The car is great the dealer should never be used!

Fraud is their middle name. Get everything in writing. Do not trust them. Check the tires! I bought a Lexus and paid $900 to fix the tires. Bought a Macan and said going to return it if they don't fix it. Promise they would and did not. They are lying of say anything for the deal. Dishonest to the core. 2 times same movie. Taking them to small claims court. I recorded all the promises but I should have just bought from somewhere reputable

Overland Park Imports

We purchased our sons first Truck from OverlandPark Imports had an amazing experience Jon was super…read morehelpful with the purchase process. This is our second vehicle we have bought from them .

I saw a TT for sale on their website that looked very clean with low mileage. I contacted Jon who…read moreresponded and explained the car had been gone over by his mechanic and it was "like a new car." I explained I'd be traveling from the east coast to see it so wanted to make sure I was comfortable making the trip. I asked if he had taken It out for a drive and if his mechanic had gone over the car thoroughly. He responded "yes." I put a deposit down to hold the vehicle and arranged my trip. I called a coupe days before arrival and Jon explained that the car was with the mechanic. He had replaced the turbo. I asked If I could see the work order and parts list upon arrival. He agreed. I arrived, met Jon who said he had been in there easy last summer, on the Cape to visit with his sister and would be again this summer. He then said he visited Nantucket, (not the cape) and saw JD Vance while there. I responded by saying, "well he's not very popular here on Nantucket. Did you see the protests?" He said nothing. I took the car out for a drive. The car looked good - as described: no obvious body work etc. On my drive I hit fifty mph and the steering wheel began to shake so decreased speed. I pulled over and reentered the highway. At 60 mph I felt the shake in my seat and the pedals. At 75 the cars entire front end shook. I then noticed a hum from the left rear wheel that increased in volume and intensity as speed increased. I pulled over to see if there were any obvious signs of a balancing weight have fallen off a wheel, looked under the car and looked under the hood. No obvious weights were missing but did notice the air intake assembly was partially dissembled (I put it back together) and the engine cover was missing. I got back in the car and noticed that the paddle shifters did not work - both were broken. I returned to the dealer and explained the shimmy, rear hum, missing engine cover, and the paddle shifters. Jon's demeanor changed and said "well the wheels probably just need to be balanced." I said I understood but it's also possible it could be a half shaft, CV's etc. I said you misrepresented the vehicles condition and asked "Did you actually drive it?" He said he had, in the parking lot. Then said "what the hell do you need the paddle shifters for, who the uses those?" His co worker spoke up and said "I do." Jon turned and said "you want your deposit back?" I explained I wanted offers of solutions to the problems, and said that he had misrepresented the cars condition. I said I was dissapointed that he was another used car salesmen who was not truthful. He became agitated and said "you're from Boston your an asshole, everyone from Boston is an asshole" And then let loose a diatribe including the most bizarre comment: Why I would want such a cheap car anyway, you probably don't have any money" I responded with "welcome to Kansas" and left. I should have read the reviews on this platform before making that call. Apparently this is common at Overland Park, definitely not a professional establishment where one can expect transparency and honesty. They are not a BBB certified business, not the end all but sometimes a good barometer of a businesses commitment to ethical service. Don't bother.
