I had come to aria spa via a small package that my daughter got for me. After moving from Sterling to Arlington and just having a really busy life and work schedule I wasn't able to come in on a regular basis. I called quite a few times and was assured that my spa balance with be intact and I wouldn't lose any of my services. Recently when I reached out to check on their hours so that I could schedule a treatment I was told that some of my treatments that I purchased were no longer available they had expired and that they had been expired for quite some time. That was news to me and really disappointing. I've had quite a hard time getting in contact with anyone to resolve this matter completely. I definitely would have used Up any services that I thought had an expiration on them. It just seems pretty tricky. read more

I had a wonderful experience with the Detox Spa Day Package. Joel was a great guide and masseuse, walking me through every step of the day and ensuring I stayed hydrated. I'll definitely be returning for future services! Can't recommend enough! read more

They teach their front desk people to overcharge (this happened more than once)... I finally inquired about it and the owner gaslighted me and said it was me who didn't remember how much I tipped. I have all the receipts. The employees I worked with are great but the customer service and management are not. Update: the management is sending me private messages about why I'm trying to damage their business with this review instead of talking to them first. What I said is 100% true and I did try to speak to them. I'm writing this in case they try to make a public response to me. :-) read more

Aria's entrance is through the parking lot next to the Countryside McDonalds. It is part of a medical office building and has a new/clean/clinical doctors feeling (medi-spa. get it?). I always go to Navan for my facials here. She knows her stuff and can recommend great treatments for my skin type. You'll receive the most thorough extractions you've ever had in your life from her. You're getting the help that you're paying for -- don't be afraid of a little pain. But also do speak up if you tend to scar easily in certain spots. I think I developed 2-3 new permanent blood spots. My skin has been doing much better since I've been going for regular facials. I've been busy but have been meaning to schedule a chemical peel with her next time I get a break from work. The clock starts as soon as you enter the room, not when they start your treatment on the table. So show up early / on time! If anything goes wrong (like your specialist doesn't show up), they'll admit their faults and make it up to you. I really appreciate that instead of making excuses like some people will. read more

I booked a massage and facial over the phone a few weeks after covid restrictions had lifted -- came prepared with my mask, they took my temperature, everything was going well until they took me to a room and without warning pricked my finger with a lancet. The woman who did this couldn't explain why she was doing it outside of saying that she "had to", and couldn't even explain what the test was. When I showed that I wasn't comfortable with what she was doing, she mocked me by asking if I had children and that it was nowhere near as bad as that. I'm needle and blood-phobic, so this woman squeezing the life out of my finger to get blood to come out was an unnerving experience to say the least. She told me she had to get more blood and was trying to prick again but at that point I was in so much shock I left. I was never told there would be a test where they'd have to take blood (is that even safe or legal in a spa??) otherwise I wouldn't have come in the first place. It wasn't until I googled it later that this was for a covid antibody test, but this is NOT a doctor's office (they didn't even have bandaids to put on my finger) and I did not give consent to do it. read more

Great quick check in and people were friendly. Clean and nicely done spa. I will go back for other services.

I have been a client of Aria MediSpa for four years and have loved all of the services I have had which include facials, massages, permanent make up and body scrubs. It is a beautiful spa and Valeria and Jacob, the owners, are very nice. The staff is very skilled. I had not been to the spa for several months due to COVID and was a little nervous to go back. I had a facial with Melanie which was wonderful. I could not have felt more safe with the precautions they took. The spa is always immaculate however, everyone was in masks, they did temperature checks and required a rapid COVID test for just $25. I'm so happy I went and immediately scheduled facials for my daughter and granddaughter with Melanie and Stephanie. They loved theirs also. I highly recommend Aria MediSpa and it's staff and look forward to my next appointment. read more

This is truly the best spa in NoVa! I go there all the time. They have great services starting from custom facials to body fat reducing treatments. The day spa packages are the best. Aria is a magical place in every way. I go primarily for the hot yoga classes, which are exceptional. I've been a yoga teacher for 13 years, and it's hard to find a studio that is aesthetically beautiful, peaceful and spacious with experienced, knowledgeable and kind teachers and a community that feels like home. Aria does it all and beyond. Such a gem! read more

My third visit to the spa ( very convenient location) . The facilities are nice and clean, reception is friendly and accommodating. The first visit ways for a massage which was not bad by any means, I would give it 7 out of 10. I was a member of massage envy for 3 years and I would say only one or two therapists there were better. Went for facial and bochka treatment last weekend. Loved the waiting room. Actually considering getting a membership read more

Their yoga studio is beautiful with pink salt walls and soft lighting. The teachers are very welcoming too. I love the medispa and have tried a variety of services. Highly recommend the Nirvana Spa Day and their green smoothie! In fact, I could really go for each of those today! read more

Lovely spa. I was escorted to the salt room to wait, which was 5 minutes at most. The salt room was very relaxing and set the stage for my treatment. I met with Valaria who applied permanent lip liner and color to my lips. She spent a great deal of time with me to understand what I was looking for before getting started. I love the results. Valaria has a passion for her craft and it comes across in the work she performs. I highly recommend her services and the spa. read more

Every time I have gone it has been a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I highly recommend them.

