Trying to deal with a legal case while recovering from a concussion was one of the most overwhelming experiences of my life. But Alberto and Daniel took so much off my plate. They made sure I never had to worry about the details; every doctor, specialist, and deposition appointment was clearly communicated and completely taken care of. For nearly four years, they showed up for me; consistently, confidently, and with real care. That gave me the strength to keep going when things got really hard. I'm beyond thankful for the way they fought for me and stood by me during one of the toughest seasons of my life. They're the real deal; honest, direct, and ready to fight for what's right. From the bottom of my hear-thank you both!

On September 2022, I was involved in a four-car collision on I-35 Austin, TX. I needed legal…read morerepresentation for personal injury and to recover the losses that go with personal injury accidents. My family and I took a methodical approach in my need to hire a personal injury attorney. My family and I intentionally stayed away from "TV Commercial Attorneys" as we distrust them because they serve the masses. And we were concerned "TV Commercial Attorneys" would not provide personal attention to my case (i would be just another case number to them). I/we hired McMinn Law Firm to help me. McMinn Law firm was the ideal law firm for me because I wanted somebody local that drove the streets and highways that I drove. I wanted somebody that specialized in personal injury and the losses that go with personal injury accidents. I wanted personal service and attention to my case to ensure my healthcare needs were met and losses recovered. On a scale of 1-5. Communication: 5 star. At the first meeting, my attorney Jimmy informed me that my case would take about 12-18 months. And that he, or the firm, would call me when it was closer to settling the case. He also informed me that I could call any time to check the status of the case. That is exactly what I did. I periodically called my paralegal Alyson to check the status. Then the day came, 14 months later, the law firm called me to discuss the preliminary settlement. So happy I was. Responsiveness:5 star. Alyson and my attorney Jimmy responded to my calls and to my emails. One time, I reach out to my attorney Jimmy on a weekend, and he answered. We discussed the question I had in mind. Quality of Service:5 star. Personal attention to my case; referred me to specialized doctors for my injuries; communicated and answered my questions by phone, email, and text. Made the case to the opposing party on my behalf and got top dollar. I recommend McMinn Law Firm over "TV Commercial Attorneys". 1st because they are truly local. They do not have a branch here and a branch there. They and their families drive the same streets and highways you and I drive. And you meet the actual attorney's that will work on your behalf. 2nd they specialize in personal injury and all the losses that go with those injuries. 3rd they provide personal service and attention to your case and ensure your healthcare needs are met by referring you to personal injury doctors. 4th they negotiate hard to get top dollar for your case. Thank you, Justin. Thank you, Jimmy. Thank you, Alyson and Kathleen for your help on the September 2022 car accident.

He has always been readily available to talk to me when I was in need of advice and that was much appreciated. (I made an appointment on Thursday and was in to see Carlos on Monday. He spoke with me well beyond the "paid period" of the consult and answered all of my questions.) In short, Carlos feels like a friend and an advocate, even as he excels as a lawyer. It's obvious he really knows the law. He also is unique in that he clearly cares about the people he advises and represents. This is way more than a 'job' to him. I'd unequivocally recommend him to anyone seeking a divorce!

Instead, for almost a year I was given empty assurances, delays, and excuses. I had to call and push for months just to finally get a response. By the time they finally answered me, they admitted my case had been sitting for months without progress -- all while my family was grieving and the statute of limitations was slipping away. He told me after all this time that they would not pursue the case because they could not secure a medical expert opinion. If that was the situation, it should have been determined much earlier instead of stringing me along for nearly a year. He even acknowledged there was an argument for negligence but still left me without help, wasting precious time I could have spent seeking another attorney. This firm showed a complete lack of urgency, communication, and professionalism. Losing a loved one is devastating enough -- being dragged along and ignored by the people who are supposed to fight for justice makes it even worse. I would not recommend trusting this firm with something as serious as a malpractice case.

