Steve and Chet - what a team! We used them twice recently during our home buying process. First time, by the time we reached the property (on time), Steve had already found a lot of issues and recommended that we bail out as there were safety issues and the construction was sub-standard. The way he explained to us, we were very sure and comfortable taking his recommendation. Next time we bid on the house we eventually bought, we considered no one but Steve (and Chet) for the inspection! We had total belief in their ability to find any hidden issues and if they said the property is safe and good, then it is so! They both are very friendly, honest, knowledgeable and their attention to detail is beyond comparison. They know what they are doing! I'd gladly recommend them to anyone anytime. Thanks Steve and Chet :) read more

Terrible management of property. Bad quality of service. Apt cost went up after they took over.

Tommy was very detailed and thorough in his inspection report. During the walkthrough, he explained all the small details he discovered. We purchased the standard home inspection with an additional pool inspection, and the price for both was very reasonable. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the inspection, which helped us uncover hidden issues. read more

I requested a home inspection on a short notice and Steve was responsive from the very beginning. Steve always was willing to help or get things done no matter what. He was also very professional by guiding me and giving me expert advice. Chet was also extremely knowledgeable and answered any of my questions. Overall, they provided great value and service! I feel at peace now moving into my new home and making sure everything is in excellent shape! Big thanks to Steve and Chet! read more

Our experience with Archive Property Inspection was nothing short of amazing! Chet G arrived to do our inspection, and he was very thorough. He located any and all little areas in the home that we are purchasing, and gave great advice throughout the process. He was honest, the pricing was fair, and you just can't even put a price on fantastic customer service! If you are looking to purchase a home & need an inspection, I would highly recommend Steve's team at AIP hands down! We truly appreciate the time that Chet, our inspector took, and the detailed report that he provided for us! Would absolutely give 10 stars if I could! read more

We are purchasing a home and I was going to shop around for a home inspection. Archive was my first call, and after speaking with Steve I did not want to call anyone else. I thought the price quoted was great and the business was local. We had Randy as our inspector. He showed up on time and the communication prior to and after the inspection was great. He was very professional and thorough. The inspection process took 2 hours and the final report was very detailed. He made us feel confident in our purchase. If you need a home inspection I would strongly encourage you to call Archive Home Inspection. Thanks again Randy and Steve! read more

Use these guys first. Owner Steve came to our house after 5 pm to review the inspection. Honest reliable and best in customer service. We were very worried as an elderly couple a reapable company HVAC was trying to fleece us. You saved us spending over 5,000 in repairs we did not need Again thank you:) read more

I am a first-time home buyer with a wife and three little kids, I did a lot of research on home inspection companies and finally came across "Archive Property Inspections". Let me tell you it was the best experience! Our inspector was Chet, and he was the friendliest and most detailed inspector I have ever seen, and I watched a ton of videos on how inspectors should work and act! Just to top it off their prices are extremely competitive. I would give this company and inspector a 10 out of 10, would recommend to my closest family and friends. read more

My agent recommended these guys and I hired them for $350.They missed a number of things (faulty shower door, cracked bathroom counter top, kitchen hot water faucet plus a few other things that they said were not in the contract ). Actually, there were other things they explained away that were not in the contract. READ THE FINE PRINT!!!! There are so many competent home inspectors in our area. I'm sorry I didn't use one of them. read more

I wish I could give these people 0 stars. Worst inspection ever. They sent Randy Schweitzer over to inspect the house we were buying while going through escrow. This guy made it seem like he was being thorough but he was way off. Here's the list list of things he failed to mention to us after the inspection Damaged base boards Garage door not working. Faulty water system 7 slipped tiles on the roof including an area that was fully exposed. Damaged piping under kitchen sink. These are all things that should have been mentioned in the inspection but were not. After escrow closed and we moved in we realized all these things and had to pay out of pocket. I even reached out to this Randy character about my concerns and I was ignored! Not worth the $350 inspection fee. Stay away from this company. Very Bad business. Your better off doing the property inspection yourself. read more

Randy Schweitzer was our home inspector. We talked at the start of the inspection and he explained what he would be doing during his inspection. He included pictures, went over minor to moderate areas that he recommended needed attention. He answered all my questions, and emailed me a detailed report with everything regarding the house. This is my first home purchase, and my first time using a home inspector. read more

