The Arhaus in Lakeside Shopping Center has very professional staff that go above and beyond. If you give them a photo of your room they can incorporate the furniture you are looking to buy for you to see how it looks to scale before purchasing . I bought furniture from them. The delivery company is the best taking off shoes and wearing gloves. They have a tracking system on line to follow your order. No problems here. read more

Last year, we purchased three counter stools from this business for approximately $2,100. In the middle of this year my wife decided she wanted a fourth stool and contacted the establishment. At that time, the salesperson, Rebecca, offered her the opportunity to purchase insurance for the stools for $100. My wife initially equivocated, but proceeded after being assured that, if we changed our mind, we could cancel the insurance when we took delivery of the fourth stool and receive a refund. We took delivery in early October and, at that time, advised the salesperson we did not desire the insurance. We received no further word, and October 21 called the store to inquire. We were advised we needed to contact the store manager, a Mr. Borgos, who had authority to issue a refund. My wife emailed him on October 23 and November 17. He never responded to either email. I emailed him on November 29 and requested a response by the end of the day on December 1. Again, this message was just ignored, although, coincidentally, we received the insurance certificate by email on December 1. We have dealt with Arhaus in other cities without any issues. However, this Arhaus store gas over 250 complaints in the past three years. I can't say I'm surprised given the treatment we have received. If there is a disagreement, so be it. Those can be discussed. But for a retail business to simple ignore customer inquiries is not ok. There are lots of other reputable furniture companies out there. I suggest you avoid Arhaus. read more

We were looking to find a dining set for our 1920's Craftsman house . Bill helped us find a table, chairs and eventually an art deco like chandelier that works well.. while the chandelier was cracked when it arrived (twice.. not surprising give. The fragility and 36" x 18" and being shipped from India).. Anne from this store is incredibly snooty. I kept wanting to tell her to relax, it's really just a furniture store. There is truly no need to treat people like they are all beneath you for shopping here. I have felt this way every time I have come to this store and I buy very little here because of it. When I went to check out, she told me she was going to help other people first so I waited. She then proceeded to walk away from the register to talk to people she thought were going to spend more money and told another cashier to help me. Very rude, very snooty. Get over yourself, no one is buying the act. If Arhaus wants to know why sales aren't better at this location, this is why. We placed an order for a number of pieces of furniture and paid in full on that day. At the time the order was placed, we were told that the sofa, which was part of the order, would not be ready for twelve (12) weeks. We were also told that the other pieces were ready to be delivered. Eleven (11) weeks passed from the date we ordered the furniture. When I called to inquire about the status, I was told that the sofa would not be ready for another twelve (12) weeks. After a few additional calls, we understand that Arhaus "can only tell you what we are told as to delivery times." Three (3) months after I placed the order, I still do not have anything to sit on after I paid, in full, on the date we placed the order. I seems that Arhaus has gotten a six (6) month loan, interest free, for the couch, and a three (3) month loan, interest free, for other items. I am extremely disappointed. read more

I lived across the street from this store from grand opening day until I recently moved. I purchased rugs, bric-a-brac and furniture since they opened. The quality of items purchased is hit and miss with this company. Unfortunately, there seem to be more misses than hits. I chalked up my misses as poor judgement on my part opting not to return any of my purchases that did not stand the test of time until I experienced a problem with a $1,500.00 Retail cost upholstered Laris Chair. Thank God in heaven I paid nothing near that price for the chair. The chair of course did not stand the test of oh 4 months before a seam began to unravel leaving a hole in the seam. I decided that this time I was going to speak up unlike prior purchases that I sucked up instead of speaking up. I walked down the street to the New Orleans Warehouse District Store and spoke to the manager as my sales person was off. The manager seemed to have amnesia that day acting as if he'd never seen me before. He asked my name and stated he could find no record of me purchasing anything ever from his store but he would continue to look for a receipt. A month went by and I decided to pop back in. Still no receipt but he told me that I purchased it at a sale price therefore that voided any warranty of the obviously defective chair. How he remembered I bought it on sale bewilders me as he acted as if he did not know me a month prior. Anywho! I requested that the situation be escalated to their corporate folks and he agreed to do just that. Another 3 weeks went by and I reached out to their corporate folks and the call ended up at the concierge desk. A very distracted and rude lady answered and advised that she had no clue why any of my purchases were not in the system which I already knew that answer as another employee told me outside of the store that it was common practice of my friendly salesperson to place purchases of customers she could not remember names of under dummy accounts. The concierge then advised without a receipt I was I was - SOL - then she further advised that I was not covered under any warranty for repair or return because the New Orleans store manager advised her I moved condos two blocks away since purchase and that was another loophole in their warranty to exclude coverage and void the warranty . Lastly the concierge Dr. advised me that the manager of the New Orleans store (the guy with amnesia) remembered me purchasing the item on sale and that to voided any warranty or goodwill on their part. At this point the concierge advised she was busy and abruptly hung up without saying another word. Folks I understand rules however the way this whole deal went down and the poor quality construction of their pricy furniture not to mention their extremely rude managers locally not to mention their corporate folks has sealed the deal on my never darting the doors again at the New Orleans Warehouse District Location. Shame on me knowing that their we quality issues prior to purchasing furniture but shame - shame- shame on the way the local store and corporate folks handled this situation that could have been handled with a needle and thread. I'm sure reading the other unhappy reviewers that a - Going Out of Business Sale - will be advertised real soon as a business can not operate as they are today and expect to be around tomorrow! Arhaus - Poor Quality Chair - Furniture Stores Near Me - Metairie, Louisiana

