I've stopped here a few times, either arriving at or leaving the Palm Desert area. Usually on the way out because I like a Cherry Slushie when I drive a long distance. This last visit, I was on my way in and really needed to use the restroom. It was Saturday, on the weekend of Coachella, so they were busy! I was thrilled to see you didn't need a code to get into the restroom. THANK YOU FOR THAT! The restroom was your standard gas station restroom, though. It was clean, but had been put through its paces. Since I always feel like I should buy something if I use their facilities, I saw they had 2 donuts for $3.00 and Maple Bars! SOLD! Luckily, the line inside was super short, so it was a quick purchase. Well, these maple bars were sadly horrible. The dough was OK, but the maple was awful. First, it dripped onto my shirt in the car! Then, I really couldn't even taste the maple. I mean, it was there, but not really. I ate about 1/2 of one and then threw it away, along with the other uneaten one. And I NEVER do that with a maple bar. The other inconsistency is their Slushie machine. It only seems to be working 1/3 of the time; the other 1/3, it's still spinning and freezes. So, it's 3 stars for OK. read more

Stopped in for fuel this morning. The station is close to the freeway and convenient. The station is relatively large and could use a better maintenance relative to cleanliness. Also, I have fueled here before, and it appears that the receipt paper is always empty at the pumps. The station has an AM/PM convenience store as well. Pricing is competitive as well. Recommended. read more

The receipt wouldn't print at the pump. Went inside. All the registers have a sign it's closed. Husband goes to buy something. A Hispanic woman opens a register. I ask for the receipt from my pump. She shouts No! Then after ringing up husband she asks what pump?. Rude and bizarre. read more

I walked in, looked for ice cream, I found it and saw the price. 9 dollars for a little Ben and Jerry's ice cream that wasn't special In any way. I wish it was cheaper but man it wasn't cheap. Also, the cashier seemed like she was on the phone when scanning the ice cream. Even after the ice cream price, they wouldn't take Apple Cash, I had to walk out because I couldn't believe what had happened. How do you fuck up a Gas station??? Go to this one and see! If you're open 24 hours have someone manning the place. Someone was there either sleeping or taking a 30min dump! Freshly moped floors and no one around..... no Sign on the door that says " be back soon" or anything! Pump was out of printer paper so I couldn't get a receipt and guess what! The gas station attendant was still sleeping or talking a dump! I watched 4 cars pull up go to the door, knock on the door and no answer. If you can, go to the mobile across the street. read more

I don't know what kind of scam your cashiers are trying to pull, but every day I come in to get an extra large cup of ice and an icy for my child. The total always comes out to $1.89 today your cashier tried to charge me $3.89??? When the total appeared I immediately corrected her and then she tried to say that that's not the correct total of what I should be charged, but then she goes to charge me 2.50??? I go to this gas station a lot because 1. I drive past it M-F (10x a week) 2. cheapest gas 3. not crazy busy when I need gas (fortunately) I don't know what has been going on in the gas world, but as of late (12/28/2017), the gas has been relatively low, $2.69 and then it went back up to $2.79 (regular unleaded gas) I would give this gas station a higher rating except their card readers do not work all the time. Like every now and then, the card readers will decide to stop working (on like allllll the pumps) and you have to go inside and pay with card or cash (which isn't like terribly, but definitely inconvenient). And when the card reader does work at the pump, it doesn't always give you a receipt when you ask (it's out of paper like too often). Other than that, it's I think a clean gas station, I've never really looked at the convenience store or used their bathroom. But, it's a relatively good gas station. Prices are always cheaper than its competitor across the street (I can't remember the name, but the gas station by Goody's). read more

Gassed up premium Barely made it through two intersections before my engine began sputtering and belching. Went t straight to my car dealer. Bad gas, they said. Did you buy at Arco? Yup. No wonder. We get that a lot. Had to drain tank and put in Chevron. Never again to get gas at an Arco. read more