Highly recommend Aaron for personal injury cases. When I initially spoke with him about the…read morespecifics of my case, he gave me very direct feedback and informed me on all of the reasons why I could potentially file suit against the City of Austin. Unfortunately, at the end of the first phone call, he regrettably informed me that due to the Texas Tort Claims Act, it's almost impossible to file suit and expect to get any sort of compensation for the type of injury I suffered. I was let down, but at least grateful that he gave me honest, valuable counsel. I thanked him for his time and was left to figure out my next move, but thankfully only had to wait until the end of the day when he called me back. Despite telling me he wouldn't take my case, he had spent most of his day poring over similar cases and managed to find one that made it all the way up to the Texas Supreme Court, which had actually reset the precedent for cases such as this. He then told me he actually felt like he had a shot to get me some money to help pay off the egregious amount of medical bills I had incurred. I should also add, though, that my mother and I were very diligent about gathering as much evidence as possible the moment I was released from the hospital, and without all of this documented evidence, there is very little chance I would have had a case to begin with. As far as how the process went while working with Aaron, I could not have been more pleased with how everything was handled and played out. One of my favorite things about Aaron is that he is no bullshitter. He is very direct and always made sure I understood exactly what to expect throughout the whole process, and always updated me immediately with any new developments, as well as going through expectations for the next part of the case. All in all, it took about 20 months from the day Aaron accepted my case to the day that we settled out of court for a payout from the city that has helped ease my financial burden that I incurred due to poor city maintenance. I cant even imagine where I'd be without all the work, time, and effort that Aaron put in to my case, and words cannot express how grateful I am to him.

What was so mind boggling was that I was still in physical therapy for my shoulder when I had to see him. I suffered a torn rotator cuff on the job but the chiropractor who is not a MD wrote in his report that I do not need surgery to repair my shoulder (he claimed it was a shoulder strain) even though my physician (an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in elbow and shoulder surgeries and approved by the insurance company) had made it clear I was a candidate for surgery. Mr. Allison represented me from May of 2022 until November of 2022 when we went in front of a so-called "Administrative Law Judge" who works for the Texas Department of Insurance (Division of Workers' Compensation). Mr. Allison did everything and beyond to prove my case. We had all the documentation including the MRI results that I had to pay for. I really felt good after the hearing because we proved everything beyond the shadow of doubt. However, the administrative judge took the recommendation of a chiropractor (who never looked at the MRI results) over my physician who happens to be an expert and specialist in elbow and shoulder orthopedics for The Carrell Clinic who happens to perform surgeries for the Dallas Cowboys. Mr. Allison had warned me from the very beginning that Texas' Workers' Compensation Law is perhaps the worst in the nation when he took up my case. Aaron will bend over backwards to help you anyway he can. His knowledge of the Workers' Compensation law is second to none as far as I am concerned. He gave my wife and I the history and structure of Texas' Workers' Compensation Law and answered pretty much all our questions before we even asked him. He was always available when I had any questions and he made me feel at ease. He may not like this description of him but I told him he really is a crusader for the working people and it's a shame there aren't more like him. If you have been injured, please contact him - he will fight for you. Thank you Aaron for everything you did for me. David M. Sligh

If they know you're gonna pay good money, you'll get a second call (Mainly to confirm your payment lmao) and after that? Crickets. Your case will get handed to a temp or a paralegal who either couldn't give a rat's behind about you or is way too overwhelmed to give every case the time that they need. Spent thousands of dollars for them to quite literally leave off documents THAT I HAD SENT THEM AND SPECIFIED NEEDED TO BE SENT AS A PART OF MY CASE JUST FOR MY CASE TO BE DENIED AND THEN THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME AGAIN TO REFILE. NO APOLOGY. NO "OH MAN, SORRY BUT WERE GONNA TAKE MORE MONEY TO SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS WE PURPOSEFULLY DIDNT INCLUDE THAT YOU TOLD US TO AND OH WOW LOOK, YOUR CASE WAS APPROVED, WOWEE." Not only that but I never actually ever spoke to the lawyer(s) who were representing me. There's multiple lawyers because my case changed hand no less than 4 times. They'll ask for paperwork, you'll file it immediately and then you'll see that your letter was filed 5 days late with USCIS with some BS excuse that has nothing to do with why it was actually late (SOME KNUCKLEHEAD HAD SENT IT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS AND LINCOLN GOLDFINCH WASN"T GOING TO TELL ME BUT LUCKILY IM AN ANNOYING LITTLE POS) Then they proceeded to tell me that I needed to give them $3000 more to represent me as now that my case was approved, they were no longer responsible for the previous case. Is it maybe because in all of the 1000 calls I made to them I only ever spoke to even just a paralegal once or twice? Probably. I don't blame them for dropping me really, I was a nuisance. But good lord, when you pay someone nearly 10grand to file paperwork, you kinda expect a little more huh?
