    Nachos

The only thing good here is their nachos and ice water. The arroz con pollo I had was slop. Utter slop. I thank God I'm not rushing to the restroom right now. The nachos was good. The fried ice cream was drenched in whip cream and chocolate syrup. It was like made by a high schooler. I should have walked out when I saw the vacuum parked in the dining room and the stacks of soft drinks in the dining room. I regret eating here but oh well. The server was nice but my table was dirty when she sitted me there. Eww

Stopped by this place before a massage on our way back to Dallas from Seattle--it was awesome!! The salsa is spicy and delicious, not bland like a lot of places. My soup was HUGE and super hot with lots of chicken and avocado--DELISH. My fiancé had the chimichanga with ground beef that he said was very good. I had a margarita which the owner, Archie, said she pre-makes herself in-house--it was DELICIOUS. The best part was the service--Archie works the restaurant like a performer working a room. She's HILARIOUS and makes you feel like family. WILL be back!

I adore this family run place. They recently added a breakfast menu so my bff went in to try it out. YUMMY! I had a plate fully of scrambled eggs with provolone, crispy bacon and avocado along with seasoned potatoes. It was too good to stop eating but, with so much food, I couldn't finish my plate. Service is always friendly, quick and attentive. The owner made me a fresh pot of decaf upon my request. I love the addition of breakfast to their menu!

    Combo 3, with 3 chimichangas

Great new menu! Amazing portions, and the meat was very moist. The #3 combo was only 18.95. We had tons of leftovers.

I have been in Burien since 2010, and I never stopped by Archie's. Perhaps, I just am not big on Mexican food as I know they can be heavy on cheese, cream, and beans. Finally, I decided to grab some Mexican food just because it's right there next to my apartment complex. My thought of Archie's is it's an okay restaurant if you want a quick bite of Mexican food. The hostess and the waitress were attentive and served us chips, salsa, pickled vegetables, and refried bean dish. The menu consists of huge entrees portion, and you have your choices of dinner combo, too. There is also the selection for smaller dinner entree if you're not a big eater like I am. The one thing my fiance said is this place serves processed cheese, which is a no-no for him already. Other than that, I have no intention of coming back to Archie's, though the pickled vegetable dish was good.

The salsa and chips are very good. Super Nachos and Chimichangas was horrible. Margarita was good as well.

These street tacos were fabulous, but the best part is the owner. She was very sweet and genuinely interested in our feedback.

Guacamole was so fresh, perfectly seasoned, and it took serious self-control not to just hoover it in minutes. Salsa was also fresh and delish, not too spicy, and complimented the chips and guac nicely. The taquitos were another hit, filled with a decent amount of tender shredded pork and topped with all the right stuff, perfectly crispy but not at all dry. Amazing! The tlayuda was a completely new to us dish, but after seeing a post about it, we had to try. Great for sharing, super unique flavor, spicy and smoky sauce, very filling! The highlight for us, though, without question was the Coloradito mole enchiladas with chicken. Holy Oaxaca!!! I could eat these every week and be the happiest woman alive! I have eaten a lot of mole in my life, but never anything like this. We literally stopped our conversation mid-sentence several times to pause, savor another bite, and then talk about the party happening in our mouths. I don't know what sorcery was in that sauce, but I'm a convert for real. The fact that I live less than 5 min from this magic shop is either going to be a blessing or a curse...man, do I want those enchiladas in my pie hole again! Soooooo good! And the sweetest staff! And their outdoor patio out back was perfect on a warm evening. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Food was great, wait staff was very attentive (even though it filled up right after we got there), and the atmosphere is fun. I even tried coming alone one time, and today my friend and I got in RIGHT away! The universe was working in sooo many ways this time around. Now... I SHOULD have looked at the menu ahead of time! Wayyyy too many options IMO. I love having options, but for a smaller spot like this, I feel like focusing on your best dishes and PERFECTING those would make more sense! Anyways, that's just my opinion! Ha! I got the carne asada omelet with tortillas, beans and potatoes. The potatoes were flavorful. Not crispy, but tasty. The beans -- BOOOMMMBBB! The tortillas -- PERFECT. The omelet was just OK. The flavor was a little lacking, but it was fine. If I had waited an hour for that omelet, though... it would NOT have been OK. Sooo maybe we can remove that one from the menu! Now the hot cocoa... DELICIOUS, different and fun! The coffee was fun too, especially with the hazelnut cream. But when I pulled up the menu, I forgot they make those fun bomb drinks, and I didn't see the drink menu at the counter -- which I wish I had! So if you come here, definitely get one of the fun coffees/drinks or the hot cocoa! I wasn't quite sure how to rate the French toast (photo) because my friend wasn't really feeling well, but I did ask him what he thought and he said they were good! Now, this man is from LA, so the standards are HIGH but he said they were better than the French toast down the street! And I have to mention -- the breakfast burrito I had last time and the mascarpone coffee were DELICIOUS... but that was over three years ago, so I'm not sure how much weight we can put on that review! Overall, I'm glad I FINALLY got back in! Sometimes you just gotta let the universe work it out.

Instead of enjoying the game, we ended up leaving early because of how we were treated. My wife uses a wheelchair and relies on a trained service dog. From the moment we walked in, the owner, Hilda Ramos, was hostile and made it clear that our service dog was not welcome. We explained that the dog is a trained service animal, but she repeatedly came back to our table to question us, making us feel uncomfortable throughout our visit. By the end of our visit, she told us that our service dog would not be allowed back. The dog was calm, well-behaved, and under control the entire time. We had reserved our table in advance to enjoy the game, but because of the owner's behavior, we didn't even get to finish watching it. We didn't even finish our food or our drinks, yet we still paid our entire bill and left because we no longer felt welcome. As a fellow Mexican, and my african wife, it was especially disappointing to be treated this way. I left feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. No customer should be made to feel like they don't belong, especially when they're simply trying to enjoy a meal and are accompanied by a legitimate service animal. I hope the owner takes the time to understand the rights of customers who rely on service animals and treats every guest with dignity and respect. Based on our experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant. The owner is racist and I will make sure ADA knows about her
