It's gas. Not cheap but usually .04 cheaper than nearby gas stations. Easy to locate, exit and enter on El Cajon Blvd. It's located within the community, not a location you will see off the highway. I say three words, $Fifty on two." Exceptional customer service for my needs.

    Semi reasonable gas prices.

This is the only place I get gas. The one star review is solely for the advertising screens that you cannot mute.

I normally would not go to this Mobil due to the price but tonight there was a detour and I desperately needed gas I wanted to buy $1 worth of gas so I could make it to my regular gas station where the last time I purchased gas the price was $3..95 per gallon nearly $2 less per gallon then the Mobil station. I was informed by the male cashier that I could not purchase $1 worth of gas that I needed to purchase $2 worth of gas . I was tired hungry and just wanted to get home so I purchased the $2 worth of gas gave him my opinion of him and the policy. I've seen her many times, but after today I feel like I won't come back. No greeting, just a blank, angry stare like WTF do you want? Oh I'm sorry, am I supposed to start the conversation? Honestly how difficult is it to say hello? To have the most basic level of social graces? If you hate people, maybe get a job where you don't interact with them. Looking through the reviews, it sounds like this lady has been called out multiple times. The store itself is very nice and clean inside. There is a huge selection of liquor and beverages and the location is super convenient and right by my office, but I can't give my business to places that treat their customers like dirt.

On 03/25/2026 around 9:36 PM, I made a small purchase (~$8) and paid with a $50 bill. The cashier listed on my receipt, Imelda, questioned my payment and repeatedly asked if I had smaller bills or could use a card. That already felt unnecessary, since cash is accepted and breaking a $50 for a small purchase is standard at most gas stations. What stood out more was the change I received. I was given $41.92 mostly in $1 bills, even though larger denominations were clearly available. As someone who has worked at a gas station before, I understand how registers and safes operate, this didn't feel like a limitation, but more of a decision that prioritized convenience over customer service. This isn't about the money, it's about the experience. Situations like this slow things down, make customers feel unwelcome, and reflect a lack of basic service standards. For other customers: just be aware you might get an unnecessarily difficult transaction if you're paying with larger bills. For management: this appears to be a training issue. Employees should be equipped to handle common transactions efficiently and fairly without pushing inconvenience onto customers. Hoping this gets addressed, because it's an easy fix and would make a big difference.

They won't take my Chevron card or a major credit card, so I have to walk in and ask for a specific dollar amount worth of fuel. I just want to fill my tank and be on my way. Chevron, fix your systems.
