Came by for a fill up the other morning and it was a quick and easy experience. Pricing was competitive for Top Tier petrol stations in the area. There were numerous pumps that featured payment at the island and NFC. There were plenty of paper towels on the island too! The fuel pump was in good working order and the payment device also had receipt paper. read more

Should be a 0 star. What a pathetic business. Every other Arco in the area will accept American Spirit cigarette coupon except this scummy location. The guy at the register refused to scan it knowing it would work and that it is valid. Told me the owner doesn't let him. What in the acutal F? Smh read more

Rude service, apparently they don't have a restroom either although it says they do. Go elsewhere for gas

WARNING!!!!!!!The air pump is leaking! The cashier didn't inform me until I noticed my tire pressure dropped further after using it. When I confronted him, he apologized and mentioned that some cyclist had broken it. read more

Does the odor of the DMV excite you from miles away? Does the thought of visiting a USPS moisten your underparts? Then... this Arco will serve as the most delightful treat for all you wait-loving masochists out there. Well wait, maybe you're a sadist after all... Feeding your ride with such low-quality fuel to save a few pennies! I've stopped by here twice (when I was broke and scored a pump with no line), once with a bad taste in my mouth and another with utter failure. Both times, the "pump is in use" sign did not disappear after someone finished refueling, so I had to go inside to ask the cashier to fix it. Both times, I was given attitude for trying to give them my hard earned munniez. Never coming back. Gas prices alone piss me off, don't give me another reason to hate driving! 1 star too many. ========== Did you know? - 10 minutes idling = $0.25. - 60 minutes/day idling in traffic = $1.50. http://www.myessentia.com/blog/blog/2008/03/17/gas-use-when-idling-pollution/ read more

ARCO - Lines on lines for 12 cents savings - Gas Stations Near Me - Santa Clara, California

The "high" rating is because it is an Arco and therefore cheaper than everything else, save the off-brand stuff. Of course you are supporting BP, but don't kid yourself that the other oil companies haven't committed just as grave sins in the rest of the world. Getting back to some kind of specific point, I am only really writing this review because the latches on the pump handles are broken! The other Arcos in the area don't seem to have this problem, so this is pretty lame, and as it's been going on for a while it doesn't seem like they are going to fix this problem. Just FYI, I suppose. read more

I think that Arco is you best buy price wise with out getting the really cheap gas. This gas station is close to my home, right by my local Safeway and I always gas us for my week of mon thru fri work week. $40 almost gets me 3/4 of a tank and gets me thru the whole week. This Arco is on the corner of homestead and keily so the entrance and exit of filling up is not that bad. No matter what gas station I go to I will never use my CC/debit on the outside machine to pay. Card thiefs. I always walk inside and pay. read more

Worst customer service checker ever. Put wet floor signs out, or you know, let people know as they come in that the floor is wet and to be careful. The place is called AM/PM, you will be getting customers in at all hours. You work in customer service. It is your job to communicate as much as it is the customers. I put down my items and walked out, especially after asking the guy if he was okay because he was acting PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. Not professional at all. read more

ARCO - CREDIT CARD NOT ACCEPTED! You have to pay at this sketchy atm-like machine that only takes cash or debit. - Gas Stations Near Me - Santa Clara, California

The coffee is hot. Outside of Costco the gas prices are among the cheapest. It is located at an intersection I frequent as lot

Cash or debit only. Minimal customer service. (With any luck you won't need any.) On the plus side, if anyone tried to install skimmers on the card readers on the pumps it'd be pretty obvious at even a casual glance. read more

Debit only and they add a $0.35 charge to debit transactions so cost of gas per gallon (assuming 15 gallon tank) ends up being 2-3c higher than price advertised. read more

The worst. Don't accept credit card, only cash or debit. Thought this was 21st century America?

I didn't like the fact that the cashier coughed on both hands and when I asked get if they had sanitizer she was nice and told me where it was but I told get it was for get not me. I didn't appreciate her coughing and handling my money. Seriously who coughs on their hands anymore. . Elbows use the inside of your arm!!!!!!!!! Yes I'm pissed. I come here often too. Besides that. Love their customer service lol read more

this place tends to be the cheapest gas in santa clara. one annoying thing about this place is that they have installed tv screens at all of the pumps. so you can't pump in peace, you are being yelled at by someone trying to sell you their convenience store food, or the arco debit card. last time i went here, the little lever on the pump that i used that locks the handle down so you don't have to hold it while filling up was taped down with electrical tape. lame. i hope they fix that. the other pumps didn't have this disability. other than that, it's clean, convenient and quick to use. no major complaints. read more

Don't be fooled by the price advertised. Watch out how much gas they give you for the price. I tried it a couple of times. First time it was about 70 cents left, and I did not have the time to go to the shop and get them. Next time I prepaid $25 in cash and before living noticed the amount of 5 bucks left! Of course, I went back to the shop and the woman with an indifferent face asked me if I wanted my money back or more gas. Of course I wanted gas, I had a plenty of room left in my tank! She had not even tried either to explain it or apologize. read more

This place usually has the least expensive gasoline in the Santa Clara area. If you can get here when it's not crowded, then you scored. Oh, the more gasoline you pump, if you pay using a debit card, the more gallons the atm fee is spread. read more

This place got me so pissed that I'm posting just to let everyone know how rude the guy was at the register inside - and for no reason! I pulled up to a pump, went inside to pay cash because the ATM machines were not working that day. I started pumping my gas and the pump kept switching off. The gas would flow for a few dollars and then click off and it kept doing that. So, I went back inside to tell the guy the pump wasn't working properly and he accused me of not knowing how to pump gas. I told him I've been driving for the past 16 years and during that time I don't think my gas magically appeared in my tank every time - so I'm pretty sure I know how to put gas in my vehicle. I then asked if he could just transfer me over to another pump and he continued to accuse me of not knowing how to pump gas. Up until this point I had not been rude or raised my voice, but after that I stormed out calling him a f***kin a**hole. This guy was a pompous ass, who obviously had a cultural and sexist problem with me being American and female. We don't tolerate that in the USA, so get over it, or go back to your own country. Ironically, a male customer right behind me in line to pay for gas also had an issue with this gas station attendant. As I walked out I could hear him cussing at the attendant left, right, up, down, this, that and the other - he deserved it. I refuse to and will NEVER give this particular gas station my time of day or my money. I'm more than happy to go to 76, Shell or Valero right up the street, pay a little more and get treated with some kindness and manners. Really - its not that hard to be nice to people. read more

Lady today working March 22nd at 3pm was very rude . I bought food and gas and was in my car having the food I bought at this Arco store. The only reason that I patronize this place is because it is close to my home. The employees at this AM/PM are not so bright, seriously lack customer service skills and are just plain deceptive. I play the Scratcher game that AM/PM has been running for over a year, and the employees still are give me a difficult time when I redeem more than 1 prize at a time. Only after I "proved" to the employee (his name starts with a K) by showing him the redemption rules off of my phone, that he finally relented and let me claim multiple prizes. The prize value is minimal, but it's the principal that they take what they can get away with. So Scratcher players, you can redeem up to 4 prizes at one time, and don't let K and staff tell you any different. Just have them read the rules again (You can pull up the rules on your phone, but the employees will act like they did not know). Ha! read more
