I'm taking this place down a couple stars for a few reasons. 1. They charge $5 for a tasting. Most places in Washington (outside of Woodinville) don't charge you for tasting, and if they do they waive it if you buy a bottle. Not here - you get charged no matter what. 2. They will not go the extra step to make a sale. They assume everything they have is wonderful (it's not) and you should buy it irrelevant to whether you've tried it. We love wine tasting, exploring new wineries and vineyards and most places we go we've found that once you've started a nice conversation with your pourer and they realize you actually want to taste wine and not get drunk, and then buy wine, they'll give you a couple more options if you're interested. Not here - what you see it what you get. 3. It's over-priced. The wines were average for Washington State, but they were charging high-end prices. I don't know of many wineries in Washington that are selling their malbecs for more than $20 a bottle.

With a key interest in supporting the local agriculture community, we strive to create quality wines and ciders that reflect the story behind the glass. Terroir, which is a sense of place reflected through taste, textures, and aromas, is the inspiration for our wines and ciders. We chose to focus on natural winemaking styles, which include spontaneous fermentations, zero filtration, minimal intervention, and much more. Natural, to us, means crafting wine and cider the way it was made for years. We do not manipulate our products but allow them to reflect the terroir and purity of fruit. An important distinction for us is that our products contain zero residual sugar. Natural wine ferments all the way dry and achieves balance through rest and age. Absolutely terrible wedding experience. I really don't want to say bad things about my own wedding,…read moreI would much rather just think of it fondly, however I don't want this to happen to anyone else either. We had a small ceremony and reception in August 2015, with 35 guests that were all family members. We were told that we would have use of the property until 11pm, at which point all guests had to leave, and then ourselves and our staff had to be gone at midnight. This corresponds to all information that our vendors had regarding timing. At 830pm, the property manager turned off our extremely quiet music, and began insulting our guests and staff and telling them that they had to leave. There was absolutely no grounds for her to do this; we had done nothing wrong and were following all property rules. This unfortunate end to the night came on top of an incident involving a large black poodle from the property attacking one of our guests, and the property being shown to other prospective clients during our ceremony! Overall the experience with the property manager ended on a very sour note with our whole family and our staff. It is a great shame because the property itself was perfect, and it was otherwise such an amazing and beautiful day. We had reached out to the manager in several emails for an explanation, and to speak to the owners, but never got a response. I really hope that the owners can do something to rectify the situation.
