The gas pumps are nothing special, but if you visit the store inside, it feels like you're in a toy store or museum. This store offers customers a wide selection of souvenirs, toys, snacks, drinks, food, knickknacks, and much more. The service my family and I received from two female employees was excellent; both were very friendly, warm, outgoing, and cheerful. We ended up buying a few souvenirs we may never use, but since it was part of our road trip, it's okay.

I came off the offramp and noticed that mobile was a right turn and all the other gas stations were shot over the ramp. I figured since I'm going north I might as well stay on this side of the highway and we headed towards Mobile. When we first pulled up there were nobody at the gas pumps, but the front of the store was filled with cars. We entered the Wright's driveway of the station and noticed a guy working on his green minivan and behind the gate behind him, were a bunch of old cars. We pulled up to the one empty spot and entered the store. We first walked in, I got a weird vibe and realized that the store was pretty dim inside. I really don't think a lot of the ceiling lights were on and the lights to the refrigerators were also off. But we went there to do one thing and one thing Ollie, use the restroom. I walked in my restroom and headed straight to the urinal. As I was doing my thing, I heard a dripping sound and wondered what the hell is dripping in the bathroom. When I was done I looked over into the toilet stall and saw a bucket under the toilet tank. Obviously the tank is leaking and instead of fixing it, let's just put a bucket under it. Whatever, I'm not that damn sensitive. I walked over to the sink wash my hands and dried my hands at the towel dispenser. When I went to go throw in the towel right under the towel dispenser was some sort of basket with a bag liner. Fancy garbage can. I walked out of the restroom and wandered around the store and saw the two guys at work they're sitting on possibly milk crates and just carrying on a conversation. I looked at him and gave him a head nod. They seem like nice enough dudes. My lady walked out of the restroom and was a little annoyed. The stalls had no locks on the doors. For you picky and sensitive ladies and gentlemen out there, this may not be the gas station for you. Oh! When we walked in there were no customers in the store, so all those cars outside must be either abandoned or belong to them. We thank them for the use of the restrooms and we headed out. When we drove out, on the left side of the gas station there was a guy working on a motorcycle. I guess they also do mechanical repair there. I stay vigilant my friends. Believe it or not, we actually enjoyed the creepyness of the gas station! These guys should go all In and theme it that way. They should grab those cars that are blocking the front parking area and park him on either side of the gas station. Then, they should put those Halloween skeletons in the seats, break some of the windows and maybe do some bloody drag marks into the bushes. I love it!

Seriously, I don't make a habit of reviewing gas stations, usually there isn't much to say except the negatives we are all fully aware of and could possible make you dry heave. And Tesla charging stations, what can you say about that would give any type of insight and let's face it, these days I rather not even talk about Teslas except to say ours are vintage, 2021! Why am I leaving a 6 star review? To compliment the lovely cashiers at the station, they were so warm and funny. The place IS clean, food options for fast food and even a seating area inside of you have your own food to eat or want to get out of your car and sit someplace to catch up on stuff. So yeah, should you need anything gas, food, snack, tesla, a massive assortment of lottery scratchers, or just meet the nice cashiers...this is the place to stop at Taft for all those things. Now this will be my first and last review of this kind ever! Unless I see Elvis and Tupac together arguing about who is treating who for a bottle of Mountain Dew or something.

This gas station is not your normal gas station. They have a little bit of everything in here. My favorite thing about this Sully's is the Smith's bakery inside. Yes I know, Smith's is everyone's reminder of their childhood in Bakersfield... but for some reason I never get tired of the champagne cupcake. It's my favorite here. Other than the goodies from Smith's you can find deals on the energy drinks and also you get a little small reward if you sign up and get a Sully's card. It's kind of a little coupon card basically. I'm not an energy drink person, but I'll get it from time to time for my husband or my oldest son. This facility is clean and the staff is really nice. My last visit here everyone was super cheerful early in the morning. Very nice way take start your day is to visit an establishment where everyone makes you feel like they are happy you came to visit. You don't see that often, but it makes you want to continue to come back and support this place.

So if you crave some fast food, you can stop in here for a quick bite. The gasoline is expensive, but it is located on a highway and is near I-5. I probably visit this Sully's location the most from all the Sully's in town. Sully's has a reward…read moresystem, so if you visit any of the Sully's location make sure to use your reward points for discounts on goodies and gas. If you're like me and go to Sully's more than grocery stores then you definitely need to get on their rewards system, the process is pretty easy. They give you a card and you can register it with your cellphone so you can just punch in your cellphone number when you check out and instant discount. I love the gas stations that sell all products from local businesses. I think it's important to support our local stores because they are what makes our communities. They have all the goodies here!!! They have tons of small vendors and big shops like Smith's Bakery and Dewar's. I have even ordered a Smith's Bakery cake here before and that's super convenient for me because the next closest Smith's Bakery sells out quick. If you haven't ever visited a Sully's in town, you should check it out. You can pretty much find anything you're looking for here. Mornings are pretty busy at this location, but I noticed it slows down during the day. The store is always clean and the staff is always super friendly!
