I was a long time customer until their car wash broke my passenger mirror. Used to get my car washed their regularly with no issue. Even the car right behind me had to put her passenger mirror in the correct position that day. It took two in person attempts and two phone calls to finally meet with the owner. He was initially friendly and said he would review the cameras however later said he didn't see anything. I asked for us to review the footage but he refused. My wife went in to speak with him as well and he was rude and disrespectful to her. He dismissed her and gave her attitude. We had to come out of pocket for our mirror. read more

I came here for the car wash. I walked inside to pay for it. The employee there had as much personality as a slice of bread. No smile or offer of help. I paid for the premium car wash, $14. My car wasn't super dirty, just kinds spotted from the rain. The wash didn't get my car clean nor dry! However, the store itself was very clean. read more

The convenient proximity of this Arco is why it earns a solid 4 stars in my book. Arco can be found right off the I-80 freeway in the W. El Camino exit. It's a clean, well lit ga station that has many gas pumps so there's never a wait. There is also a car wash at this Arco, which cleans pretty well. I have been getting gas here ever since I got my license I live right down the street and never had any issues until a couple days ago 1/27 at 10pm at night. I came to pump gas and pulled up to number 3 and get out of my car to pump gas I put the gas pump in my brand new 2021 rav 4 and being a women at night I always get Back into my car and lock the doors and wait for the pump to go off. Recently I have been paying around 45 dollars to fill up my tank. So I am waiting and look up and see that the meter is at 60 dollars. I am like what is going on I didn't hear the pump go off so I get out if my car and when I get out of my car the gas is overflowing all over my car and on the ground! I immediately grab the gas pump and it's still over flowing onto the ground without even being pressed on the handle so I slam it back into where it's supposed to go on the gas pump station and it stops. I am now sitting there with gas all over my car down my wheel and all on the ground. This has never ever happened to me before. I grabbed the worker to let him know that the gas pump is broken, and he tells me that he KNEW IT WAS BROKEN! And pulls out a traffic cone that was tucked around the corner of the gas pump but nowhere near where anyone could've seen it pulling up for gas. Then he puts the traffic cone back in front of the station and tried to just walk away. At this point I'm pissed and I'm like why wasn't there a sign on the screen and he mumbles something and walks away. I call my boyfriend to come and meet me and my boyfriend walks in and asks him for some sort of a refund or compensation because of all the gas that was on the ground. He lets us know that the manager will be in on Monday, today 1/30/2023 and we can come back and ask for a refund then and we will get one. He gives us a receipt with his name on it and the date and which pump was broken and that a refund is needed. Well we come back today 1/27 and bring in the receipt. And gas station attendant calls the owner now and the owner calls my boyfriends phone and pretty much tells us that WE ARE LYING AND THAT NO PUMP WAS EVER BROKEN AND THAT THERES NO PROOF? I was like what? He tells us he will look at the cameras to see if any had even spilled out and get back to my boyfriend. At the end of the day it was nothing more then a bit of a traumatic experience and it was very unpleasant and unprofessional how it was taken care of. I will never be returning and I hope that helps someone else. read more

There's usually not a whole lot to say about most gas stations. One hopes that when you pull up to the pump, it's working, the place is clean, and if we are lucky there are supplies for washing down our dirty car windows. This particular Arco station is located in a roundabout way off of the freeway, but situated close to a neighborhood. It makes it convenient for everyone that either lives close by, or is traveling, and in need of stopping for gas and getting back on the highway quickly. Arco is usually not my go to, but I was on my way from Sacramento out of town, and realized I needed gas. I like the fact that the station is clean. In fact, it's pretty spotless. As I pulled up to the pump, I decided I was going to use my credit card to pay for gas. For whatever reason, the pump wasn't accepting credit cards. I walked inside, stood in line, and then I handed the cashier my credit card and gave her the pump number. She mediately told me that the station was not excepting credit cards. I asked how people were paying for gas and she said either cash or straight debit. I asked if this was a normal occurrence or if that's their standard policy. She said that's their standard policy. This left me slightly confused because I've never known a gas station to not take a credit card. Their respective pumps all state to use a credit card or debit card. Of course, they also accept cash. Walking back over to pump gas into the car, I grabbed my debit card, I proceeded to fill the tank, while reading all the stickers on the gas pump. Adding insult to injury, Arco is one of the few if not only, gas stations that charge an additional amount of money for using a debit card. So not accepting a credit card, made me feel like it was the gas stations attempt at making a few extra cents from their customers. Arco really needs to look at establishing better customer service. If they no longer in fact accept credit cards, then they need to notate that throughout the station. Their gas pumps all indicate credit or debit. I guess they figured out people don't often carry cash, since gas is so expensive these days. read more

