The food is always fresh and delicious, hence the the longer than expected wait time for your food but it is worth. We've been there several times and it's been our go-to for mall shopping hunger pangs 9 out of 10 times. Our favorites are the arepa pabellon, arepa rellena, and even the cheeseburger. read more

7:20pm Tuesday. My daughter ordered here. Whole time we were waiting at another food place getting drinks we noticed they had the back door wide open. I could see outside at the loading dock area for this mall. I decided not to order because of that. My daughter still ordered. When I asked both employees why they have the door wide open for over 15 minutes they both said we just opened it. I advised it is health violation, as it invites rodents and flies to come in. They didn't seem to care just looked back at it then said well we gonna clean something. I advise then he should close it and when he's ready to go clean whatever it is then you can open and walk outside ignored me and walked away. I waited for my daughter's food to be prepared walked over sat down, so my daughter can start eating and they still did not close it. finally closed it 7:39 pm, my advice to management adhere to certain hygiene regulations to avoid issues in the future. read more

After a long day of carrying my girlfriend's shopping bags around, there is no better way to refuel than Colombian food. I need my bandeja paisa. The arepas looked really good but Bandeja Paisa is always my go to. The food was delicious, fresh made, and quickly served. Had to get the empanadas which came with this amazing cilantro cream sauce. I did try the arepa my girlfriend got and it was really good too. Yea it's in a food court at the shopping mall, but this some primo food. I wish we had more Colombian restaurants in Chicago. read more

It's in a mall, so no high expectations here, but quality is not great. Maybe other items are better but the empanadas were not good.

Yelp please update the check in Promo says it expires on 10/15. I have to give credit where credit is due - this place is very good. Solid homemade style rice beans shredded beef or chicken. It's a solid option in this food court - maybe even the best option of them all. Plantains are sliced thin and deep fried. Everything I've had here has been very good. read more

I am a big fan of Arepas and during our visit to Dadeland I noticed they opened a Arepasmania in the food court. The menu here is large and give you option to build your own arepas, so ordered a plain cheese arepa and one with beef and pico de gallo. Both arepas were delicious with the freshest ingredients. read more

I've been here once before but it had been awhile. Since I happened to be at the mall and I was in need of lunch I decided to grab a bite here. I ordered the shredded beef arepa along with a strawberry smoothie. Oh my gosh, it was just what I needed. I loved how absolutely tender and flavorful the shredded beef was. They have a selection of sauces you can add. I chose the cilantro and garlic which gave it a nice little added kick of flavor to the arepa. My favorite was the maize dough, as it was incredibly soft and truly complimented the taste of the beef, cheese and added sauce. The strawberry smoothie had a subtle sweet taste that kept me wanting more! It's at a great price as their smoothies go for around $5 and a dollar extra per additional fruit. Not bad considering the one I got was $5 and 16 oz. I usually never order smoothies at places due to being pricey but I felt that their smoothies are reasonably priced and insanely good. Left the mall happy and full. I look forward to ordering from here again on my next mall trip. read more

My experience was an excellent one. I received a friendly and welcoming service. The place is cute and clean. Located by the food court.. I chosed the arepa pabellon. It had shredded beef, beans, cheese, sweet plantains and a friendly avocado. It was really good and it was gluten free. That was a nice surprise. It came with a sauce. I asked for cilantro. It's had a white sauce. It had cilantro and garlic. It was good. I like the beef empanadas . They are Colombian style. I found them delicious. The crust was good and the inside had a good taste. They have this drink. It's an ice tea. Papelon with lime. I really like it. I don't think I have tried this before. I recommend to try it. I am still not sure what I am drinking but its good. Flan I love flan They make a good plan. It was creamy and sweet. I was in heaven. That was a good flan. read more

Who doesn't love a YES experience!? An opportunity to support a local business and sample a meal and a half at an amazing price? What's not to love. Stopped by Arepasmania for my swag bag featuring an arespa, mini empanadas, natural fruit smoothie and a desert. I went with the pabellon with shredded beef, beans, cheese, fried plantain, and avocado. This is a great balance of sweet and savory, an arepa stuff with enough to fill the biggest appetite. I am not normally a phone of Colombian style empanada but these beef empanadas were actually very very good. Crispy crust, nicely seasoned beef. My drink was guanabana. One should never pass on the opportunity to have guanabana. Throw in a super friendly and helpful staff, quality food, and quick service? Who says mall food courts don't have legitimate food options? Arepasmania is an excellent find. Yelp + Arepasmania for the win!! read more

I found this place on Yelp and didn't realize it was inside the mall. I didn't really feel like dealing with mall parking , but the pictures looked so good I decided to give it a shot and I'm so happy I did! I ordered a beef casserole #23, everything was so good I devoured it without even breathing. Before I left I got another order and even came back the next day for lunch again. I'd brave that mall parking any day to eat this yummy food! read more

