I found Maria online looking for head shots for my business photos…read more I can't recommend her enough! She is amazing! First of all the photos turned out great, above and beyond what I expected, and it really shows that this is a professional job well done. Secondly, I just loved my photography session with her. She guided me through, talked to me throughout the session to make me look my best. She explained everything, how it works and why it works. She is a real professional, and clearly loves her job. She is a bit expensive, but you really get what you pay for. I noticed that she also does a lot of artistic work, so I decided to book again (I always wanted to dress up and look like a model, lol...) These are the kinds of photos I want my grandkids to look at and say "hey, look how pretty grandma was when she was young" :)

I just updated my latest theatrical head shots with Maria Proios Photography and... You. Guys…read more Everyone drop everything and book your next shots with her right now. Maria is amazing to work with from start to finish and I'm blown away by what she captured. The experience began with a preproduction meeting that most photographers do not offer and yet I'm now sold on its utter importance: a full hour (included in the price) to discuss in detail all your looks, needs, and goals. It made that actual sitting so much more relaxed and prepared, which had a huge impact on success and the ability to have fun. We did a total of 5 looks and there was a wealth of options to choose from in each set because there seriously wasn't a bad one in the lot. And I know I can't take credit for that, rather it's Maria's excellent lighting and connection behind the lens (as well as the above-mentioned preparation). I believe her background is in 35mm, and it shows because she really doesn't waste an exposure. She's also an actress, herself, so she has an intrinsic understanding of how to compel your inner essence forward, and her understanding of composition just knocks it out of the park with every exposure. I am just so pleased and cannot wait to start sending out these really strong shots! Thank you Maria Proios Photography!!

Confession time: I don't like taking photos and have never been 100% comfortable with photo shoots…read morefor one reason or another. With Diana, I honestly had the best photo shoot experience I've ever had and a lot of that was due to her incredible energy and attention to detail. Even before our session, we met to discuss the various looks we wanted to get and she really got me to do my homework and I felt properly prepped. Diana looked over my wardrobe choices on the day of and even recommended makeup artist Grace Chun. Both ladies were troopers, providing input, criticism, encouragement whenever necessary. I was worried about the hours that seemed to fly by, but Diana was quite content with making sure that we took the time to get the looks we needed. It's all in the details, and Diana keeps it real whether it's in her feedback or her photos!

No playing dress up here - Diana's work is all about capturing the essence of the characters you can play without even trying. Working with Diana was a true collaboration. We met and discussed not only the roles I've been booking, but the roles I'd like to book. Few photographers in town are as career-savvy or attentive as Diana. We didn't just make a headshot plan - we re-strategized my entire career! It was amazing. My actual session was comfortable and really fun. I was nervous and self-conscious at first, but Diana put me at ease completely. Her locations were colorful and offered plenty of privacy for the magic to happen. By the end of the day, I felt great about what we accomplished. And when I got my CDs with the proofs, I couldn't believe how many wonderful pictures I had to choose from! Truly the most difficult picture selection process I've ever been through - there were so many winners. With my new headshots, I feel more poised than ever to expand my career opportunities and book more acting roles. Collaborating with Diana was wonderful and worth every penny. Highly recommended for actors who want to take their headshots and their career to the next level!

He's so easy to work with and so flexible in terms of variety of events, pricing, location (literally travels all around the WORLD!) I saw his work from the Caribbean, Greece, Florida Keys, Napa Valley, Los Angeles, San Diego, New Jersey, DC, you name it and he's there at a very reasonable cost considering the travel and the amount of hours and work he puts into making your event/experienced one you'll never forget. Someone from a very good background and not a random photographer out there to just take your money.. This guy TRULY cares.

As a photographer myself, the process of searching for someone to photograph my wedding was one…read morethat I took seriously. Throughout my search, I combed over pages and pages of photographers but no one really spoke to me or the style that my wife and I wanted to capture -- until I reached Alex's page. Within a few minutes of looking through his portfolio, I knew that Alex could meet my personal standards and deliver the fine art style we were looking to capture. Alex is a not only an amazing photographer but also a caring and considerate person. My wife and I planned a destination wedding in Beverly Hills and therefore had to plan most of it from across country. Alex was helpful and supportive the entire way through. He went the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable with him and entrusted him with our big day. Alex took a consultative approach as we went through our planning process and even reminded us about small things to think about that were outside the scope of photography, which we really appreciated. Although our wedding day was kind of a blur, I have clear memories of Alex and his assistant, Lindsey, capturing all of the special moments throughout the day. Together, they covered a lot of ground and stayed present through the entire experience and were always prepared to help out any way they could. Beyond that, they put us both at ease and made the day more special by being more like best friends rather than just "the photographers," which makes a *huge* difference. Alex was able to capture the essence of our wedding perfectly in his images, and we have received countless compliments about the "magazine-quality" images that he produced. If you're looking for a high-quality photographer who captures stunning images, has an impeccable sense of style, and delivers a top-notch experience, I highly suggest you to choose Alex Warschauer. I was not given any pizza to write this review :)