I want to say THANK YOU to the employees at this gas station. I lost my AirPods, must have slipped out of my pocket. The next day, they had them waiting for me at the cash register and my AirPods were returned. There are still honest people left and I truly appreciate the crew holding onto them. read more

AMPM ORCHARD LANE, Sacramento (just off the freeway) Terrible customer service. 2 clerks, no problem solving ability to appease customer. After paying for a car wash & 6 gal of gas, my receipt indicated $0. Clerk provided another receipt which also said $0. Even though I said I paid for the gas with a dr card, he said to come back after checking my bank acct. Returned about an hr later. Don't live in the area but kind of stuck around. They were finally able to print a duplicate receipt -- then one of the clerks tried the car wash code on the receipt. It didn't work so they said I had already used the code. He could see the car was filthy. I told them it had been over an hr since last being there. Had the online bank records in hand d he requested. They couldn't even give me another code to use. Will be back tomorrow AM to talk with the manager even though I don't live in the area to get a credit or get a car wash. Clerks should be able to handle that simple of transactions. There's a sign inside saying bathrooms are only for paying customers. We were paying customers! Both bathrooms said vacant and you need the door code to get in. I asked for the code to get into them (had 3 kids who needed to use the bathroom). The gentleman said "they are out of order". I call bull. There was no sign saying anywhere the bathrooms don't work but plenty saying you needed to be a paying customer. I think he saw kids and just said no. read more

The car wash ripped off my stock, original mirror after the clerk charged me 2 service fees bc their credit card machines didn't work right and they wouldn't give me any refund. When I asked to talk with the owner, the manager made me wait 45 minutes for him to get of a lunch break before he would look at my car and tell me my mirrors were not factory. I have called my insurance and lawyer to take the owner to court for the damages. read more

If this place wasn't right by my work, I'd never come. The pay kiosks by the gas pumps are always out of order forcing you to go inside. The employees act with the urgency of a heroin addict who just shot up. They have advertisements for AM/PM specific products that they don't have in stock for weeks while other AM/PMs will be carrying it. Probably the second worst AM/PM in Sac. read more

The car wash here is great! I usually just get the standard $5 one with my fill-up. That still gets you the auto-dry in a wash that does more than some $8-10 washes I've gone through. Nice mini-mart with friendly staff. The other day, a homeless guy was harassing the customers for money. Not just asking, really being rude if you said no. Very very poor customer service all around. Looks like a family owned franchise business. AMPM needs to hold them to standards or take away partnership. Go to this place several times only because of convenience. They don't ever greet you. Just stand around and talk or be in the back room. And when they turn and look at you, that's their way of saying - can I help you. They rarely talk. One time I have to repeat to the cashier like five times that I wanted a pack of cigarettes because he was on the phone. Another time was during after hours and it took forever for cashier to come to the window so me and another customer just left. Gave them the benefit of the doubt but after many times, it seems like these people do this on purpose and it has nothing to do with poor training or understanding of ethics. read more

AMPM does not take credit cards to pay for gasoline. I go over to the atm machine and it takes may card allowing me to input my password but then the touch screen doesn't work so jo other options are available. It took a minute to figure out how to retrieve back my card. I go to the counter to use another form of payment for my gas. I tell the cashier the atm is out of order. His response was, "Yeah, probably." So I mention that he should put on an out of order sign. He said it's not his machine that another company owns it. I do not understand why not get the machine fixed or put up a sign so your customers do not waste their time on a broken machine. Who knows maybe its laziness. Either way it's an inconvienence, so only go to this location when you have an debit card or cash. read more

I come here almost every night and it's the same Indian lady working there at the night window with her white car. She always comes to the window late. Like she's sleeping in the back or something while there's a line of people trying to pay for gas and what not. I tried to purchase some backwoods and she tells me I can't use my passport. How do you not take passports? It's an international ID and you have an airport very close to you which means you will plenty of customers. Normally, I don't like going to AM/PM just on principle...honestly, I don't like the idea of paying for the "privilege" of using their gas with their stupid little fee. HOWEVER, since their gas prices are SIGNIFICANTLY lower (like $.40 per gallon lower) than the rip-off Shell down the street, and about $.20 per gallon cheaper than the Safeway (without my Rewards discount), then I'm starting to warm up to them. Wanna save on that stupid transaction fee? Go to Safeway or CVS or anywhere that sells ARCO gift cards and buy one of those for $25 or $50 bucks and voila, no transaction fee! Stumbled upon this AM/PM gas station on our way to the Hemp Festival. We didn't realize how far 10000 Garden Hwy was......we were trying to make it out there with gas being on E (mini cooper LOL). So yeah didn't happen. This is a new gas station wayyy out on West El Camino. Still very quiet and clean. This AM/PM has a CAR WASH station! Cheap gas! read more