I was 100 % satisfied with the inspection of the property as a buyer. I had all the photos documented that I required to get the job done and have things addressed that were of the utmost importance. Thank You Tommy Ramirez who did the inspection and Steve who answered the phone when I called to get a quote and book. I had initially been recommended a competitor but all I could get was a voicemail. When a business does not answer the call I move on. I then found Archive with 5 star reviews and I can see why. I am noth the easiest Customer but one who recognizes those who deserve it whether for merit or the alternative. Sincerely, C Martin read more

I work with many property inspectors and this company is always honest. Those bad reviews that I read were all from the inspectors being honest and helping someone out. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Our realtor recommend Archive Property Inspection to us for our first home, and my wife and I were both very happy with Tommy and his knowledge/services! Tommy arrived right on time and took a few hours to inspect and take photos of numerous things through the interior and exterior of the house. At the end, he presented all of his findings and recommendations in what he noticed. He was very thorough and simplified it for me whenever I had a question about one of his findings. Even almost a month after he came by to inspect our house, I called Tommy with a question regarding asbestos in removing the popcorn ceiling in our house, and he was able to help me out in making a decision if I was gonna remove it or not. When we sell and buy our next house, I will definitely call Tommy/Archive Inspection again! I highly recommended you call them too if you need a property inspector in the area. read more

There are a lot of Property Inspectors, just like there are a lot of Realtors. When you apply your criteria of Accomodation, Friendliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Fair Pricing and a Colored Picture report right on the spot, Archive is as good as it gets. You might say 'Good olde fashioned service mixed with cutting edge technology' is a good combo for me and my clients. read more

I went through Archive Property Inspection based on the Yelp reviews and also because they're BBB certified. My inspector, Tom, did a great job! He was very thorough in his inspection and very professional. He even found an issue in the attic that must have been missed by the inspectors from the previous homeowners. Tom was easy to talk to and passed down a lot of information regarding the house, such as when to replace certain items in the future and what to monitor in usual wear and tear of the house. He didn't mind me walking through the inspection with him, he actually encouraged it. The inspection report was emailed to me the SAME DAY as the inspection! It came in with detailed comments and colored pictures of the issues that were found. Overall, I couldn't be happier and I'm glad we went through Archive Property! read more

My husband and I are buying a home and our realtor, Risa, recommended we use Steve and his company. She said I could call around to interview a few inspectors before making a decision but I knew the moment I spoke with Steve on the phone that this was the company I would use. He was very prompt at answering my call, and if he missed a call he would call back within 5 minutes. He answered every question very clearly and thoroughly. He was extremely friendly and I could tell right away that this was the company we wanted to use. (We had another inspection years ago and I only wish we used API then!). Today was our inspection and we met Tommy at the new home. WOW! He was absolutely incredible! He was early, and all set up by the time we arrived. He was extremely professional and the nicest guy. He explained the process, and was thorough and precise. He not only did his job well but he was friendly and personable, and we could tell he wasn't rushing through to hurry out. We are buying a big house, so it was a long inspection, but Tommy was so thorough and patient. We will be recommending everyone that needs an inspection to use API. Thank you team for your outstanding customer service and being great at your jobs! read more

The process of buying a home is already difficult and confusing enough. It comes with lots of emotional stages along the way. Getting an offer accepted can be very exciting! I have known Steve Swanson for at least 6 years now. His inspections have always been very thorough and accurate. He definitely knows what he is doing. When my son bought his first house I had to have Archive Property Inspection do the pre purchase inspection. No one else. Just had a home inspection done yesterday on 3/1/17 and spoke with Steve, got everything scheduled real nice and easy. So Tommy the inspector showed up right on time to the minute. This guy went through the whole house and checked everything, on the roof, in the attic, I mean everything. He found the smallest little things you wouldn't even think to look for. He also knows electrical stuff and found a few things with that. Super cool dude and definitely knows his stuff. After inspection was done got the report that night by email. Tommy is the man and very professional. So if you need an inspection definitely call Steve and ask for Tommy to come out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Steve was thorough and took his time inspecting the house I was buying. He invited me to walk with him as he inspected every inch of the house. His report detailed all the issues we found so it was easy to use the report when asking the seller to fix the problems. The inspection took 3 hours and I was tired at the end. But, I felt that we had looked in every nook and cranny of the house. I liked working with him. He came highly recommended and I see why. read more
