"luxury apartments" have car break-ins in their "secured" parking lot all the time!! Happened to multiple tenants and management doesn't do anything about it. They don't even let the other tenants know to watch out for the robbery or theft!! Cerritos is such a safe city.. a shame these apartments are not safe!! Lived here for a year and our fam really enjoyed it. The facilities are beautiful/ well maintained and the amenities were restricted half the time I was there due to COVID, but it was nice when everything opened up again. There's a study lounge with a coffee machine and tables with umbrellas out front if you wanted to get some fresh air. Gym also pretty well equipped with machines, dumbbells, curl bars, and more. The pool area is gorgeous and I always felt like I was on a mini vacation when I was laying out there with all the palm trees. You need scan into every door so I always felt safe, but it was definitely difficult if I happened to forget my keys! Any issue we called about was resolved within a day or two, and everyone who works here is so helpful and accommodating. There was also this dog walking path that goes behind the neighboring complex, Avalon, that my pup loved going on. They also have plenty of poop baggies around for you to pick up after your furry friends! Management held some community events like an acai bowl breakfast from a business down the street, Berry Brand, and a scavenger hunt where you could win prizes. The only downside for me was that we didn't get parking on the same floor we lived on - sometimes waiting for the elevator took a while in the AM. There's a stairwell but it won't necessarily be close to where your unit is either. The guest parking was pretty much always full, even on the roof on Fridays/weekends so it was hard for us to have guests over too. Could always have people park across the street at the shopping center and walk over though. Overall a great place to live, right off a major freeway -- one of the very few luxury apt buildings in Cerritos. The close proximity to Trader Joe's is a big plus. Lived here for 3 years. The office staff and maintenance were great, but everything else was going downhill. There were constant partying, people treating the pool as their own private pools, cigarette smell in the staircase, and people bringing outside friends or walking around bare feet in the gym. There was no on site patrol, and quiet hours were not enforced. There were also lots of hidden extra fees, especially when moving out. The management company does not honor what the office calculated, and tried to charge extra rent and cleaning fees. read more

Eric originally gave me the tour, he was very kind and professional. I travel a lot and just need a place to land occasionally. A close friend recommended this place to me and I love the amenities that they have to offer. It's been a good experience overall. I have to take a moment to rant and rave about our maintenance manager, Jesus! He is incredibly personable and has been so great at assisting me since day one. Although he's extremely busy tending to everyone's needs. He will always make you feel as if you are a priority. He's very forward in communicating and an incredible troubleshooter. So I had to move due to personal situations, I reached out to Aria and manager Eric scheduled to come in the same day, showed me some apts and told him my story, he was very understanding and worked with me. In a few days I came back with a check and said I want the apt today (to Eric's wide-eyed surprise lol) and he obliged me and help me secure the apt the next day with keys, and since then he's always been gracious with his time with me and I have always felt taken care of whenever I was in need, deploying maintenance men Chris and Jesus to always give me a helping hand with fixing apt problems to my wishes promptly while also being very personable and cool to hang out with. My experience with Eric, Chris and Jesus have been nothing but wonderful, I am very happy to pay the premium rent for the rad apt, amenities and access to professional and personable people that run the building. My husband and I lived here for a year. Atrocious experience. First of all, my husband's car got broken into with the passenger window smashed. The entire building fire alarm went off in the middle of the night 3-4 times. Didn't shut off for 20 minutes. The hot water in the shower wouldn't even work sometimes. Plus, when we moved out, they tacked on all the charges they could in order to take all of the security deposit. All of this for the exorbitant rent prices we paid. Don't walk. Run. read more

Would recommend living here. Quiet community with nice amenities. Considerate neighbors . Also my apartment was facing the freeway and rarely heard the sound of cars passing. read more

if you guys try to move here there is few things you should know, 1, first if you guys leave near freeway trust me you will feel like you are sleeping on top of the free way very annoying and loud 2, nd if the upstairs is doing laundry at first you will check google if there is an earthquake because whole house is shaking 3rd if you leave above the manager's office if you don't have sleepers on they will call you and ask you what is going on in your house but if upstairs do the same thing there is nothing you can do about 4th the water is very dirty it's yellow and office told me to talk to the Cerritos district because it's safe to use but I don't want to take a shower with yellow water so I paid to get a filters Be aware of this things I wish i can post the video. read more

False sense of security. Apparently, anyone can get your car towed for any reason. There's only one small sign at the entrance of the six level parking structure. Doesn't seem fair. Literally any tow truck can drive in through the gate behind a resident and take ANY car. There is zero control. I wasn't parked in a handycap spot. Even those that do at least get several warning before a citation is given, then towed. My vehicle was towed without a warning or a visible signed nearby instructing me I couldnt park there. I missed my daughters doctors appointment. Management has always been good. But they need a better way to control how the parking is enforced. Allowing anyone to tow away any vehicle isnt fair, it puts finacial hardship on families and gives the aparment a bad reputation. I like living here but it needs improvements. For what we pay, these events are unacceptable. read more