The technicians who provided my services were phenomenal. With that said what I experienced yesterday was unnecessary and disrespectful as a first time customer. While sitting in the waiting room, there is was a massage chair in there and myself and my friend attempt to use it. An employee (who I believe cleans the building) comes in the waiting room yelling and saying this chair you have to pay. I said I didn't realize that and I got off. At that time we were the only group of 5 black women in the facility. Another employee (individual who was working front desk) came in and apologized for her behavior. We as a group went on with our services, I go take my shower then begin to blow dry my hair. One cleaning lady comes in and walks right back out. The same woman who was previously yelling at us proceeds to interrogate me...what is going on? It stinks! You need to open the door! Customers will think it stinks! Now I'm upset because I told her I'm blow drying my hair like any paid customer have the right to do. If it's not allowed the remove your dryers. She still kept talking! At that point I walked out as she follows me and I walk straight to her manager and explained to him what happened. All he says is I'll talk to her. No apology was given. I was completely irate by the situation. We talk about equity as a society and yet we continue to fail to meet that mark every time! Gentleman at the front desk discounted our services but by then the damage was done. I came to the facility to reduce stress and anxiety and I left worse than I came in. I recommend folks drive to Middleburg, VA to Salamander Resort which is Black own and they know how to treat people better than this place! read more

I had a spa day with the ladies and it was the best. My friend booked us for a package deal. It was my first time getting a body scrub and body wrap. My skin felt so amazing afterwards. I fell asleep during the body wrap. It was so relaxing. I love the little snacks and drinks they have set up. When you first walk in, you can tell it's well kept. The lobby is clean. When they take you back to the lounge area, it's as though you've walked into another world. The place is beautifully decorated and the ambience is great. I plan on going back again. read more

Let me start by saying the services I received were great. The massage therapist was so nice. But through the entire massage, I heard the owner and other workers yelling in the hallway, enough that the therapist had to ask them to be quite several times. The receptionist was incredibly rude, telling me it was an inconvience to use care credit when they have signs everywhere offering it. I felt rushed, and it was an overall terrible experience. Update: Your esthetician did nothing wrong, she was 100% professional despite having to work in difficult conditions. And when you called me, you told me you fired the receptionist? So I have no idea why you are now defending them? I'm not really interested in whether someone is a mother, but rather the service they give in their job. Your response makes your business look worse. I gave you a chance to correct things, but you would rather be rude. read more

I was solicited with an overwhelming amount of email notifications. Amongst visiting with my wife, our experience was terrible. Nothing made sense, there was confusion from the minute we stepped into the facility. No one seemed to care about any sort of customer service, just taking our money. I'm not sure exactly which massage package we had, but it was truly not memorable. I will not be returning to this facility. I have requested to be unsubscribed from their email list serve, yet somehow they continue to solicit me. All in all- the emails seemed too good to be true, and they were. This place is not passion or product driven, simply customer hungry. Literally. read more

One of my favorite spas! I have been going here since they opened and they have expanded greatly since then. The variety of services are vast and outstanding. The Venik Sauna experience is definitely different but exhilarating. I recently had a cryofacial that left my skin glowing and line-free. They have amazing spa packages at reasonable costs and the best thing is they accommodate groups, which is fabulous as we usually celebrate birthdays and special occasions, they provide lunch, smoothies and other libations to celebrate. My friend and I have gone often and are now thinking about just making it our monthly ritual so we can try all of the services! You won't be disappointed, the owners are amazing, staff is great, experience is wonderful! The decor is stunning and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing! Salt room is everything! read more

Loved yoga studio, walls made of himalayan salt are amazing, especially when practicing hot yoga.

I had the best day ever at ARIA MediSpa today! I booked two Premium Winter Escape Day packages for my daughter and I on 12/8. We loved all of the services which included the 60 minute Venik experience (you must try this!!), the mineralizing Moroccan 45 minute body scrub, 60 minute massage, the body mask wrap with scalp and foot massage and we enjoyed relaxing in the salt room for 30 minutes in which we received a reflexology foot massage and paraffin treatment. I highly recommend taking advantage of the day spa special! I'm asking Santa for another visit! The staff are phenomenal and very friendly. Great place to go during the winter months...and close to home! read more

This is now my go to spa! I've been here four times and have yet to be disappointed. The first three times were with Valeria. She did a chemical peel, blemish facial and my first treatment of ematrix for acne scar removal. Each showed an improvement on my skin. Her facial was AMAZING, I was so relaxed and she really took care of me. I came back for my second treatment of ematrix and was booked with Zula. She was just as great! She took the time to examine my skin and complimented on how well I was reacting to the treatment. The treatment is a little painful but well worth it. I used to have really bad acne and suffered acne scars for many years. I tried EVERYTHING and with a new skincare routine, I haven't seen better improvements. I was told that it usually takes 4-5 treatments depending on my skin until it's flawless. Lastly, the spa itself is extremely nice and clean with a zen feeling. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back and I'm so glad it's down the street from me! read more

It was my first time at this spa. The decoration was pretty and customer service was good. However, I got a facial done here (sensitive facial) and I enjoyed it during the service. But a day after, my skin was red. Especially around my chin. My skin got irritated to whatever products they used on me. I'm very upset by this. There is a reason why i picked a sensitive facial. Right now there are red bumps and burn sensation on my chin! I wanted to try other services from them when I was getting my facial done. But now I have to rethink if I wanted to return to this place. read more
