I have had continual issues at this Shell location with their Loop app using free rewards. Normally, eventually, the workers are able to figure it out. However, this visit, I had my free rewards for a soda through the Loop app, and the employee did not know how to scan it. He did not seem very happy trying to help me. Since my account had money left, I had him scan my member barcode instead, but he didn't know how to do that either, so I just ended up paying for the soda. My friends have not had issues at other Shell locations with their Loop app. Although I don't have a problem paying for my drink, I wish they knew how to use their own rewards app. read more

I'm a loyalty member I deserved better then this however I will not be returning to this location I am very annoyed at the fact I paid for the best car wash for my car to not be fully cleaned like it should have been if I wanted bad quality I would have went to quick quack. Do not come to this gas station! It's ridiculous they only have 1 cashier working there. Stopped by to get gas and pay with cash so I walked to the front door and clearly it was open but the doors were locked. No one inside. I walk to my car annoyed that now I had to stop by elsewhere for gas because I didn't have my debit card to pay at the pump. I'm about to leave when I see an employee is walking to the front door with multiple drinks to stock up (he had to get from another room outside the store). He apologizes and was very nice but it's not his fault. Who runs a business with 1 worker and no other employees to cover the store when needed? What happens when the employee needs to take their legally entitled lunch time????? SMH Who is the owner of this establishment? I'm sure they can afford to hire more employees! This location is potentially losing thousands of money a year with this dumb way of running a gas station. I was at the gas pump with my mom on my way to work and when my mom paid with our card, the card got stuck in the slot and we weren't able to take it out. When I walked inside to ask for help, the lady there was really rude and she said just keep shaking the card until it comes out. We tried everything and it didn't work. I asked if she could come out and help, she said no which is understandable because she's the only worker by herself in the store but why aren't there any other workers or assistants there with her? Makes no sense. There shouldn't be just one worker at a gas station working alone and in the store by theirselves. Like what if an emergency happens or something crazy outside happens that's serious? It makes no sense. We ended up having to pay inside with another card but it could if been avoided if she just paid inside. After we paid inside, I ended up calling my bank to block and cancel the card and to issue us a new one because a stranger at the pump we were previously at stole it and took it out. I asked my mom to tell the person by our previous pump that our card is stuck and she didn't want to do it. But it is what it is, at least the old card is canceled and closed. When you are paying for gas, ALWAYS go inside and pay, if you use a card, ALWAYS pay inside. Don't ever pay at the pump with your card because if your card gets stuck and you try to go inside to get help and if you're being refused, then you're screwed at this point. Always go inside to pay for your gas and just use exact cash just in case. But the worker that was a lady there was really rude about it when we asked but some people shouldn't be working in customer service jobs if there going to have an attitude and not do their jobs to help people when they need it. And there should not be only one worker at the checkout and in the store working by themselves, just ridiculous. Again, if you pay for gas, ALWAYS GO INSIDE and pay. Don't ever pay at the pump, Idc if its early in the morning, afternoon, or nighttime, you ALWAYS pay inside. This will save you a lot of trouble and frustration because ppl working in customer service don't give a care about your safety or you as the customer. read more

DO NOT GET UR CAR WASHED AT THIS LOCATION!!! I went here to get a quick car wash and boy was that the biggest mistake. i payed to get the "works carwash" and ended up going to get another car wash! The "Recycled water" that they use to wash cars smell horrible like something died in there! This shell is very dirty, the store is extremely small and with Covid there is no restrictions on how many people can be in the store at once. The gas is extremely expensive and the trash near the pumps are always full. The cashiers are really rude too. read more

Prices have been pretty good here for last 10years, no problem with service or gas. Have used the carwash a few times and no problem there. Once in a while someone will walk up and ask for something random, other than that all good. read more

Rat infested with homeless all around this place. I swiped my card at the gas pump and just couldn't continue because of the enormous amount of rats and rat babies scurrying around the trash and the car wash area. I took my business down the street to the Chevron. I'd rather pay extra for gas then be exposed to the ambience this station provides. For a multimillion dollar company they are doing a horrible job with the upkeep of this station. read more

HATE HATE HATE HATE this location. Literally get ANY gas ANYWHERE besides here. Barely made it there on a Friday night to put gas in my car. I decided to go the extra mile because it was cheaper then gas in my area. It was only 11pm. On a Friday. I kid you not. I get there and everything is closed. Pumps have been turned off. There were two people inside messing around. I knock on the window asking if they could at least turn my pump on. The girl curly hair hella rude goes, sorry we're closed. I said please I can't move my car I have no more gas. Just turn my pump on. She tells me to xxxx off. We're closed. I was soooo hot I wanted to smash the window. Had to wait ages until finally some nice man gives me a gallon of his gas. For five bucks. The black girl with curly hair and the taller white guy were STILL inside by this time. Why did I go to a gas station that doesn't pump gas? I'm a fool. I should've called the gas station ahead of time to see if they were still letting us pump gas. LMFAO but who even does that. This is a gas station...what can you say about a gas station. It has gas. And inside are lottery tickets, and drinks and horrible snacks. Their inside is tiny, so tiny if you have to stand in line you're going to be very up close and personal with a bunch of people. The parking lot ALWAYS has people asking for money, and oddly enough they never want any food or drink from inside. They do have a car wash, and they are always a few cents cheaper than the shell by Walmart. read more

Convenient gas station located on Truxel. They give you a discount on a car wash if you buy gas and clerks inside are always helpful. They've helped me many times pumping up my bike tires when flat. read more

Stay away from the car wash! I tried out the eight dollar car wash because I was in a hurry. That turned out to be a bad idea. The next day I noticed dozens of scratches in all directions on two of the windows. I contacted a woman who claimed she was the manager and was unwilling to even talk about the incident. First she claimed the car wash itself could never scratch a vehicle. She said it was "impossible." She also mentioned that they are not liable for any damage, and the vehicle owner decides to enter the wash at their own risk. I was completely dumbfounded with how she also complained about how long it took to make a complaint. The incident took place three days ago. The car has barely been used since then and it took some direct sunlight to notice. While this Shell might be unwilling to take responsibility for damaging the property of its customers, I will put it in the hands of their insurance company and the Better Business Bureau. Bottom line: Stay away from this car wash unless you are okay using a car wash that does a poor job cleaning, hardly dries, and leaves unsightly scratches on your vehicle. read more

Good gas station. Clean and there is usually a witty or fun attendant at the register. The pumps don't do that annoying thing where you hold it down and it goes limp. Smaller gas station on the interior so it seems a bit stuffy, but everything is really close and accessible. Pretty standard gas station with the selection of miscellaneous quick snack items and drinks. If you're rolling down garden state highway I would pull off here for gas due to the prices and convenience. The only downside, the stop light before it takes forever! read more
