After a long day of carrying my girlfriend's shopping bags around, there is no better way to refuel than Colombian food. I need my bandeja paisa. The arepas looked really good but Bandeja Paisa is always my go to. The food was delicious, fresh made, and quickly served. Had to get the empanadas which came with this amazing cilantro cream sauce. I did try the arepa my girlfriend got and it was really good too. Yea it's in a food court at the shopping mall, but this some primo food. 7:20pm Tuesday. My daughter ordered here. Whole time we were waiting at another food place getting drinks we noticed they had the back door wide open. I could see outside at the loading dock area for this mall. I decided not to order because of that. My daughter still ordered. When I asked both employees why they have the door wide open for over 15 minutes they both said we just opened it. I advised it is health violation, as it invites rodents and flies to come in. They didn't seem to care just looked back at it then said well we gonna clean something. I advise then he should close it and when he's ready to go clean whatever it is then you can open and walk outside ignored me and walked away. I waited for my daughter's food to be prepared walked over sat down, so my daughter can start eating and they still did not close it. finally closed it 7:39 pm, my advice to management adhere to certain hygiene regulations to avoid issues in the future. read more

I've been here once before but it had been awhile. Since I happened to be at the mall and I was in need of lunch I decided to grab a bite here. I ordered the shredded beef arepa along with a strawberry smoothie. Oh my gosh, it was just what I needed. I loved how absolutely tender and flavorful the shredded beef was. They have a selection of sauces you can add. I chose the cilantro and garlic which gave it a nice little added kick of flavor to the arepa. My favorite was the maize dough, as it was incredibly soft and truly complimented the taste of the beef, cheese and added sauce. The strawberry smoothie had a subtle sweet taste that kept me wanting more! It's at a great price as their smoothies go for around $5 and a dollar extra per additional fruit. Not bad considering the one I got was $5 and 16 oz. I usually never order smoothies at places due to being pricey but I felt that their smoothies are reasonably priced and insanely good. It's had a white sauce. It had cilantro and garlic. It was good. I like the beef empanadas . They are Colombian style. I found them delicious. The crust was good and the inside had a good taste. I went with the pabellon with shredded beef, beans, cheese, fried plantain, and avocado. This is a great balance of sweet and savory, an arepa stuff with enough to fill the biggest appetite. I am not normally a phone of Colombian style empanada but these beef empanadas were actually very very good. Crispy crust, nicely seasoned beef. My drink was guanabana. One should never pass on the opportunity to have guanabana. Throw in a super friendly and helpful staff, quality food, and quick service? Who says mall food courts don't have legitimate food options? I found this place on Yelp and didn't realize it was inside the mall. I didn't really feel like dealing with mall parking , but the pictures looked so good I decided to give it a shot and I'm so happy I did! I was able to give this place a try thanks to yelp Ft. Lauderdale. From the moment I arrived the cashier Marlo made my experience nice. I am new to Columbian and Venezuelan food so he was awesome helping me. I decided on the shredded pork arepa. Mini empanadas. Flan. And a strawberry smoothie. All was made fresh to order except the flan which I assumed was made earlier since it's a time effort. I travelled a bit to get here and didnt eat it right away and the remarkable thing is once I got home it was still hot and fresh. The side sauces were amazing one is garlic, cilantro, some hot. All in my opinion super yummy. I usually have food pixs but by the time I reached home I was insanely hungry and went head first into my meal. The staff all had mask and covid signage was avaliable. The staff was friendly. The order and pick up area was spotless. Cleaned throughly. Thanks to the yelp event I was gifted a cute Yelp fanny pack and Yelp reusable bag which I'm super happy for. The pricing was affordable and the staff was hardworking. The variety of arepas were nice like 10 or more. Sides were many options. Also smoothies,and other beverages are also available. I interacted with 3 different employees and all were very friendly and helpful. The Yes! Meal was a great value and we kept it simple and tried shredded cheese arepa, tequeños, mango natural juice and arroz con leche. The arepa was delicious and the right texture and consistency according to my partner. My 5 year old quickly drank all my mango natural juice and said it was so good. This is a little hidden gem because it is in a mall foodcourt, and most people do not think to hit up a foodcourt when they are looking for some tasty local food. He walked me through my options and when I told him I was looking for something a little on the healthier side, he suggested the grilled chicken arepa. The arepa was great! Fresh chicken and the sauces provided were great. I was then able to pick an empanada, it was a lot of bread and less meat, but still very tasty. Next was the Tiramisu. While it may be located within a mall, the food from Arepasmanía is far from what you would consider "food court" food. I've lived in Broward County a majority of my life, and I can honestly say I haven't come across better arepas than these. Unlike other places in South Florida, the setup of Arepasmanía allows you to see your food being prepped, so you know what you're getting is fresh as soon as you order it. It's been a while since I've been to the food court of this mall but now I'll be coming more because of these arepas! I got the Reina Pepiada Arepa, which is an avocado chicken salad. It was good but I've had better. However, for the price ($7.50), it was huge and I didn't finish it all and taste wasn't bad; my first Reina Pepiada was from a food truck which I liked but I paid about the same price for something super small. PLUS, let's also consider this is mall food so don't expect much. I thought I was gonna get messy eating this but this is actually great for grab-and-go!! I'll try the cheese one next time, because I loooove gouda, and perhaps that'll be the messier one hehe. I also had a Colombian cheese empanada. They also have chicken and beef but they were out of beef and I didn't want another chicken item. The empanada was good! It's how I like my empanadas (the fried yellow ones). I want to try the meat ones next time. All-in-all, it's good for mall food standards. Would be 3 stars if I were compare it to the actual restaurants there like Red Robin or California Pizza Kitchen. And it's shy a star not only because I've had a better Reina Pepiada but also because I did have to wait a bit for my arepa but nice to know it's made fresh! This is not the place you want to go to if you want to pick your stuff and dip -- go to Subways, China Max, or Cajun Grill for that. DANIEL welcomed us and explained the different foods and combinations to us. He patiently explained the options available from appetizers to dessert and beverage choices. I started with a Beef empanada (served fresh and hot) and then the signature Reina pepiada, a moist and flavorful chicken salad with fresh slices of avocado, which I topped without Garlic Cilantro white sauce. I ordered a Passion fruit juice to drink and watched as it was whipped up in front of me. I chose a Flan dish for dessert to finish. They were able to add cheese to my arepa which I loved. They provide you with sauces as well, my favorite was the cilantro sauce.
