guy is a class act and a great salesman to work with. If you are in the market for a Toyota, check out Alijah N at Hendricks. There was a 2nd guy at Toyota who ensured we had a really positive experience at Hendricks. His name tag said, Anthony but he introduced himself as A.J., I believe he is a manager, he is one of the guys they have sitting in the office zone who come out and negotiate when necessary. I ended up seeing AJ twice over my Mom and I's "car shopping week". Honestly, I probably gave him a bit of a hard time the first day, I'm weary of people ripping off my Mom, so guards up. But A.J. won me over by the end, I felt he was genuinely doing what he could on price to earn her business. He seems like a go-getter, a hard working type who really is putting in the effort to build up return clientele for the business. He seemed honest, and not nearly as swarmy as so many sales guys you meet. Since you'll see him several times a year, after buying a car from them (oil changes, tire rotations), I think it's good to feel like there is a manager who wants to help you out where he can. I feel like, if we have a problem down the road, at least there is a manager there I can call who will help make things right. So, 5 stars for Hendricks Toyota for the experience I had with Alijah N. and A.J.

Another employee handed me my invoice, and I noticed that I had been billed significantly more than I anticipated. I mentioned that my initial quote was considerably lower. The employee reviewed my invoice and confirmed that I should not have been charged for certain items. I was billed an excess of $400 beyond the original quotation. Furthermore, the final invoice differed from the initial estimate. Consequently, I was highly dissatisfied and contemplated ceasing any further transactions at this facility.