Worst Arco! If the pump doesn't work it will not tell you, you will have to go inside and you will see it on the door so they can get their .35 cents. When inside and see if I can get another pump that works without paying another .35 cents, they can't because I used the wrong pump (that did not say anything anywhere in the pump) read more

What kinds of things do you want while on a road trip? Cheap gas, clean bathrooms, and tons of snacks! Can't believe I'm reviewing a gas station, but this place was too good to be true. Gas was 40 cents cheaper here than all the surrounding stations, it was only $3.10 on Aug 23, 2018! Their bathroom is giant and one of the cleanest gas station bathrooms I've ever been in. Not only that but they had SOOO many snacks!! Healthy snacks, junk food, hot drinks, cold drinks, you name it they got it! Just remember you can't use your credit card here. read more

Great gas prices!......stupid operation :( 1) Like some AmPm Arco's ..... this location has problems with their debit system, so instead of making a quick convenient stop to fill-up, you have to walk-in and tell them how much gas you want......are you kidding me? 2) This could be a "clever strategy" to get customers to walk-in and buys things, however, it's unprofessional. 3) Always be on alert when companies say things such as "Our system is down"..... "Our restrooms are out of order" or "I will let my manager know"......never believe this nonsense.......post your experiences here on Yelp with details and make things public. read more

They should shut this place down! Check your receipts when you buy something from here. We just went to buy a propane tank as we saw the sign from the road that it was $53.99. Cashier scanned it and charged us 59.99 plus tax so it was 64. And some change. So either ARCO is false advertising or their employees are stealing! I'm definitely calling corporate tomorrow as I took a pic of the advertised price and my receipt. Horrible service!! read more

A gas station on a major interstate that does not accept credit cards!!! Cash and debit card only. I thought it was my credit card being rejected as I couldn't imagine it was the business not accepting credit. Unfortunately, no one looks for reviews before stopping for gas but lucky for you there is a mobile across the street. read more

This station is very poorly managed. I went this morning to get gas. I paid with my Google Pay app on my phone. When I went for the nozzle, I discovered that it was missing. A simple "Out of Order" sign on the pump should have been there. I went elsewhere for gas. The last time that I visited this location, I paid $1.50 to put air in my tires. Once again, when I reached for the hose, there was no air nozzle! When I went inside to get my money back, the clerk said she couldn't give it to me, and that I would have to get in touch with the company that operates the air pump. Typical Arco AMPM gas station with mini mart. I like this location because it's right by interstate 10 on/off ramps and at a corner that is controlled by traffic lights. Easy access and plenty of parking, cheap fuel, mini market has snacks, drinks & bathrooms. read more

Terrible service. Male just standing behind the counter doing nothing while a line was formed. A female actually working asked for the next customer in line. I walked up and the male behind the counter rudely said to me another guy (who walked up waiting after I did) was next, then proceeded to help this other customer. We only go to Arco for the crushed ice. This place has none or the machine was broken. I told them they should put a sign up and the girl said, "We aren't allowed to." They YELL Good morning as you walk in which is unnerving. They have no hostess products and their fresh fruit looks like it's been sitting there for a week. I am a driver for a local cab company here in the Desert area, I fill up every day to the tune of about $55.00, which of course adds up to about $1320 per month......on a yearly basis you do the math...($15,840.00). The other night I was so disrespected by one of the Arco employees at the corner of Cook and I-10, I made a commitment to myself never to return and fuel my cab-van up ever again there, even if it requires me to pay more. When I had an issue with two of the pumps not working properly, the young girl barked at me telling me it was my van's problem....Really I said, "It's worked fine for the last two years and now It's the van's problem"....Then the attitude came, very distasteful and disrespectful, the young woman had no class or emotional discipline whatsoever.....I love America, I choose to vote with my dollars ($15,840.00) elsewhere now....shame on Arco at the I-10 & cook St. for treating one of their best customers like crap!