Don't rent here. It's not at all what it used to be. I used to love it here. I never had any issues with management (Myra and Marie were the absolute best). I pay my rent on time. My family and I are clean, quiet, and obey the rules. The only rule we break is the gym time limits. That's because management lags on approving appointments and enabling key fobs. It's often been the case that they enable my key fob to work more than halfway through my appointment. Thus, I need to go over the time limit to finish the workout. Here are some key issues: - loud neighbors never dealt with - extremely slow or no response to Maintanence requests - no replies to emails or voicemails - residents renting units to perform illegal activities (no, I'm not kidding. Cerritos PD has often had to visit.) - it doesn't feel safe here anymore - break-ins in the parking lot (they still haven't upped security) - broken door handles in common areas - they treat potential residents with care, actual residents with apathy - fire alarms going off at 1am or 2am is almost a regular thing (I think they should count it as an amenity). Yet I've held my peace. But the new woman, Bridgette, in the leasing office was the final straw for me. So I set my appointment for the gym (for 12pm to 2pm). I received the confirmation email confirming that I had the appointment. Being as how I just returned from traveling and am flying out again tomorrow, I thought to myself - "I'll just do a 15 minute run on the treadmill today, just something to get some movement." So I go down to the gym at about 1:40pm. But my key fob wasn't working (this happens often.) So I walked over to the leasing office, and there was Bridgette. I told her my fob wasn't working. Visibly irritated, she began to question me. I confirmed my name, unit number, and appointment time - but she was still very resistant to the idea of opening up the gym for me. I told her, "I'm in the system; my appointment has been confirmed." She said, "Well, let me see." Slowly, she walked to the back to check the system. She came back and explained, "You're scheduled and in the system. You can go to the gym." "But my key fob isn't working," I reiterated, "Unless you just changed something on the system, I'll still be locked out. Did you change something on the system?" "No, but sometimes the fob just doesn't work." "I already tried 4 times. If I leave to check my fob and it doesn't work still, I can come back here and you'll open it?" "No. I have to leave to lunch." "Then what should I do if the door doesn't open?" "Well, you only had about 18 minutes of work out time anyway - then you'd have to be out of there." That's when I realized what she was doing. For fear that I might go over my time, she was of the opinion that I shouldn't have been going into the gym so late. She was going to send me to the gym to a door that wouldn't open, while she slipped out to lunch. Then when I complained later, it wouldn't have mattered. That irks me to no end. I would have rather she just said that she didn't want me to go in because of the risk of going over my time. I can't stand when people try to "handle" you. I asked her, "Can you please just come and open the gym? It's right down the hall." She insisted, "I HAVE to go to lunch." So I just insisted that she at least properly program my fob. Needless to say, I didn't leave the leasing office until she programmed my key fob properly on the office computer. She was really trying to just get rid of me while she slipped away, all because she wanted to micromanage me just in case I went over my time. Thankfully, I used the frustration to boost my workout. read more

My family moved into this RESORT and GOOD LORD! There's nothing like it where I'm from (Fresno). They have so many accommodations and all of the floors are inside. You access the inside from a parking structure. They have a gym, TRX room, lounge with free internet access and coffee/tea, club house with pool table, and outdoor pool. Geeeeeeeeez! The one bedroom apartments are a good size. I wish they had bigger closets and storage spaces. I'm not sure what their monthly payment is, but i'm sure it's commensurate with all of the amenities. read more

The location is amazing! Walking distance to anything you would ever need! Mayra is absolutely amazing she definitely cares about the residents. She is genuine and can resolve pretty much anything.She is wonderful at communicating and extremely professional. Management is always changing however Mayra has effectively and efficiently tried her best to ensure things stay as consistent as possible. The amenities are great and so are the residents here. The common areas are definitely an extension of your home which makes living here so lovely. read more

