Traducir en español! Falta de respeto y cuidado al paciente…read more Bad bad experience with Dr. Silvia Unprofessional, lack of care for patient, attitude when asked for advice or help. Avoid this location at all times! I came in to remove facial warts and was assisted by Dr. Silvia and her medical assistant. As soon as I walked in to speak to Dr. Silvia, without hearing out the patient and their concerns, she scoffed and went on how bad my skin is. Is this their sales tactic? Rough care? After she went on about what's wrong with my skin WITHOUT ASKING ANY QUESTIONS regarding my skin care besides the use of sunscreen, She assumed I must work under the sun. When I told her I in fact did not, she gave off her recommended list of treatments which I agreed to move forward with trusting her knowledge. As soon as she walked out of the room, I asked her sweet assistant what treatment they suggest I should start with. To this, she responded that the order of treatments did not matter and I could pick whichever one I wish to get done today. I said to move on with the wart removal. Minutes later once the room was set up to start the procedure, walked in Dr. Silvia suggesting I start off with the most expensive treatment first and pay upfront 2 sessions. This gives an incredibly unprofessional and deceiving look to the facility. With the last faith I have on the establishments values, I ignored it, told her no, to start with the warts and moved on. Once again excusing Dr. Silvia's lack of customer care and service. The tipping point and what pushed me to write this review is the astonishing lack of care for their patients. I informed Dr. Silvia anesthesia does not react as intended with me. I got no answer from her. As she kept injecting anesthesia on different facial points, I kept insisting it hurt and that during my last visits they've had to use another solution. Her answer: silence again. I might as well could be talking to the wall behind her. After even more complaining from the pain, she scoffed and said "how can it not work? if you can't deal with this you won't be able to deal with anything else". MIND YOU!!!! i've gotten proper attention regarding this issue with every member but her. Since she was not speaking back, I took it on and left. She is there twice a week one day being Wednesday. It's astonishing how rude she was when other Drs at this facility have gone out of their way to solve this issue BUT HER. I would never suggest this place again, specially coming from a business who targets spanish-speaking clients. Ahórrense la molestia y sugiero ir a un establecimiento reputable. Al comparar el servicio de los dermatólogos o doctores, es impresionante la diferencia

This practice has gone downhill tremendously within the last year. I was a patient of Dr. Hurd's…read morefor 8 years and occasionally would see Dr. Patel for things as well. A few months ago I went to urgent care for this chronic neck pain I was having. After doing some x-rays, the urgent care doctor said I need to go to physical therapy and have my PCP send in the referral. 4-5 days later, Dr. Hurd finally sent in my referral. After a month of physical therapy, my physical therapist requested additional visits since the insurance only gave me 7. The insurance approved more visits and just needed a signature from Dr. Hurd so I can continue with my physical therapy. It literally took her 5 days for just a signature. I also had to cancel my physical therapy appointment that week because we (me and the physical therapist) were all waiting on Dr. Hurd to take 5 seconds to sign a form. Last month I needed to pick up a lab order from Dr. Patel for not just annual bloodwork but also hormonal as well. I had already been communicating with Dr. Patel through the portal about it and she told me she would put the order though. I get to the office the day before my appointment to pick up the lab order and the front desk girls (who also rude and dismissive. The other girls who used to work there were so nice and friendly) tell me that Dr. Patel didn't send it. Just ONE lab, not the whole thing. I told them I can't reschedule my lab appointment because of it being hormonal bloodwork (and fasted too) and Dr. Patel said that it has to be done on a certain day of my cycle. And also, my naturopathic doctor (who Dr. Patel knew I saw for my condition too) was going to be reviewing the results with me in a few weeks and she has no openings for 3 months! Dr. Patel wasn't in the office that day but Dr. Hurd was. I asked the girls at the front desk if she could write up my labs and I can pick them up before the end of the day before they close. They just gave me attitude and told me to go write Dr. Hurd on the portal and there's no guarantee that she would get to my message today. Seeing how it already took 5 days for Dr. Patel to just sign a form, I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with her or her unhelpful staff. I went to Scripps urgent care just as a last resort to see if maybe they could somehow do my bloodwork and they said they don't do that kind of bloodwork there but they told me that my doctor is negligent and I should fire her. Well, I did exactly that. I went on my insurance's website and decided to join the Scripps network and found a new PCP and was able to get in the very next morning with her NP and I was able to get the bloodwork I needed (which was super convenient because the lab was just one floor up from the PCP's office. No more dealing with LabCorp and their long wait times). A month later Dr. Hurd's office calls me about collecting money for their medical records release fee. I told them that they never told me there was a fee and that also Scripps requested the records a month ago! This office as a whole just doesn't give two $#!+ about their job or the patients and it really shows. Run, don't walk away from this practice! I got treated so much better by EVERYONE over at Scripps.

I have never felt like he didn't respond, wasn't thorough or hadn't covered everything he and I intended for a given appointment. After scores of Doctors in LA, multiple surgeries and no end in sight to my dilemma, Dr. Lawrence didn't get all full of his own ego and promise the world; rather he said he hoped to be able to resolve my pain and promised he'd make me healthier. And that is the key, it is about health not sickness. It is about t-h-r-i-v-i-n-g, not just getting by. I write with certainty that I would not feel as good as I do as I write this, had I not joined the Revive practice. I recommend you do what you have to do and go through all the specialists your own doctors send you to, but when you are fed up with being treated because you are sick, go get healthy with Dr. Lawrence. Health is a great starting point!

Within the last few months, I feel like I've seen a different side of her and her office. And it's not positive. I'm a self-pay patient and have been since the beginning of my time with Doctor Olafson. I've stated it in every visit I've had with her. Recently, she keeps telling me that my prescription isn't "covered" and neglected to do her research when ordering blood tests, making sure I could afford them. Although I made a following appointment with her last year for this current year, her office asked me whether or not I had made an annual appointment for a follow up and I had to tell them, that yes, I did. So, somewhere, someone isn't doing their job and I am falling through the cracks. I no longer feel heard or that I matter to Doctor Olafson and her staff. I will be looking elsewhere for care.
