The ramen soaked up all the flavor, and the chicken stayed crispy while being coated in the sauce. It had the perfect balance of creaminess and spice without being overwhelming. We have eaten at the Suwanee/Johns Creek location so many times. I've taken my family when they're visiting from out of town. This location is inside the forum, and it's in a cool little "food hall" where there are many offerings of different cultures, cuisines, and options. However, we wanted to avoid the mess on Medlock Bridge Rd so we chose to go from Duluth down to the Forum/Politan Row. Parking is always hit or miss in the lot there, but it's free. There is a bar in the middle of the hall if you're so inclined to indulge. Really cozy and I imagine it's busy when there's a giant lunch rush or dinner rush. We went around 3. Josh was at the counter, talking us through the food. We have eaten so many times here but it never hurts to hear someone talk about the offerings. You can't get Mala flavor here, or buldak (I think) versus the other locations. My buddy is an honorary Korean. He loves Korean food, all kinds- and he wanted to try the K fries, along with the kimchi fried rice. We always order just wings so that the fry time is shorter than a full chicken. So we ordered the chef special- spicy. Food came out about 12-15 minutes later, and it was picture perfect! We never had the fries before and let me tell you they are so crispy even with the toppings. As you continue to eat these toppings still work their way down to the lower level. But for those who don't like Kimchi, get a side of plain fries- they're that good! The kimchi fried rice is always spectacular. Beautiful fried egg on top, with a runny yolk that will mix in with the temperature and spicy hot fried rice. It's never a bad idea to get this with your wings. Also, you have the option to get the chicken not tossed and sauced- can dip into sauce if you want to maintain crunch and texture. But, fully sauced still delivers with flavor and somehow even after 20 minutes of eating the wings were still hot in the middle. We know that the spice level runs hotter than you think, and Josh warned us about that too- but we went with the spicy wings. It's so hot out, we were tired from working out, and now we were sniffling and drinking lots of water! Next time, we will go medium. I haven't learned my lesson bc once I ordered medium for my nieces and nephews and they were mowing the food down but the spice was painful for them (12, 10, and 6 at the time). Josh was telling us that sometimes you can order chicken fried rice instead of the Kimchi fried rice for a change in spice level- made sense. He's a good dude. Easy to talk with and knows his stuff. I'll be back here, we decided next time to mix up some of the different foods from the many stands and just go for a big potluck with friends next time. But we will center it around Kimchi Red! We had a TON of leftovers, and Josh gave us boxes lined with parchment paper (beautiful touch) so we could split everything and have an entire meal once again in the coming days. A giant "THANK YOU" to Josh and the kitchen team here at Kimchi Red Politan Row in the Forum. It's great to see Korean culture and good grow in popularity and places and people like this team here help that positive momentum! Support small businesses! See my photos with the review!

I ordered the OMG burger with Gouda cheese, their special sauce, lettuce, pineapple, and bacon. I was particularly excited about the pineapple, expecting a bold, juicy bite to complement the savory flavors. Unfortunately, the pineapple was a small, underwhelming piece that lacked the sweetness I wanted. Overall, the burger was fine, nothing bad, but nothing memorable. It ended up tasting like a pretty standard burger despite the interesting ingredient of the pineapple and their special sauce. Definitely not something I'd go out of my way for or recommend excitedly about. However the fries were tasty! I went with the Parmesan Cajun spice option. They were well-seasoned without being spicy, and a solid side to the meal.

The burger is quite substantial, with a 7-ounce patty and a generous side. I left completely full, and the entire meal was only about $15. These days, that's a great price for lunch, especially considering both the quality and amount of food. More importantly, the burger was absolutely delicious. It came on a fantastic brioche bun that was perfectly toasted, and all of the toppings tasted fresh. I especially appreciated the little details. The green leaf lettuce was crisp, the onion was sliced very thin so that it complemented the burger without overpowering it, and the tomato was fresh and juicy. Everything worked together really well. The burger patty itself was the highlight. It was lightly seasoned and relatively thin for a 7-ounce patty, with a slightly crispy exterior that reminded me of a smashburger. Getting that kind of crust on a patty this size is unusual, but they pulled it off beautifully. It added great texture and flavor while the burger remained substantial and filling. Overall, this was a fantastic burger at a great value. Anytime I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back.

Broths (we had spicy miso and mala) were also very flavorful, more so than most shabu/hot pot places I've had in Georgia. The thing that drives it all home though is the service. You have excellent servers who are considerate and know when to step away and give you some time, or when to come in and ask if you needed anything else. Our server was friendly, empathetic, and an absolute star. Also, the runners and bussers come in quickly and silently when attending to your table, yet are friendly when responding, well versed on the menu offerings, and quick to take action with anything you needed. I have literally never seen such top tier service at any Asian establishment, let alone restaurants in general. We will be back for the service alone; they contributed greatly to the overall experience so props to management for their excellent employee hiring/training.