If you are looking for quality furniture and decent customer service, I highly recommend going elsewhere. Literally anywhere but here. Here's some background information. Around the Fourth of July, I ordered online the Glasgow Coffee Table. When it was delivered to me it was damaged - one of the decorative metal brackets across the middle of the table had come loose. I refused to accept the table. At this point in time I had to call the concierge three separate times to get a full refund. On September 11th, I decided to reorder the coffee table, thinking maybe the damage was just a fluke and I got the one bad coffee table. This time, however, I went into my local Arhaus (New Orleans) to have a sales associate help me with the purchase and to explain my prior experience in the hopes that maybe this wouldn't happen again. I was wrong. She sent my coffee table to my billing address in Birmingham, AL instead of my shipping address in New Orleans, LA. On September 21st, I got an email that my coffee table had arrived in Birmingham. At this point, I called Arhaus New Orleans and asked to speak with a manager. The sales associate I was speaking with told me the manager had been fired but that she would put me in touch with Vicky Web, the Regional Manager. On September 22, I spoke with Vicky Web. She told me that they would refund my delivery fees (which has yet to be refunded), and insured me that they would be shipping me a new coffee table that was separate from the one in Birmingham. She also told me she would be checking in with me to make sure everything went smoothly and I received my table. On October 3rd, I realized I hadn't heard anything about the coffee table in a while, so I called Vicky Web and left a voice mail. On October 5th, I called the concierge (Rebecca) to see what was going on. This woman told me it was my fault my coffee table was sent to the wrong city and refused to let me speak with a manager when I requested. She then told me the second coffee table was never shipped and there was nothing she could do about the delivery fees. When I got off the phone with her, I called Vicky Web again, and left another message. She did not return either of my messages. On October 6th, I was put in touch with another manager (Autumn). She told me she would look into the issue and get back to me. She never called me back. On October 17th, I finally get a call that my coffee table is in New Orleans for delivery. Today (10/19) it was supposed to be delivered. Unfortunately, I got a call from the delivery men this morning telling me the table was damaged and they wouldn't be delivering it. Surprise, surprise. I called Arhaus and spoke with another sales associate who told me she would have Autumn contact me about this issue. At the end of this day, I still hadn't heard back from Autumn when I called Arhaus back and she told me Autumn had acknowledged her email but was still neglecting to contact me. read more

Third party delivery system is a nightmare. You have to wait 8 hours to have logistics find your stuff. No one has any idea where anything is. The third party deliverer needs to be terminated. Do not come here. The furniture is great bc it's new and different from what typical New Orleans stores have - but be prepared that if you ever have an issue with your product - you'll never get it resolved. Even if you purchase their worry free package, i'm pretty Arhaus knowingly shills a product that more than likely, their customer who just spend $17k on furniture - like me, can't use. Right now - I phone into their Worry Free customer service to file a claim on my couch from 2017. I have the Landsbury 3Piece Sectional, and Worry Free told me that it wouldn't be covered even though the pamphlet that Arhaus gives you, clearly indicated it would be. Also the stain I wanted to claim wouldn't be covered bc i was honest (go figure, i should be a POS like them and lie) and told the customer service rep that it was over 30 days old. She said all stains have to be reported within 30 day after I'd just told her that info - so good job on her part not having to help a customer. They're sharks - from top to bottom. My husband and I were in NOLA last Xmas in a little vacay and love it so much that we wanted to bring something nice that remind us of our fun time in New Orleans, A dear friend who happen to be a regular client and live around the corner had recommended this store to us so we walk in to check it out and of course we wanted to buy everything, we meet Bea, who was wonderful, well a couple of hours and 10k later that pretty much buy you like 3 chair but still wanted to do something special we placed our order we were told our custom stools were going to take some place between 3 to 4 months except for the catana chair that my husband absolutely loved, we were told that it was in stock and will ship asp, so exited to get all new furniture! WELL as I write this review here 6 months later still waiting for the catana chair and i keep hearing is shipping this day and that day and nothing! :( my stools got here like 5 months later and one is bad condition but what can you do when they take so long to get them to you ? I contact customer service they were nice however they giving me wrong information about shipping, My advice, If you need furniture soon don't buy from here. read more

Bought 20k in furniture in January. Discussion about getting a couch piece up to third floor through tight stairwell. Delivery made in late April. A table was missing and the couch wouldn't fit. Destroyed dry wall in stairwell. They did pay to fix. Fast forward and am still waiting for couch replacement, told August (8 months out) and table is on "back order," and could be NINE months out. Designer raised her voice at me. Have been nothing but patient and have been in contact with customer relations, store (Chris), and regional manager (Ed) with little progress made. Also, they made a mistake with the Arhaus charge and we weren't put on the 24 months no interest and I had to call and sit on phone and try to fix their mistake. Their customer service and follow up is poor. Their fulfillment is abysmal. The furniture is ok but not worth the grief especially at the price. Please be very, very cautious when buying anything from Arhaus. read more

Just had my new Flanders sectional delivered. And it is beautiful!!! The buying experience was great in store-delivery went well and was on time. This is my first piece from here and I plan to add more. This store is on the higher end - but well worth it and American made - much different than most of the places in New Orleans. Love their furniture!!! Not happy with the lack of honesty regarding availability and delivery. Salesperson obviously more focused on getting a sale instead of being honesty to the customer. Ordered a two piece dining table, industrial office desk with glass top, was told 2 weeks as the base needed to be brought in to support the top. Also purchased floor sample entry table that was to be taken to warehouse and delivered with other items once then shipped in. Received a call to have delivery but am just now being told base to desk is on back order for another month or more. Guess they figured they would deliver a glass top without the base and not let me know about it??? Also being told the entry table is still at the show room tagged for customer pick up??? Seems the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and you can't call the store directly, they route all calls to a concierge service. Considering cancelling the order!!
