This place only does one-time deal with customers. After your money went to their account, the phone kept ringing till the voicemail was full. Don't expect they will call you back UNLESS your order is in process. I was naïve to give them a 5 star review in the past but I took my review down. They don't deserve a good review at all. I just noticed that the 1 star review line is so long that the 5 star line diminishes its value quickly. I sincerely hope they are doing well if the service has improved. They forget about the fundamental business principal. If you aim a high-end product with above-the-average price, your high quality of service must follow. Or you only have one-time deal. Probably the worst customer service and product I've ever purchased. Bought a grey fabric sectional for over $6k but the slip on covers don't fit. The fabric started to fade and become yellow within a year. The covers will start to droop and become different length's on the bottom and the corner never fit right. Staff does not communicate with corporate AT ALL. They can't give you any accurate information and there are a ton of hidden costs. They told me that I could return anything within a 14 day window, so I ordered a piece that I wanted to try out in my house. When I went to return it, they told me it was. $250 PICK UP FEE & A 10% RESTOCKING FEE. This is a very expensive piece, so its going to cost me about $500 just to return it. I also was told that I could return a light fixture in store that I bought online. I waited until I was going to the store, only to be told that they cannot accept returns of ANY ONLINE orders - at this point I had passed the "return window" despite being told that I could bring it to the store. Corporate REFUSED to take it back, so now I'm stuck with a $700 light fixture (despite spending THOUSANDS in the store that month. I am writing to express my disappointment with the level of customer service I experienced recently. I bought a couch and I've requested a left side day bed but it came as a right side. I've contacted Maria, my sales lady and she said she would call me back but never did. I continued to call the Arhaus (located in Manhasset) but Maria is dodging my calls. My husband and I, separately have left messages for her, she never called either one of us back. It is one thing to try to help fix this problem but can't, it is another to just completely be rude and ignore your customers after you've already made a sale. Beautifully staged store, was helped by katia and the sale was rung up through Cynthia who seemed quite snobby. When we were being rung up she dismissed the hardworking Russian designer and tried to take credit for her effort in selling us the couch by saying "katia is just my assisant" it was clear she meant it in a demeaning way because katia is an immigrant so coming from someone with immigrant parents-- thats offensive. Horrible customer service, horrible quality control. Best to go literally anywhere else. Purchased sofa and coffee table in store in February 2021. The initial delivery estimate was for early July. I called in May 2021 to be told that my coffee table was in but that my couch was now pushed back to August. My couch ended up being pushed back at least two more times and, by the time it was ready for delivery in mid-September, my coffee table was no longer available (it had been reallocated given the delivery delay -- even though a split delivery had never been offered -- and they could not find a replacement to be delivered with my couch). The couch I initially received had stains on the fabric and staples hanging off of the bottom behind the fabric (so you could feel it if you ran your hand along the bottom, but couldn't see it if you looked at the couch). The only good thing I can say about the store is that they very quickly helped arrange for an exchange of my couch...which took seven months to be ready for delivery (which was more than a year after I placed my initial order). Turning to my coffee table, which I finally received in November 2021 - the coffee table that was delivered was damaged, a piece of wood on the corner of the table had broken off. I immediately called to ask for an exchange and was told one would be available within the next couple of months. In February, I called to check in and was told the table would be ready in May. In May, we were told August, in August, we were told September, and it was ultimately ready in October (11 months after our first delivery, and a year and a half after we placed our order). I watched the deliverymen unwrap the coffee table that had been beautifully packaged -- the replacement table was in worse condition than my current table. Three of the four corners had fully broken off of the table and pieces of the table were literally falling onto the floor of my home. I refused the delivery and have tried calling both the store AND corporate to discuss this issue. I am unable to get anyone from the store on the phone -- 9 times out of 10, no one answers the phone at the store and on the rare occasion that someone does answer, they have told me that they can't help me but they'll leave a message for someone to call me back. And no one ever does. Corporate was, at first, better to deal with than the store, but during my last call when I expressed my frustration with the situation, the concierge told me that "she was calling me out of courtesy" but could not help me and suggested I call the store. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with at corporate and she told me she'd look into it and have someone call me, and, unsurprisingly, no one has. And, just to show how terrible Arhaus's customer service and overall customer experience is, we recently ordered nursery furniture for my son from Pottery Barn. I received frequent updates on the status of my order from the time I placed the order through delivery, and I was also able to log onto an online portal to track the status. The delivery estimates stayed constant for 2 out of the three items order, and when the delivery date of one item was pushed back, we were notified via phone and email, and were assured that Pottery Barn only issues such an update when they are certain that the new date will hold -- and we did, in fact, receive our furniture at the early end of the revised estimate. By contrast, there is no way to track the status of your order at Arhaus, it is basically a black hole and you have to get someone on the phone (which is easier said than done) who can look up your order and give you a date that, more often than not, does not hold. Arhaus furniture is by no means cheap, yet the quality of the furniture we have received (with the exception of our second couch that replaced the original, damaged couch) is subpar. But even worse than the quality control at Arhaus is their customer service. Not only do I never want to purchase a piece of furniture from them again, but, given my experiences, I have told friends and family who have considered purchasing furniture at Arhaus to save their money and time since it is just not worth it. I have never written a Yelp review before, but after this year and a half saga, that still isn't over, I felt it was warranted. read more

I ordered a dining room table before thanksgiving, it was from Italy and they said that it showed that I could possibly have it in January , I called the store and was told that I wouldn't have it until March . So this week I thought that by now , they should have some idea when in March ( since it has to come over by boat and should know ahead) I've been calling the store for three days , several times a day , it just rings and goes to a recording to leave your info, which I did, no response at all .. I never heard of a store that does not pick up their phones. Or send you any updates on your order.. , all I get are ads four times a day to my email.. Arhaus. Wow! I can not thank Joanne enough. When my husband and I were ready to buy new furniture for our home, a friend suggested that we visit Arhaus. We never heard of the store before. When we first walked into the store, we were struck at how beautiful everything looked. The furniture was unique and refined, well crafted and made of high quality materials. Unfortunately the first pieces we saw were way out of our budget and we were ready to leave until we were warmly greeted by an Arhaus design consultant named Joanne. She was friendly and asked us what we were looking for and we showed her the layout of the room we wanted to furnish and photos of the existing furniture we intended to keep. She then suggested several pieces that were on sale (within our budget) which would integrate well with the rest of our furniture. We placed an order for a few of the items she showed us. We would have never noticed this furniture on our own . Unlike some furniture stores which can be intimidating and seem to only care about making a quick sale, we saw that at Arhaus, Joanne truly cared about helping us choose furniture within our budget which would bring joy into our home . Because of her help, a potentially stressful shopping experience turned out to be a pleasant one. We now have our new furniture and love it. My guests often compliment on it as well. When we are ready to purchase additional furniture, I look forward to visiting Arhaus again. read more

After waiting 8 months for my bedroom furniture it was finally delivered yesterday minus the tall dresser The delivery guys were very helpful. They brought down 3 flights of stairs my old Ethan Allen furniture which is now in my den. They also helped me to lower my bed mattress and base to fit into the custom bed frame. I generously tipped them and told them I would remove the plastic from the wide dresser so they could continue on their deliveries. Once out the door, I immediately saw there was damage to my night table. They were still in the driveway and informed me customer service would call me. As I was waiting I pulled the plastic off the dresser and the top and middle drawers completely fell off their brackets. Literally the screws fell off too And the 2 drawers are busted Customer service called back and I sent her a picture of the dresser. She assured me that I would get a call back yesterday but that never happened. Im extremely frustrated and dissapointed with Arhaus. We purchased an entire bedroom set 9/2/23. We waited 2 months for delivery which i understand but once delivered there was a pretty noticeable defect in the fabric og my headboard and my 6 drawer dresser came cracked at the top plus the drawers were damaged so we had to send it back. To add insult to injury, i am now put back in line to receive the dresser late January 2024!!! Wow... you would think that considering the price tag the quality control would be better because the damage was not during delivery, it should have never left the factory in that condition. I am also in disbelief that Arhaus doesn't keep some backup stock for issues such as these. Why do i need to be