I was able to give this place a try thanks to yelp Ft. Lauderdale. From the moment I arrived the cashier Marlo made my experience nice. I am new to Columbian and Venezuelan food so he was awesome helping me. I decided on the shredded pork arepa. Mini empanadas. Flan. And a strawberry smoothie. All was made fresh to order except the flan which I assumed was made earlier since it's a time effort. I travelled a bit to get here and didnt eat it right away and the remarkable thing is once I got home it was still hot and fresh. The side sauces were amazing one is garlic, cilantro, some hot. All in my opinion super yummy. I usually have food pixs but by the time I reached home I was insanely hungry and went head first into my meal. The staff all had mask and covid signage was avaliable. The staff was friendly. The order and pick up area was spotless. Cleaned throughly. Thanks to the yelp event I was gifted a cute Yelp fanny pack and Yelp reusable bag which I'm super happy for. The pricing was affordable and the staff was hardworking. The variety of arepas were nice like 10 or more. Sides were many options. Also smoothies, and other beverages are also available. I will definitely be returning. Thanks to the staff for awesome customer service and working to feed the public during a pandemic. We appreciate you all. Thanks to the Yelp team as well for the awesome suggestion of this place and all the goodies I got. PS check in with yelp for a suprise read more

I'm glad I discovered Arepasmanía through a Yelp YES! Meal event. They have a clean attractive storefront located in the food court of Pembroke Lakes Mall. The menu is located on 4 flat screens with helpful pictures and descriptions of each dish and 1 flat screen showing their food being prepared and plated. I interacted with 3 different employees and all were very friendly and helpful. The Yes! Meal was a great value and we kept it simple and tried shredded cheese arepa, tequeños, mango natural juice and arroz con leche. The arepa was delicious and the right texture and consistency according to my partner. My 5 year old quickly drank all my mango natural juice and said it was so good. Arroz con Leche was very good and not overly sweet. This is a great spot to grab a quick bite at the mall and have an enjoyable meal. read more

The first time I came here was with a yelp event, but figured a general review would still be worthwhile. This is a little hidden gem because it is in a mall foodcourt, and most people do not think to hit up a foodcourt when they are looking for some tasty local food. I tried a wide variety of the options, and everything was tasty. I called the order in, so it was ready when I stopped in to pick it up. The food was hot, fresh, and ready when I go there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The phone and in-person service was very good, and a reason to come back. As far as the food itself, everything was delicious. The meats, cheeses, and shells were all cooked well. The prices were very competitive with the rest of the food court. If you are like me, your first choice for a good arepa is not a mall food court, but put that idea aside, stop in, get a bite, and thank me later! read more

Daniel was the person who helped me and he was extremely kind! He walked me through my options and when I told him I was looking for something a little on the healthier side, he suggested the grilled chicken arepa. The arepa was great! Fresh chicken and the sauces provided were great. I was then able to pick an empanada, it was a lot of bread and less meat, but still very tasty. Next was the Tiramisu. That was probably my favorite part. It was soft and melted in my mouth. The mango juice was also very tasty! It was a very hot day and this was the perfect little refresher. Thank you Yelp for giving me the chance to try this place! If you're looking for a quick bite, this is your place! read more

Very very upset from the false advertising we got. If you go to their spot you will see a bunch of videos displaying them LOADING up the arepas with cheese, meat, etc. and since the specialty ones are around $8/$9 dollars you believe that's what you're going to receive, boy were we so sad when we saw our tiny arepas come out (see pictures) The cachapa was indeed really delicious and true to size The Pabellon only had 2 tiny slices of avocado and wasn't true to what they advertised And the Arepa Llanera meat was extremely fatty. Overall I wouldn't come back here, you can find true loaded up arepas for the same price somewhere else read more

After waiting 15 minutes and only one person waiting in front of me, we were served old, hard and stale tequeños which had no cheese because they had been in warmers for hours. What a disappointment because they had to be thrown out. We also ordered arepas con pabellón. The carne mechada was great, the thin arepa crust was burnt and not fresh either. Everything else in the arepa was meh ... not worth the wait. read more

While it may be located within a mall, the food from Arepasmanía is far from what you would consider "food court" food. I've lived in Broward County a majority of my life, and I can honestly say I haven't come across better arepas than these. Unlike other places in South Florida, the setup of Arepasmanía allows you to see your food being prepped, so you know what you're getting is fresh as soon as you order it. I fully recommend taking a drive over to check them out! read more

