I have to move my safe again, so they kept it wrapped, boxed and on a pallet to make it convenient for us to move the safe out of state. Thank you so much. Thanks to my dad for highly recommending this establishment for getting a spare key made for my…read morevehicles. I was immediately greeted by a black dog when I walked in. The dog wasn't grizzly or giddy. He or she was pretty chill and didn't do any excessive sniffing like most dogs do. Then a guy assisted me, first, he tried his hardest to make a spare copy of my Toyota Rav4 vehicle key, but the car itself didn't give him any chances to program a spare. The car was on high alert and kept itself safe from any possible changes. The technician apologized to me and informed me that I might need to go to the dealership to get a copy. So, I asked if I could bring another vehicle key to get a spare. He agreed. I went home to drop off the Toyota to get the other vehicle. This key was easier to make since it is an older vehicle that isn't computerized like the newer ones. It took about 15 minutes to get the secondary vehicle key made. I paid ($68.00). However, once I got home to test the key, it only fit in the ignition, though it wouldn't unlock or lock the doors of the vehicle. I was disappointed and didn't understand why it didn't work. They are closed on Saturdays. I waited until Monday to go back to figure out what went wrong. Another technician was working, Mr. Joe. He was quick and assessed the situation. He didn't understand why the previous technician on Thursday didn't test the key on the doors. He assisted me and recut the key several times to get it to fit to lock and unlock the doors. He was the saving grace! He turned my frown upside down to a smile. I was a happy customer! He didn't charge me a dime for the second time. Note to self: check to make sure the key fits in all ports before you leave the premises. I would recommend it for any older vehicle key and other keys that aren't computerized/modernized.

Their prices are reasonable for the quality service they provide.

They had no real knowledge of how locks work and tried to use different parts from another type of lock, which didn't work at all. Not League City Glass though. They were prompt on arriving for the quote, fully informed us about expectations, and the turn around on the quote followed professional communication expectations. Additionally they came out a second time after some modifications were made to our project to double check their measurements. We put 50% down so they could order the needed supplies and they arrived quickly and we were able to schedule the install. On the day of the install they arrived with a 4 man crew so they would be able to carry our 500 lbs piece upstairs safely. As you can see in my attached photo the end results look spectacular. I highly recommend without any hesitations!

After experiencing their service, I'm not sure why their stars aren't higher; but, you can't please everyone and sometimes shops do get swamped. They hooked me up with a 3rd party to pickup and drop off my zero turn which is a great service for working folks. Sharpened blades, leveled deck, and did a tune up (hard start). It was a 1 week turn around, and to my surprise, when returned, also had a bag of my old parts. This is a great practice, like a magician rolling up their sleeves. It says, "Here are all of the parts we took off and changed out", i.e. there's no question they changed them. When I got it back, it fired up after turning over once. Additionally, the bill was reasonable. I will continue to take my small engine machines to Gills as long as they're open and continue to do good and honest work.