I thought this place was perfect when I first lived here. Listen I just want to be real and share real experiences. One incident I could remember is when I was walking with my son down the hall and hear some guy slam his door cussing He seemed like he was on drugs to be honest. On another occasion all the door handles were broken off from floor one and two, it seemed like someone was trying to break in or something. Alice is the best and nicest leasing agent we have ever dealt with! She is so friendly and one of the biggest reasons we loved living at Aria apartments. From the beginning she was so helpful to us whenever we had any concerns or issues, and she helped us out twice in a HUGE way when we had some very inconsiderate neighbors and also when it came time to renew our lease. She went above and beyond any reasonable expectations to make sure that we were happy and having a great living experience at Aria. I had the pleasure of working with Allison and knew the moment I walked into the office that I was moving here! I met her back in August but wasn't looking to move until December. She consistently followed up with me until my dream apartment finally came available! She was able to get me photos even though the apartment wasn't available, sent me emails once the tenants moved out, step by step as the apartment was getting cleaned and painted, and a video once my home was ready! She is truly an amazing person to work with, always has a smile on her face, and genuinely cares! This girl does it all! I see her picking up dog poop, picking up trash in a 6 level parking garage in heels.. to top it off I had a couch delivered and she saw me struggling and didn't even ask if I needed help and started lifting and pushing, she even helped me cut up the cardboard! I've lived here for almost a year. I had hoped for things to go better unfortunately they have only gotten worse. From animal droppings strewn about to cigarettes and the wreak of trash all throughout the parking area. I wish I could have given this place a better review based on what the rent is and what the amenities are however it has been a let down. This review is for Magdalena, Assistant Manager of Aria. I just moved in so I cannot say much about the living experience at Aria, however, I can speak about my move in experience with Magdalena. I drove by this property a couple of times before making the decision to come by the leasing office. When I walked in, I was greeted by Magdalena. I was on fence between choosing a studio or one bedroom and she showed me ALL studios and one bedrooms available. I saw about 8+ units and she was VERY patient and informative. She showed me all the common areas and explained everything very thoroughly. She wanted to make sure that I would be happy with my decision. I put a deposit for the apartment and asked her if she could get the unit ready for an earlier move-in as I was anxious to move. She contacted the maintenance manger, Rudy, and was able to get my apartment available a day sooner so I made the decision to move in a day earlier. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the move on the scheduled day so she gladly rescheduled the move in for the next day. I made the appointment to sign the lease in the morning, however, I could not make the scheduled time as work. I then rescheduled for later in the evening however I would not be able to make the time the leasing office closed of 6PM. Magdalena offered to stay until 6:30PM if I could make it and I was able too! I have rented from many apartment complexes in the past and this was the best and probably will be the best move in experience. If you are reading this review, make sure you go in and ask for her! Excellent location. Excellent amenities. This is one of the best apartment complexes you can move into if looking for modern. The gym is most impressive with lots of natural light from interception facing windows. Management is professional and very polite. Currently the management staff is all outsourced, no idea why. Got a tour from Eric the manager, he was amazing. We didn't even have an appointment but he didn't care, stopped what he was doing and showed us around. At all times, he was honest and had a ton of knowledge about the surrounding area. Facility is gorgeous, less than other places we were looking at and situated in a fantastic area. The units we viewed were incredible, like a fantastic resort in Europe. Cannot say how excited we were to have found this place and to live here. I've been at the aria for quite some time now and all I can say is stay away! The place looked nice from first glance and that's the main reason I moved in. Over time I noticed the upkeep was terrible, bad residents also live here, and the workers are always rude and lazy. It's as if it's an inconvenience for me to ask them for help. Toured the Aria Apartments this morning with the help of Bridgette. She was super helpful with showing me around all the available apartments and giving her input whenever I had any questions. I was really indecisive between two apartments and she took the time to show them to me multiple times and was so patient. She also took the time to look for another available apartment that was a bit less in price and walked me through it as well in case I was interested. This was my first ever apartment tour and she made the process so easy. read more

Tbh. I came into Aria as a a place to kill time and window shop before hitting a potential stay. Walked in just to see how this beautiful place looks like. I met a lady name Mayra. When I tell you she was the best. She sure was. She welcomed me with awesome smile and a nice feeling of TLC. I walked out a few one bed/2 bed and was in awww. I was that guy like. No. Do not do this and go see the other potential spot. The other spots was lot of sq. Footage. Cheaper. More bang for the buck. Long story short. Mayra made me feel like I was at home and felt like I am willing to be family, loved, and tlc. Besides the promotion helped a lot too lol 6 weeks free. Cmon. The best place to call home! Aria is a great apartment complex with gorgeous units and top notch amenities.

Know what you are getting into. My family has moved in and since moved out after our 12mo lease expired, so I have the full end to end process to review. (IMO don't trust a review from someone who "just moved in" as they have recency bias and have not experienced the entire process). Be very careful with the deals they "offer" up front. I was offered a credit to my account when I moved in as a move in special, and when I moved out they subtracted that same amount from my security deposit! The offer was just a mirage. Good luck getting in touch with management. They are extremely unresponsive and will not work with you to resolve issues. Don't believe me? Try calling The Picerne Group's customer service number on TPG's website and listen to the automated response. No option to leave a message or get in touch with someone... it will make your day. Also just an FYI... this is not an issue now because it's winter but come summer time the pool is CRAZY packed on the weekends. Good luck enjoying the pool and rec room.
