Though it appeared the owners, were quite active in regards to getting the location to run smoothly. Some hiccups included the pumps, and even diesel at the time. Diesel for example was out of order, and on another visit, pumping at a very very very very low rate (essentially out of service). Some noticeable yet disappointing visual construction yikes include poorly installed veener on the pillars near the pumps. I'm not sure who they hired to do that, but there was some noticeable low grade work done. On a positive note, it's the closest gas station to lytle creek, upon entrance and exit - though to keep the market competitive, just a little south more competition stations exist. So assuming you aren't on e, perhaps look at the cost of the other stations so that you could get the best value for your money. What makes this location unique is the many pumps (assuming they're all function upon your visit) the quick hot food available, liquor, and also presence where limited supply is in general serving the immediate neighborhood. I firmly believe that this location has potential - and I'm confident they can adjust as needed to stay competitive. I'll be sure to revise my review as more trips allow :)

I got off of Sierra Ave. After I turned left, I noticed there was a new gas station about a quarter mile north of where I was originally planning to pump. Well, I was curious so I drove over to this 76. Its gas prices are a little bit higher than its neighboring gas stations. It appears to be a newly renovated gas station. It has about 20 gas pumps if I counted it correctly. It's a good size gas station. It has very bright lights outside. Food mart inside is a tad tight IMHO. They have too many stuff. They also have Krispy Krunchy Chicken available. After pumping gas, I needed to use the restroom. The women's restroom was locked. I asked if anyone was inside and no one answered. What I found odd was that it had a key lock from the outside. However, the men's restroom didn't have it. I didn't feel comfortable so I left. Anyway, if you're coming from the north side and you can wait a quarter of a mile, then I would recommend you pump at the other gas stations to save a little bit of money. Otherwise, pump away. I wanted to get some McDonald's, too, so I decided to pump at this Chevron to offer my patronage even though its gas prices are a bit higher than its gas station neighbors. McDonald's and Extra Miles are attached to this Chevron which is nice. This gas station is very well lit. Exterior looks clean. It has 12 pumps available for use. I usually just pay at the pump and that's what I did at pump #11. No interaction with staff. Easy and quick with self service! That's how it's done!! I'll be back to support this Chevron unless Shell (that is right next door to them) is a whole lot cheaper. There is also an Arco within the same vicinity, but I don't pump Arco... their gas isn't good for my car LOL.

I frequently drop by for food, gas, and potty breaks especially when driving up and down the hill. I appreciate its convenient location. Adequate amount of parking. I've even stopped here from time to time just to park and rest before driving up the hill. I get sleepy sometimes. One time, I left my car lights on for the 2-3 hours I was here and the car battery went out. I had to call AAA for a jump. Yikes! So remember to turn off your car lights before you start snoozing. She has a map on her wall that visitors can pin where they're from, so we put our pins up. Restrooms are for customers only. She told us about a Chinese tour group that was in there a week or so ago. They took a good 15 minutes to figure out how to tell her they needed to use the restroom, and once they figured out everything they decided she needed a sign, so they wrote a restroom sign in Chinese and it's now taped to the restroom door! There was a tray of "homemade" cookies for sale and my fiancé and I bought 3 for $1. She also gave us directions to Route 66. This is probably going to be one of our regular stops now.

I was so glad that this gas station was not only open, but it was clean and the clerk was very friendly. I fueled up. I got some water and I needed to use the restroom before I jump back in the car. Everything was so easy. The restrooms are clean and available. All the prices and promos were clearly marked and labeled. This was a very easy pitstop.