It's been a while since I've been to the food court of this mall but now I'll be coming more because of these arepas! I got the Reina Pepiada Arepa, which is an avocado chicken salad. It was good but I've had better. However, for the price ($7.50), it was huge and I didn't finish it all and taste wasn't bad; my first Reina Pepiada was from a food truck which I liked but I paid about the same price for something super small. PLUS, let's also consider this is mall food so don't expect much. I thought I was gonna get messy eating this but this is actually great for grab-and-go!! I'll try the cheese one next time, because I loooove gouda, and perhaps that'll be the messier one hehe. I also had a Colombian cheese empanada. They also have chicken and beef but they were out of beef and I didn't want another chicken item. The empanada was good! It's how I like my empanadas (the fried yellow ones). I want to try the meat ones next time. All-in-all, it's good for mall food standards. Would be 3 stars if I were compare it to the actual restaurants there like Red Robin or California Pizza Kitchen. And it's shy a star not only because I've had a better Reina Pepiada but also because I did have to wait a bit for my arepa but nice to know it's made fresh! This is not the place you want to go to if you want to pick your stuff and dip -- go to Subways, China Max, or Cajun Grill for that. But staff was very friendly and initially spoke Spanish, but then took a quick glance at me, and spoke English. Nice to know that, but just so you know, puedo hablar espanol poquito! So I wouldn't mind responding back in Spanish so I can practice :) read more

Some great restaurants start out as food trucks and build a following... this place, AREPASMANIA, is serving some really wonderful food dishes in a mall food court and is destined to build a following that is sure to lead to a brick and mortar eatery to serve the followers and hungry patrons! DANIEL welcomed us and explained the different foods and combinations to us. He patiently explained the options available from appetizers to dessert and beverage choices. I started with a Beef empanada (served fresh and hot) and then the signature Reina pepiada, a moist and flavorful chicken salad with fresh slices of avocado, which I topped without Garlic Cilantro white sauce. I ordered a Passion fruit juice to drink and watched as it was whipped up in front of me. I chose a Flan dish for dessert to finish. Our orders were delivered in a short time and Daniel suggested sauces to go with our meals. The food was delicious! Thank you Daniel and Arepasmania for the opportunity to enjoy some tasty food! read more

Visited this location for the first time this weekend And was pleasantly surprised. Prior to this weekend I had never tried arepas before so I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I ended up deciding on the pulled pork arepa, mini empanadas, flan for dessert, and ordered a strawberry banana smoothie. The food was delicious! They were able to add cheese to my arepa which I loved. They provide you with sauces as well, my favorite was the cilantro sauce. I ended up taking the flan desert home to my husband who said it tastes just like his mom makes it (and that's says a lot). The smoothie was perfect and tasted very refreshing. The cashier who i forgot to get his name was super helpful and patient with me. He answered all my questions and made sure that my order was correct and packaged perfectly. Would definitely return to eat here next time I visit the Pembroke lakes mall! read more

My family had some time to kill between landing at Ft. Lauderdale Airport and being able to check into our hotel, and we were hungry and wanted Latin food. This place had good reviews and wasn't too far away, so we decided to give it a shot. We were surprised to see it's in a food court in a mall, which isn't exactly what we were hoping for. But we were hungry and didn't know where to go, so we ordered some food. Everything we got was really good and it's inexpensive. The fresh fruit drink (pineapple) was excellent, as was the arepa with beef & Gouda cheese (No. 8). The chorizo was also very good, as were the rice & black beans and sweet plantains. It was a pleasant surprise. read more

I ordered food from here. As soon as I opened the bag it smelled like spoiled meat. Not sure how they're running this establishment with spoiled food. read more

Sooo I'm not an arepa girl but this place is so amazing! the arepas are super flavorful, not too heavy, and packed with flavor. It is extremely difficult to make an arepa right, as they can tend to be oily, but I did not get that at all here. I loved the number 13 as well! I usually try to eat pretty healthy, and did not feel guilty after this arepa. The service staff was extremely friendly and the line was fast. If you're looking for something fast, affordable, and delicious at the mall I recommend Arepa Mania! read more

Being from South Florida, there are so many places to get Latin American styled food. What makes this place special and different from the rest is the family-style environment and cooking. It was just so authentic and tasted similar to the way that reminded me of home. All the employees were so nice and the service was quick. I am a huge fan of Arepas, so much flavor and food packed into one thing, it's amazing. This restaurant is my go to anytime I'm at the mall. The menu is huge, from beef, chicken, cheese, and omelet arepas, you really can't go wrong here. The staff is always friendly when I order, it's made fresh, you can literally see them making it in the kitchen. Venezuelan Colombian Fusion is whats on order here! We ordered the Colombian style beef empanadas. Like most restaurant empanadas, these were potato heavy, but great tasting.