put back in line to receive a dresser that i purchased 9/2/23 and only get it almost 6 months later. That's completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury i called the Short Hills store and someone there said they would find a way to help me perhaps by sending me a temporary dresser so my clothe isn't all over the place for months. Its been almost 2 weeks and no call back or resolution from anyone. Honesty i've purchased furniture from many places in the past and this has been by far the worst experience from a "luxury" brand. I love the furniture and style at this store. However, both of my experiences have been so miserable and unhelpful! Every time I try to buy something I'm told it's not available for sale (even though there is a price tags on it) or it's backordered. Plus I've wanted to pick something up from the store and was told they are unable to do this because it's too heavy. Meanwhile, whenever I ask the same thing of the Arhaus in meatpacking they are happy to oblige. I don't get it. Roslyn is closer to me but I always end up giving meatpacking my business because of how unhelpful the staff is here. read more

The experience that my wife and I had with Arhaus was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Laura and she spent quite a bit of time walking around with us. She linked us up with the in-house designer Katia and thats when the magic started to happen. Laura and Katia together took a somewhat complicated living/dining room combination and turned it into a place that we never could've dreamed of. I am disgusted with the customer service from the concierge portion of Arhaus. My wife and I purchased dressers, tables, armoire, bed frame, ..... I would say 85% of our home is Arhaus purchases. The sales and management team at Roslyn have all been top notch with us. The corporate concierge customer service portion is a disgrace. Arhaus is not a Bob's or some low end no name furniture discount company out on Long Island and the team at Roslyn does not treat their customers as such. The concierge however took almost 2 months and at least 5 follow ups (emails & calls) to just say that they do cover something under warranty. Our bed frame is peeling all over the place. I reached out to them, they asked for pictures and 2 months later they just said it's not covered and nothing they can do. It does not read anywhere in their warranty paperwork that it is not covered. I respectfully told the concierge how disappointed I was and disgusted that after all our repeated purchases at Arhaus that they were not even going to revisit. Disgraceful customer service. It's a good thing the economy is doing so well and there is no sign of inflation or recession that would make a company rethink how they treat their customers. Good luck Arhaus. Excellent at selling you very highly priced furniture. Really good at quickly taking your money. In our case, it was tens of thousands of dollars. Actually giving you what you paid for? Zero interest. We have totalled 11 times where they promised to call us and ZERO times they did. We initially thought it was incompetence as they listed excuse after excuse as to why nobody has done anything. We then had the store manager say that he will handle it, and low and behold, he has disappeared. Now they arent even bothering to promise us anything, they've simply stopped returning calls and emails. They feel no obligation once they take your money to actually give you what you paid for. Arhaus customer service is absolutely HORRIFIC!!!! I ordered a piece of furniture in July that we were unable to accept delivery on. After 3 weeks and no refund, I was told by the local store that the delivery team needed to close the ticket and then I would receive a refund. Then beginning in October I began to receive statements from Arhaus stating that I owed them for the piece of furniture that I do not have!!! I called the concierge service 3 times, each time I was told that they emailed the collections department and I needed to allow 24-48 for a response then they would call me back. I NEVER received a call back, ever!!!! Even after they said this was an error on their part, they marked the email as urgent, I would not be sent to collections since this was a dispute. Now I received a letter from a collections agency on Arhaus behalf, but still never received a call back from the concierge service. This is absolutely DISGUSTING and THE WORST customer service I have ever seen!!!!!! read more

She told us that it was possible to receive the bed and one of the dressers the week of Sept 7 (this week). I called the store to inquire and spoke to several rude women before the original saleswoman called me back. She basically admitted that no one called me to schedule the delivery even though the pieces were available. She then sent me an email that someone would contact me on the 17th to schedule (not deliver) the furniture. Terrible customer service and I still do not have any furniture. Arhaus has such an amazing selection and I couldn't be happier with everything that I purchased. I was lucky enough to be greeted by Ellen and Katia who made the whole experience effortless. I was feeling a little overwhelmed before I walked in the store because I had no idea what I was looking for and have never designed or decorated a room before. But, Ellen and Katia both went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. They talked me through everything and made sure that everything would be properly scaled.
