I never leave reviews much leas complain about gas stations because whats there to complain about. Well now theres an issue. Gas station had an issue a couple of weeks ago. They "repaired" it and now when you pump gas it takes 1-2 min to reach 1 gallon. Thats ridiculous. I thought I would never see a gas pump slower than a trsla charger. All the pumps are like that now. Good quick stop for gasoline and coffee and snacks however if you want to use the restroom beware. They got double standard here. At first the lady said the restroom was out of service. What the heck? Then I spoke with the manager and he said come back in 10 minutes after your gasoline fillup and I will let you in the restroom. What the heck is going on here?? Finally got to use the restroom and toilet was working perfectly too. Clean restroom as if nobody has used it all day. I get that there is a homeless problem here but to lie to paying customers is just ridiculous in and of itself my friends. The purpose of any gas station is basically a rest stop for you to take a break and use the restroom to fillup and use the restroom to relieve yourself and freshen up again to go about your daily business. I got a knife pulled on my by the employee cause I asked her to turn on the air. She refused. CA state law says you have to give air for free with purchase. I put gas in my car and she said I should've gotten a receipt and there's nothing she can do. She has short black hair. I asked employee about why the second tape was broken- if you look online anytime a card reader has broken tape there is a possibility of a card skimmer. I have been living in this neighborhood for 3.5 years . I have been coming to this gas station for that entire time. It's been one of my favorite stops before I went home to my place 3-5 blocks down the road. Always enjoyed the staff and became friends with many of them. THAT all changed TODAY: The old staff is gone and new management is there. I sincerely regret that I now must give a FAILING GRADE to this station now. I came in for the express purpose of getting a coffee and using the restroom. I was informed that the restrooms were closed due to " county ordinance" (which I KNOW to be flat out FALSE). However, being in a hurry , I was content to use the next one open down the road. I was then informed I needed to ask the clerk to get a cup for me do that I could get coffee, but that I could service myself. I brought a metal cup of my own that I purchased from outside and I was told I was to transfer my coffee from my purchased paper cup to my own cup on my own; very clear instructions. I proceeded to clean the inside of my own metal cup using the hot water dispenser. I had just finished the transfer of of my purchased coffee from the paper cup they gave me to my own metal cup. I was then verbally and physically accosted by an older man who "appeared" to work for (or perhaps "manage "(?), the store. He proceeded to YELL at me and tell me that I was now "breaking the law" and that if I did not leave the store he would report me to the police for "violating County law". I asked "what "law" are you talking about?!" "We do not do refills!!". I attempted to inform him that I had indeed purchased this cup and showed him the paper cup as proof. This did not satisfy the older man who then accused me of stealing the cup and the coffee; ( even though I had my receipt as proof of my purchase!). I then responded that I would be more than happy to leave the store and NEVER RETURN. He said " FINE !. Get out of here YOU BITCH!" He acted began to follow me out of the store and into the parking lot. I turned to face him, and warned him in no uncertain terms that if he continued to advance on me, I WOULD CALL THE POLICE and have him arrested. He said "Fine , BITCH!" And then turned on his heel and stalked away, To say that I'm upset (?), agitated , disappointed(?); Does NOT BEGIN to describe my feelings at this moment!!! Been pumping gas at here for years. However, I had a worst experience ever. I tried to purchased at the Xactair, but It could not read my card. So I told the guy to open it for me. He did not turn it on at first, so I went in and told him to open it for me. Then after 2 mins when I did not finish pumping my tires, the machine shut down. I went back and told the guy to turn it back for me. The problem started. That guy yelled at me like I was trash to him. The employees are helpful and the store has everything you might need. I grew up on the opposite side so I always came here for whatever I might have needed. At peak hours the gas station is completely full and it's hard to get a pump. The gas prices are probably cheaper then anything around here. However, the quality and maintenance of the fuel is poor. When it rains he pumps in the end take in more water then normal. The gas itself is not of very high quality. They charge a .35 cent house Atm transaction fee, but other then that the place is good. As a rule of thumb try to fill up on the middle pumps, the end pumps are more exposed to weather. Also temperature matters when you fill up. If it is hot then the viscosity of the fuel is thinner. So try to fuel up when the temperature is cooler like in the morning or at night. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Yesterday around 10 pm my husband, 3 year old son and I stopped at this gas station. My husband entered first and asked to use the restroom, about two minutes later I entered with our son and asked to use the restroom as well he told me there was someone in there, ok so I went to wait in front of the restrooms. He later started yelling at me saying "Hey!!! Move!" he walked over and told me it was busy (there is a women and men restroom) so I walked over with him to the counter and he asked me if I needed to use the restroom or my son and I told him both, he handed me the key very mad for the women's restroom, and I told him wait so you wanted me to wait on the men's restroom??? He answered yes because of him (my son). I walked away and when I went to return the key he signaled me to place it on the counter because he was busy on his phone. As I was walking out my husband came out and the employee yelled at him and told him to hurry up and get out, my husband told him to calm down and that, that is no way to talk to anyone and he does not need to be rude. I come to this station everyday because it's cheap and it's by my house. After today I won't be coming here anymore! Every time I come here the staff is so blunt. There's only 2 out of the 6 original employees that are somewhat friendly. The restroom just so happens to always be "out of order" but that's probably because they're too lazy to clean it since there's no janitorial staff. The station is supposed to be 24 hrs but I came in around 11:15 pm and there was a sign that said "be back in 15 minutes because of a shift swap" I waited well over an hour for an employee to open the door. There was at least 15 cars who came by and left because they waited the 15 minutes and no one came so they drove away. I only stayed because I literally was on "E" but this is seriously unprofessional. Turns out the employee was hiding in the back for a good 20 minutes. I'm done with this gas station. read more

This has been my neighborhood gas station-- even though its on the opposite end of my block. It's been a successful Arco AM/PM location for years. When gas prices are low-- expect this place to be full. Everyone knows this Arco is priced much lower than other gas stations in the area. Easy access off Gilbert and Katella. First machine couldn't read my card so I pulled up to the next. Good, it reads....but it's slow. The glare of the sun made it hard to see the screen but I could tell it says "please wait...." cause I've done this before. The buttons felt like hot coals from the scorching sun. You could hear my searing skin bubble away. Another screen saying "please wait..." By this point my hair is white. These pumps are ancient. Gotta look up scrolls to learn the way. Achieved! What a great station, I go in to buy $100 & a$50 gas card on 4-3-18 around 5am and I slide my bank atm card and get the $100 card and then I slide my card for the $50 gas card and the attendant says it didn't go through and to slide it again, well apparently it did go through but I only have the 2 gas cards for $150 but was charged $100 & a $50 and then another $50. My bank filed a claim and just got a letter saying Arco denied my claim. If they really looked into it they would find some one else used that extra $50 because it wasn't me,they could look up were those cards were used and look at camara footage to see it wasnt me. So im going down there and raise Hello, I guess I'm on my own, the bank won't help anymore but I won't let them steal $50 they can kiss my asap m. $ 50 maybe nothing to them with all those billion dollar profits but for me it's a lot.
