I looked through yelp and even left numerous msgs for various engineers. All of which were either uninterested or charged ridiculous fees. Arsen was recommended to me by a friend and he was perfect for the job. His expertise and knowledge helped us make the very important decision to not remove a structural wall. I recently just hired him again for another project which was in the works since October of last year. After being totally taken advantage of by another engineer, Arsen came by and offered more advise with patience, a detailed explanation regarding the integrity of our building and leveling of another homeowners floors and offered a great report to have on file. He is honest, sincere and above all has a great personality. I would recommend him over and over again!

He brings more to the table than simply moving things around in your home, he brings a sense of design and livability and a wealth of experience. He is unafraid to question your intentions and ideas and challenge what you had in mind, which is what I want from an expert - not simply a yes-man. When our ideas were good, he would relent, when they were bad, he'd present better ones. It was more like a collaboration than a mere "service" and we came away with a much better project for having wrestled through the process together. Also, he and Richard are something like a duo-vaudeville act when they're together. It's pretty funny. We worked through the pandemic, we drastically changed direction mid-design, we worked on-site and remotely, our permits were acquired with ease, and we finished on budget and on time. Deservedly so. Ray and Leslie are a gem. Their team, including Michael Song and Pilar Mutec, were a pleasure to work with. I am fairly detail oriented and Pilar was so easy to work with through my multiple design changes. She showed me multiple renderings and made changes as requested on the renderings, with Mike amending the plans as needed. All the while guiding me along the way. I was minutes away from getting a variance from the DWP to allow my ADU to come within the set back from the power poles when the Palisades' fire started. The EZ Plan's team fully cooperated when the DWP said no, and redrew my plans from scratch. They helped me qualify the contractors and walked me through the differences in the bids. Whenever I had a question during the construction process, they were there to help and guide me along the way. A BIG thank you to the EZ Plans team for making their part of the construction process as easy as it could have possibly been.

We hired Ron to do the architectural plans for the remodel of a fourplex. He came in with a fancy camera scanner to measure everything, a very efficient process. He was very much on time with the delivery of the initial draft. We discussed minor changes and submitted to the city, and they had just had a few minor corrections before approval, which is better than other architectural teams I have worked with. After we began work on the project, we discovered a beam in the ceiling was not pointing in the right direction, leading to the need for a revision to the plans. The engineer Margarito went on site and approved changes, which allowed us to quickly adapt. Overall this was a very streamlined process, I would be happy to use his services in the future and can very much recommend him.

This is our first time to do a big construction project for our house and we are definitely beginners in this area. I decided to go as owner builder for our ADU project to save some money and Zaven has just been always available for any questions even if it may not necessarily relate to the architectural designs. This is already a year after our plans have been submitted and he's still always there to help us out so it really says a lot about him and how he interacts with his clients. I only wish that there are more people like him in this business because that's really hard to find.
