I explained she did not call back nor did I get a reminder call, which I was hoping for as I had no idea where this office was, or the therapists last name (sorry, after 6 months waiting I could not recall). The receptionist was very rude, insulting, and went on 5 minutes scolding. I asked to speak to Ms. Cortland which is when she hung up on me. I am upset about this incident, and find that the receptionist has a bit of a power trip going on, it should not be left up to her to decide if Ms. Cortland speaks to me. I absolutely will not be going to see Ms. Cortland at this point-the 6 month wait was ridiculous and the idea not to call clients with a reminder call, unprofessional.
